The Golden Gate was 1 hour, and the Bridge to Bridge was 1.5 hours. The Bridge to Bridge has few times, so check their website to find one that works for your schedule. On the boat, there is a bar, popcorn, and snacks you can buy. There is a bathroom, although I didn't use it. There are several floors and the lowest floor with the bar has tables. As you enter, if you need the narration in another language, get the headset. By default, over the loudspeaker is English. The first boat trip I did was more crowded on the top deck with more people talking loudly, so I missed about 1/4th of the narration. The volume was never too loud or painful, but with people talking loudly, you will miss it unless you move closer to the speaker. Biggest tips: Wear a jacket and dress warmly if you plan to sit on the top, open air deck. It is extremely windy. Also, having a hair tie is helpful, so you don't have hair blowing in your face. It can be pretty smooth but by the Bay Bridge, the wind makes the water rougher, so you may want to take a motion sickness medicine if you are sensitive. Staff was friendly from the ticket booth to the people at the end telling your goodbye. Nice boat tour!

We boarded the boat at 5:30am and departed exactly at 6am after they checked all of our fishing licenses (so make sure you buy yours online prior to the trip). The captain and deck hands were extremely patient and non-judgmental. The bait was constantly replaced and the deck hands always helped if the hooks got tangled. We were allowed to bring our small Yeti with breakfast and drinks. There is a restroom in the boat which is kept clean and accessible. I caught a large striped bass in which I was able to get cleaned and cut to take home! The views of the city were beautiful and the surrounding areas like Alcatraz and Angel Island. For sure will be planning another trip soon

Mike, Bubba and Willy made sure they had an excellent time. Perfect balance of teaching the kids and taking over when they know the kid isn't strong enough to handle the fish. Those salmon and bonitos can really give you a workout. Mike knows the waterways and where to go to optimize the chances of catching. His passion is obvious, and it's nice to go out with someone who is a 4th generation fisherman. Even the kids who got seasick ended the day with full bags of fish and smiles on their faces. Factor in $25-30 for parking. Hey, it's SF. Will return!

Apparently they try to avoid using the antique boat on the weekends, so we were put on a water taxi. I was pretty bummed that they only use the actual boat on weekdays. Nevertheless, it's a quick 30 minute ride to the sea lions, and WWII ship. The captain briefly talks about the Alcatraz island, but we were quite far from it so don't expect it to come close to the actual island. He was quite knowledgeable and engaged in conversations with the passengers. He also got us pretty wet with the water splashing into the boat, which was quite fun! If you get seasick easily, this might not be for you. The boat is quite small so you would end up feeling the swells a lot more than in a regular sized boat. Note: You don't wear life jackets for the entire ride, due to sanitization costs. You get to use it for FREE if somehow the boat starts to sink. Stating this on here, because I saw some people get off when they found out lifejackets weren't given out. I don't think they got reimbursed either.

Joe was an excellent captain, Mandy was a great whale spotter, the deck hand was kind and helpful (please forgive me if you read this we scanned the other reviews for Joe and Mandy's names). Bear and Oso were great whale spotting alert dogs. We saw 3-4 humpbacks, two of which were a mother and calf pair. The boat was clean. Staff were extremely friendly. Caution to those of you who have never ridden a boat smaller than a ferry before, I would test your stomachs on a shorter ride first, such as the water taxi that goes between piers before jumping on a 2.5 hour boat ride in open waters. We did ok. However there were several people who lost their breakfast, kids and adults alike. If you get motion sick, I would suggest pre-gaming with Dramamine. Per the ten year old: the dogs were adorable! they stayed in the cabin for most of it, but I mean, that's what they do their work. we saw tons of whale spouts, and even in a few whale backs too. definitely going back.

We found Vantigo after asking ChatGPT the best way to see the city. It recommended Vantigo. After looking at the yelp reviews and some YouTube videos, I made the reservation. We can't be happier with our experience. Chad, owner of Vantigo and tour guide, was the friendliest and coolest dude to have guide you around the city. Very knowledgeable, extremely easy to talk to, and more than happy to play photographer. We saw Coit tower, the Golden Gate Bridge, the place that I swear was Naboo in Star Wars, some random local know spot with an amazing view of the city, and drove through pretty much all the neighborhoods while Chad pointed out what he recommended we check out. The tour was about 3 hours long and came with bathroom stops at photo locations. If you are looking for a way to see everything without having to plan it yourself or rent a car during your trip, this is what to do. You won't be disappointed.
