Came here on Taco Tuesday. It's just a short walk from our house, so I was hoping this would become our go-to neighborhood spot. Unfortunately, the tacos were just OK. To be fair, it's probably not their fault -- I just got back from LA, where even random taco spots seem to serve incredible tacos. At this point I'm starting to wonder: are tacos in the Bay Area like pizza in California? Is there something in the water that makes it impossible for someone in the Bay to make a truly great taco, while in Los Angeles you can pull up to a random stand and have one of the best tacos of your life? Was craving tacos and looked up Emiliano's. It was kinda sus walking up and all their prices were taped over on the truck. I got 4 tacos and a burrito. When she said $35 dollars I was surprised. Damn near $40? Each taco was about $4.50! Good didn't justify the price either. Burritos are mostly rice, carnitas you can tell weren't fresh. The use big tortillas for the burritos but don't fill them enough so you're literally taking big bites of just tortillas. The tripa was good but not good enough for $4.50 a taco. absolutely incredible! Will definitely will be coming back. Even though these tacos are small... they are SO delicious and satisfying. We got pollo and asada and there was zero gristle or fat (not like many other places I've visited recently that use to be great) and the prices are good. Really nice ladies were working and the place you can sit there is cute, we took ours to go. My only suggestion would be that they cut their limes differently- You get a generous ¼ of a lime but the direction it's cut doesn't let the juice out easy. P.S. I like the food. Don't get me wrong. Excellent salsa for delicious tacos, although the al pastor is a bit grizzled and the chicken a bit strange. (Asada are my favorite). Here is the problem. The prices used to be $3/taco just a month ago. When up to $3.50, which is fine. Food costs have gone up. To mark that increase in price, they put a piece of masking tape over the painted price on the truck and wrote $3.50 on it. Fine. But, what have I noticed the last three times? I am being charged $3.85/taco BEFORE the tax. If you a can replace the $3 price for $3.50 with a piece of masking tape and some magic market, why can't you put a new piece of masking tape on that show the price you actually charge...$3.84. I asked the woman last time why I was paying $3.84 before tax and she simply answered that that is the price now. Fix that and I will fix my review. In the meantime, I will probably go to La Cocina Taqueria for my taco fix. read more

