A questionable spot was found on my mammogram and I had always considered having a breast reduction. I decided to just do it! I had breast reduction and lift surgery, with liposuction. Two words... NO DRAINS! I never knew until Dr. Costas told me, that I had what is called Breast Hypertrophy, just another example of the extent of knowledge and experience of Dr. Costas! I was scheduled when there was a cancellation, and had my surgery one week after my consultation! The staff shared their own, personal surgery stories with me and they have a way of putting you at ease! My primary doctor, NP and my specialists are familiar with Dr. Costas' work and speak in high regards of his talent. I work in the medical field, and I have highly recommended Dr. Costas to my patients and colleagues. I am so glad I had the surgery, and wish I had done it sooner! I am grateful for the results, and for the positive effects this surgery has had on my health. I am so lucky to have found Dr. Costas and his staff.

I developed keloid scars under both breasts. Still, he did not inform me what I had or how to help myself. He repeatedly advised massaging the area with vitamin E. Keloid scarring is irritating and erythematous. The scars are raised and thick. I would not recommend this doctor. He does not take the time to evaluate each patient properly, and his communication skills are inadequate. I waited to write this to see if my scars would heal over time, and they have not. Working with him was the worst decision I have made in the field of plastic surgery. There is more, as he did three procedures, but I will not go on. I wasted my money and am permanently scarred. The lack of communication left me feeling empty, uncared for, and cheated. Please! Find someone who listens, asks about your health condition and previous procedures, gives you the facts, and treats you like an individual with unique concerns. 12/31/25. May the coming year see more caring plastic surgeons!

I met her in the ER of Emerson where she was just standing there after I suffered a terrible gallbladder attack. Resciniti wanted to do the surgery that night but said she didn't think I could consent because my husband had just died and I agreed. I later stupidly agreed to elective surgery. Resciniti told me I would be fine without my gallbladder and basically did not need it. I stupidly did no research and just believed her. Within two days of surgery, I had to take ambulance back to Emerson after throwing up with terribly explosive diarrhea. The nurse there said with a sick look on her face "It is called Dumping Syndrome." Dumping syndrome can occur after gallbladder removal due to changes in bile flow, leading to rapid digestion and gastrointestinal symptoms. But Resciniti just stood there and said nothing. I developed terrible chronic diarrhea and became very afraid to leave my house or be anywhere for very long because of this uncontrollable sudden diarrhea, which I never suffered before surgery. I came to find out that Sudden Diarrhea is very common after gallbladder removal and has destroyed many people's lives like my life. I developed terrible gas and diarrhea and acid reflux and many eating and digestive problems. I also became very angry and mixed up because I had no idea what the surgery would do to me and was totally devastated by it. This surgery was the biggest mistake of my life. Resciniti never verbally told me that Ursodiol could dissolve the gallstones so that I may be able to keep my gallbladder. She also never alerted me to the terrible health challenges I would face without a gallbladder. Instead, Resciniti verbally told me I would be just fine. But instead it was the worst mistake I ever made in my life and has caused me absolute misery and devastation. I have since come to find out that about 50 percent of people have terrible regret from having their gallbladders removed and consider it the worst mistake of their life. I wish I had at least been verbally told of all the terrible consequences that come from having no gallbladder instead of just verbally told basically I would be just fine and could eat whatever I wanted. I now have horrible complications that were never mentioned by her when she treated me before the surgery. If I had ever known what my life would become without a gallbladder, which she never verbally told me, I would have never let her remove it. I hope she is happy that her surgery, which she said would heal me, destroyed my life. She has continued making her gingerbread houses while I stayed in my house and became a terrible recluse and very severely depressed. I now suffer from diverticulosis and terrible bowel problems. I can't believe Resciniti told me I would be just fine and that I brainlessly believed her and just took her word for it. My life has been and health have been basically destroyed. Thanks so much, Andrea. You turned my life into a total train wreck. Maybe you should actually tell people what happens when you take out their gallbladder instead of saying that they will be just fine because I am certainly not unless you consider horrible illness of the gut and the bowels and reflux and everything under the sun being JUST FINE. Thanks so much.

