So many great looking pastries I went with the lemon blueberry fresh blueberries in a light fluffy just enough lemon crème filling a flaky pastry shell so yum! Other one was chocolate peanut butter rich and filling delicious. There were gluten free options, coffees, juices, man's other drinks. So glad we stopped! Wishing them all the best but knowing those pastries will make it happen.

Walking in, you are instantly greeted by a cute barista. You notice all the goodies in the display cases. The pastries all looked so good! The brownie and rice Krispy treat was massive! The cookies looked delicious. The muffins were hearty looking. It was hard to pick what kind of goody I wanted. I got my husband and I a bagel with cream cheese. I also got a small hot Chai with oat milk. My daughter got a prosciutto sammy and a strawberry lemonade. Not gonna lie, just for a few items, it was close to 35 bucks. The price point is pretty high here. I can appreciate the prices but it was pretty steep for a few things. My chai was good. The oat milk and tea was balanced. It didn't over power one another. My bagels were very soft and fresh! I did ask for them to be toasted and they weren't. The bagels were very chewy so it would have been nice to have a crunchy texture to the bagel. My daughter's lemonade was refreshing and tart. I didn't get a chance to try her sammy but can anything with prosciutto be bad? It was neat stopping into this local coffee joint. It's darling and cute. If I had my own spot, I would probably have a similar spot. You're going to find some sweet treats and good drinks here. I enjoyed my drink very much. I look forward to coming back and trying other items on their menu while I'm staying here at Slyvan Beach.

I enjoyed the flatbread pizza, largely due to the flatbread itself. I have noticed a large void of good pizza crust in this area and surrounding villages, so this scratched that itch. The fried pickles were bar food at its best. A crisp, spear, rendition instead of the flimsy pickle chips found in many diners. They make their own dressings and the blue cheese dressing alone will bring me back. The fries were also good, but the margaritas could use some work. The mix tastes like gatorade, so still drinkable, but if the homemade nuance from that crave-worthy blue cheese dressing could be applied, it would be a lovely elevation and bring me back more than my budget should allow. The music on Thursday at their first strings and wings was F*#$ing fantastic!! I did not catch the performers name, but folks, come with cash for tips because this artist brought his A game. Multi-genre, great guitar skills, and a fabulous voice. We sat in the dining because the bar area is a bit small for eating, but we could hear him perfectly and it made the night. This event with the crowd spread them thin and tested the kitchen, but besides a "relaxed" pace of the food coming out, there was no impact to service and everyone was lovely. We must support these local gems if we want them in our backyard. So while I will be a thorn in their side trying to push for an upgraded cocktail experience, I will also be a devout local advocating for my community to be the same. Well done Uncle J's!

Just a few barflies sitting in the front room, so we went into the dining room which was empty. Our server/bartender was very attentive and great. Guinness was properly poured too. We ordered the steak tips main and the chicken riggies main. Each came with a salad and a small loaf of bread for the whole table to share. Salads were fresh and crunchy. Bread was fresh and soft. Portions were massive and the riggies were a bit hit. The steak was overdone, but ok. The gravy on top however was an odd color and texture without much flavor other than a slight sour tang. The dish would have been better served without the gravy. In any case, we were too full for dessert.