Just had a vegetarian burrito, which was overpriced and undersized. Burrito was almost all rice very few beans and you would need to use an electron microscope to find the guacamole which was supposed to to be in it. Also ordered a side of guacamole for the chips which was ridiculously small and way overpriced and underwhelming. A small container with about 1 teaspoon of salsa was included such as small amount feels really cheap. It was however pretty decent flavor but not that special. Service was fast and efficient. This place is super good. Seriously, I'm hesitant to even write this review because I don't want to wait in a line, but they deserve to have business and I don't want them to close. Watch out local taco trucks, there's a new kid on the block, and they're trying up the dial. While driving down San Pablo, I noticed the lot had been cleaned up and a new taco truck was set up with shaded seating. The young woman who assisted me was kind and the wait to get my food wasn't too long. I honestly can't wait to come back, they have 11+ different meats, tacos, burritos, quesabirria, ceviche, and menudo on the weekends. WORST BURRITO EVER! Don't waste your money on these dirt tasting burritos. I ordered 2 vegetarian burritos with extra sour cream on both and guacamole on 1. I ate 1/2 of it and no sign of sour cream or guacamole. My wife's burrito had no sour cream. I went back and showed them the burritos. They opened them up fully to show me the alleged guacamole and sour cream. I saw none! They claimed it was on there, but, they said they don't put much guacamole or sour cream on, even when you pay extra! I never ever write a review , however , I have all the time in the world today. I came ordered two fish tacos where I was charged $11. when I picked up my order they did not give no type of sauce, peppers, or anything. I asked for some Verde and she gave me one very small verde. I asked her for one more and she said that it was going to cost me $.50. All my years of going to taco trucks I've never ever experienced, 1, not getting any sauce, and 2 , being charged for one tiny little Verde. I paid it with no problem, but I said to myself that I would never ever in my life come here again! I feel like that was beyond petty and it was worth losing one customer, than hey, I guess that's the best business model that works for them. as far as the fish tacos -- I give them a 3/10. Absolutely no flavor at all and had a very funny taste to them where I forced myself to finish it just to get my moneys worth. I like to go places and support businesses that truly value their customer experience to make them want to come back -- but to be petty and customers for taco sauce to go with their tacos is crazy to me. again, I am black , so maybe that's just how they did me. I haven't wrote a review in a while but when I usually do. The food has to be very good and made me feel some type of way! I only been here twice and had there steak burrito and it was delicious! It was made to perfection, flavor was on the spot. I've had tons of steak burritos around this area from different vendors but this place had to be in my top 2! My 2nd time coming here, I wanted to try something new that I don't normally order. I ordered a steak torta! My 1st experience of having a torta in general wasn't a good one and it was just disgusting. But there steak torta honestly was so good and mouth watering! The type of buns they used was so soft and the steak was so tender and every bite was so flavorful and heaven like! I might be over exaggerating but as a filipino who loves his mexican food! This is most def. My place to go and especially before heading to work! Im excited to go back again and i want to try something different in the menu every time I go! I def. I've only had the breakfast burrito but it was wonderful and I felt like it was a good value compared to other nearby breakfast burritos. You know a place is good when all of the constructions guys go there. This is my new "go-to" place for tacos, and I've been there a lot lately! I thought the regular burrito, tortas, and menudo were good but average, but where this place really stands out is its tacos. They're street tacos, so they're small but loaded with meats. Some favorites are the tripas and buche. Not for everyone, but delicious! There are still a lot of specials and other things to try on the menu, and I'm definitely going to be working my way through them. It's a quirky place, since it's a taco truck based in an empty lot, but they've put up some tent canopies with tables and chairs and even some plants to make it a nice place to grab a quick bit. I was a bit reluctant to post about this place since I didn't want the "secret" getting out. I'll probably regret it when the lines get long, but I want this place to be sucessful and last a looong time! read more

Ok, I have to agree with the other reviews. Some of the best food from a food truck. We ordered a carnitas regular burrito, fish super burrito and steak fries. Steak fries had a good amount of steak and the fries were not soggy. Surprisingly both burritos had a good amount of meat and fish. The only difference between a regular and super is that the super has guac. The service was quick. We didn't eat at their patio, we took our food to go. Carnitas was crispy, tender and juice, fish taco was flat iron grilled fish with Baja style slaw on top, Carne Asada was good with onions, cilantro and salsa verde. Did not blow my sock off but very good. All tasted very fresh. Probably could have eaten 2 more. My favorite in order Carnitas, Pescado and Carne. They have a covered area with four picnic tables. Decided to give this place a try, saw their catering truck at my daughters school so looked them up being the big yelper I'am. Needless to say, very glad we did! The Quesabirria was deliciously crunchy by the time we drove home, not overly greasy, the Steak Quesadilla was very delicious as well, daughter loved it, I got the Alpastor Burrito and forgot to mention super, oh well next time, it was very comforting. The service was very good too, the place is nice, there's a covered space with picnic tables so that you can enjoy your meal there and the Agua de Horchata was very tasty too. My only critique, and it's personal opinion not negative in any way, the frijoles were just a little Al dente still for my liking, next time I'll ask for refried if that's an option, and I also prefer the meats to be thinner slices, these were all pretty thick which tells you they aren't cheap, you definitely get what you pay for... did I mention the red Salsa was bomb... oh and they serve Menudo and Birria On the weekends, can't wait to try the Menudo, I'll keep you posted;) read more

Really pleasantly surprised. I stopped here on a quiet Saturday mid afternoon and was the only customer. Quesabirria taco was $4 and a nice size. I didn't notice consomme offered on the menu though. I loved that they grilled it to a crisp without making it dry. Also had a shrimp taco which was good. The shrimp inside was massive cut chunks maybe langostino. The salsa was my favorite and I'm usually not that interested in salsa. The spot was very clean. The service was efficient and friendly.