I had an implant in 2020 and it looked great at first until I eneded up with an abcess. Dr Chua did the implant, Dr Dowd did a surgery to clean up under the gum tissue of the implant. The problem was due to leaving cotton in the implant core, which led to the abcess. Dr.Dowd tried to resolve the issue, but never did a bone graft during the second surgery. It left my gum bruised looking and food could enter up underneath the gum tissue. I returned once again for help and Dr. Morgan denied cotton had been left, which makes no sense because his colleague did a surgery due to this problem?? He was rude and pulled periodontal floss under the gum causing it to bleed. I'm on blood thinners and have had two open heart surgeries! I just went to another oral surgeon who said there was substantial bone and gum tissue lost costing me another surgery and time off from work. Hopefully, it works or I will need another implant thanks to their negligence.

The office staff and dental associates were very welcoming, professional and caring. Dr. Chuah and Jill, her friendly dental associate, went out of their way to explain the procedure each step of the way and solicit questions. Once my surgery was underway, they were very good about checking in with me to confirm that I was doing okay. Even when Dr. Chuah encountered an unexpected challenge involving a wisdom tooth adjacent to my troublesome molar, she made me feel very much at ease by explaining what had occurred, how she was going to deal with it and then expertly addressing the issue in a most satisfactory way. Specifically, she ended up extracting both my impacted molar and wisdom tooth while maintaining my comfort throughout the procedure. Following my surgery, Dr. Chuah was very helpful in explaining what I needed to do in terms of follow-up and in answering a few questions that I had. Further, I was most impressed that, on the day following my surgery, Dr. Chuah called me herself, just to confirm that I was making a good recovery. In addition to being an excellent surgeon, Dr. Chuah clearly understands just how important clear and frequent communication is in facilitating a good patient experience. This is especially so with respect to oral surgery, which is an inherently stressful and uncertain procedure for most patients. If you need oral surgery, I would strongly encourage you to consider choosing Dr. Chuah and her team. Finally, I am most grateful to be living in an age and place where skilled doctors have the knowledge and resources to remedy so many of our medical problems. What George Washington would have given if he could have traveled through time and had Dr. Chuah address his many debilitating dental woes! Jay L.

It was a very difficult recovery and Melissa was so helpful getting me back to my normal activities that I sought her out again when I had a right shoulder rotator cuff tear and subsequent surgery in July 2017. PT Associates is out of network for me, but I knew that with the difficult road ahead (this was an unfortunate injury), I had to have Melissa as my physical therapist again. She is experienced, patient, perceptive, thoughtful and has a soothing calmness that made me comfortable. I had some problems, including frozen shoulder, so my recovery was long and painful. Melissa was always encouraging, but balanced in what my expectations should be and she was firm when she needed me to curb my activities. I am also impressed by her knowledge and ability to find innovative ways to help me move forward when I hit plateaus. I had my last appointment with Melissa today and am so grateful for her dedication to her patients. In closing, I would also like to mention that the entire staff at PT Associates was great. Chris was enormously helpful in so many ways. The office is quiet, clean, and welcoming.

She was instrumental in decreasing my pain and swelling, advising me on next steps, and finding the right surgeon to reattach my hamstrings. After surgery I continued with PTAoC and worked with Melissa for nearly a year. Her positivity and good judgment saw me through small gains like fully straightening my leg and sitting upright to bigger ones like walking, stair climbing, and ultimately, exercise again. Her sense of humor and ability to connect could distract me from discomfort or focus me on exercise when each were needed. When my patience wore thin and I thought I would never be well again, Melissa reminded me with a calm and quiet confidence not to rush my healing or compare myself to others, but to do my best achieving my own goals. She never offered false hope about a quick recovery, but pointed out, time and again, how it was making me a better trainer. A year out from surgery I can say that it has, and every day I find opportunities to pay forward to my own clients the good lessons I learned in her care.
