On another road trip and came across this restaurant. Didn't realize it was in a casino. Beautiful casino and mall with plenty of stores and restaurants. We had breakfast and both had western omelettes. It came with home fried potatoes and toast. It was all delicious. Farm fresh eggs and great ham. The home fries were cooked perfectly with onions. My husband and I decided to grab breakfast at Emerald's before we checked out. I'm a huge sucker for good diners and didn't except to have an exceptional breakfast here, but I did. We were seated right away. The menu is pretty extensive, so options for everyone. I decided to order something light since we ate quite a bit the night before. My egg white spinach, tomato and feta omelette was amazing! It was flavorful, light and huge! It usually comes with toast and fruit but I ordered it without. My omelette was $12. My SO ordered a standard egg, bacon, sausage and hash brown meal. He loved everything except the breakfast sausage, he said it tasted like a hot dog. Coffee was good and the service was excellent. Attentive staff are everywhere here. As noted in some other reviews, the decor and furniture could use a facelift but it didn't bother me much. It's been years since I've been here and glad we decided to come back. You get a lot for your money compared to other dining options at Turning Stone. Next time we visit TS, we'll definitely visit Emerald's again. Also, it's open 24/7, good late night eats! read more

Service was okay considering that they only had 2 servers (that's what I was told anyway). Drink order was taken for myself and my guest and both drinks brought out were wrong. One was unsweet tea (brought out sweet tea) and the other was a white zin wine (brought out a white wine, not the "pinkish" color of a white zin). Replaced both but for the unsweet tea I was brought a bottle of tea and was told that they do not make unsweet tea anymore, they only made sweet tea. Since it was a bottle, no refills. I guess if they can make sweet tea, why not make an unsweet tea? It's the same thing, just don't put sugar in it. Also, menu price was not accurate. On the menu it says assorted teas were $2.75 and I was charged $2.95. I know only 20 cents but also with no refills since it is in a bottle it isn't the price that was listed on the menu (was told I could get free refills for sweet tea). Not sure how accurate other prices are. In the past I have ordered items that would come out incomplete. Ordering a Cobb salad and not having avocado is just one example. We went for breakfast on Nov. 21. I had the California Eggs Benedict- Turkey bacon, avocado, pico de gallo hollandaise on a toasted English muffin. It was sooooo good. The waitress said it is being removed from the menu December 1. I hope they rethink that. It was awesome. My husband had the Full House- Two eggs, home fries, sausage, toast. There is a good selection of food for breakfast,lunch,and dinner with reasonable prices.The waitresses are always nice and the food comes out pretty quickly at a good temperature. First time I went it was great. I was looking forward to coming back and getting the salad I loved. 20+ year cook, I was actually thinking of applying, I like the food that much. Well I came back tonight and ordered that salad no cheese oil and vinegar. It came out with cheese. It happens. Not a big deal. I send it back. It comes back with some of the cheese removed and the server just walks away. I left I would never ever work for a chef that lazy with such low standards. It is easy to tell this place is a favorite amongst the Turning Stone guests because there is always a line to get in, and always a flow of happy full guests on the way out. Count us as two of them! We ate brunch on Monday and enjoyed our biscuits and gravy and grilled chicken on ciabatta with avocado ranch sauce that we came back today and reordered the exact same meal - why mess with a good thing? The biscuits were massive and fresh baked, the sausage gravy filled with crumbles and seasoned perfectly, and eggs scrambled to order. My girlfriend would have taken home a gallon of the avocado ranch if she could - good thing we had no room in the car. I've been coming here since I was a little kid. The menu used to be so much more extensive, you got real fancy napkins. They have since re-designed the menu, got rid of the smoking section and made the layout more open. I got my two favorites. Loaded potato skins and buffalo chicken wings, hot. Absolutely delicious. My favorite part of the loaded potato skins is that they're GIANT and the bacon is always perfectly crisp. I don't know if it is, but it tastes high quality! Chicken wings are perfectly crisp. My biggest issue with buffalo wings is when they're beyond "mild/medium" (which I think Frank's + Butter is) they get too vinegary tasting. Not the case here. A flavorful hot. Their bleu cheese is one of my favorites. Our waitress was obviously exhausted but very kind. Food came out in about 10-15 minutes which made me very happy. The BLT was good but the chips it came with were disgusting. Way, way too much salt. Skip them. I've also had the shrimp alfredo here before, well worth it. However when you call with food allergy concerns and the employee who answers the phone doesn't realize the importance of someone asking what is in the dish and guesses instead of doing the due diligence to find out is concerning. I asked if the Three Meatball appetizer had garlic. The employee says no quickly and you ask are you sure because its a food allergy instead replies " well there's garlic bread" But what about the meatballs?? Are these people trained properly to acknowledge a request regarding ingredients? Or are they just to lazy to really find out? read more

Went to Turning Stone and me and my gambling partner went her for an early dinner. It was around 4 and we were promptly seated and our waitress was Melissa. I ordered a buffalo wrap and it had the perfect amount of heat and was well prepared. My friend wanted breakfast and got the eggs benedict and that also looked great. Both meals were served together in under 12 minutes. The really great part of eating here is we can also play Keno while we dine and our Melissa made sure we always had a table runner to take our bet so we wouldn't miss a game. Eggs were not real,toast was floppy and bacon was stiff like plastic. The real disappointment were the advertised home fries which were not home fries they were pre frozen potato puffs ..greasy tasteless and gross. Service was friendly and great. Obviously there are limited options for lunch inside the casino (many restaurants don't open until dinner) and this definitely serves a purpose in that regard, but meal composition, quality, and execution could all use improvement.
