Consistency been very sporadic since my initial visits. They've forgotten to add salsa on top in the past when we had asked for adjustments (like no onion or cilantro) but, they completely left it out this time for my order with "everything on it". Good thing I ordered the horchata or I'd have died choking on the tacos. To make matters worse.. they forgot my horchata again (happens often) and told us they didn't charge us for one.. when we went to check our transaction.. they immediately said she's making one for us.. it's getting worse here

    Amazing. Sinply perfect.

This is the most amazing taco truck in the area. Parked right next to the Hattie Tozzi bar on San Pablo in ALBANY California. Their location is perfect. It's just a couple minutes away from where I live. The ladies that worked there are always pleasant and courteous, and make the best tacos anywhere. I recommend this for friends family everyone.

This taco truck is so underrated. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There aren't any seats at all, so my friend and I just ate it inside our car - which was a total vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Their carnitas tacos were crunchy and flavorful - my favorite tacos. The rest comes very close: al pastor, asada, and birria. You can't go wrong with any of these tacos - all very delicious. My biggest regret here was that I only got four tacos and nothing to-go. Service was quick. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was not extremely busy, but there was constant traffic.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I feel like this taco truck is popular amongst the locals for obvious reasons. Highly recommend!

In the words of my brother, these tacos are gas. Just as good as what you would find in LA. Get the carne, carnitas and crispy tripe and you won't be upset. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Located in the parking lot of the Hotsy Totsy, FYI you can eat them inside if you're buying drinks there.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Oily food.

I have been purchasing food from this food truck for the last 5 years and the food is not the same today. All 3 burritos I purchased are drowning in oil. Very sad that their food quality has lost consistency; their plastic bag was open in the bottom and I ended up with food oil stains all over my car and clothing. On top of that they charge a lot for POS payments. No good.

I tried this popular place for the first time! I ordered the chicken burrito. It was delicious! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere and service were also great.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Overall it served its purpose. I ordered a asada burrito and it was pretty good! I also ordered a horchata and that was not my cup of tea but food overall was good. Meat was tender and flavorful which I enjoyed. Customer service was fine. Nothing worth noting aside from being nice. Overall will return again when in the area

It's kinda expensive for a burrito that only has beans, cheese, rice, and meat. For $20 it should have some sour cream & come with chips. Yes it tasted good but it was greasy. So I'm giving the burrito 2.5 stars Now the street tacos are $3 each which seems like a fair price - I should have gotten tacos.

A throwback to high school off campus lunches! Burritos and tacos still hit like they used to. Unfortunate that it's more than 2x as expensive as before though. Sign of the times

Love the service! It's fast paced. The food is excellent! They also accept zelle and Venmo which is convenient the people were nice and they understood English, so visitors can order here late at night till 12midnight!

I randomly found this taco truck on google and wow I'm so glad i stumbled across this! Honestly hands down of the best Mexican trucks I've had in a long time! I ordered a burrito with carne asada and it was amazing! It wasn't your typical carne asada. It tastes like they had cooked the asada in a slow cooker all day! It fell apart in your mouth and was just so soft. My boyfriend ordered carne asada and pastor tacos. The pastor was fine but the highlight is really the asada. I'll definitely be back soon! They accept card too!

I have the beef head, tongue and beef tripe

    Is this still open?

I think they're opening back up on the 6th? I think they posted on their Instagram.

Does anyone know if they use lard (Manteca)? I know a lot of places don't use it anymore but the one at Mcbears does and it definitely doesn't agree with a vegetarian tummy.

I don't specifically know the answer, but I remember my staunchly vegan roommate eating these veggie tacos. He wouldn't have eaten them if they'd been made with animal fat. However, it's possible that there was a miscommunication about the lard…

I went there on Thursday 8pm(4/4/19) was no truck. Do u guys closed on rainy days? *Edited* Heard they are open tmrw(4/11/2019) :)

The taco truck is getting repaired right now! They should be back tomorrow. They posted about it on their Instagram.

When I was finally asked if I was ready to order, employees were nice. I sat while waiting for my order because they have a cute eating area if you wanted to sit and enjoy your food there. They have two picnic tables under heat lamps with a few wine barrels for standing. Nice little set up. Food was hot and surprisingly delicious. The momos were good and the sauces that came with everything was also great. The spicy red sauce definitely has a kick! Location is a bit strange, it's in a parking lot with a small eating area. The employees brought out games for the area to use, such as cornhole and jenga. Everyone who worked there was super nice and talked to us about the food and Nepal. Food was brought out to us at our table which was a bit unexpected for a food truck. Price and quantity was typical for a food truck. With the service and delicious food this is a must stop if you're in El Cerrito or driving through the area as we were going up to Tahoe. I have also seen them pop up elsewhere around the bay but this seems like a permanent spot for them. Overall: 4.7/5

Located next to the Peppermint Tree Plaza, MOMOlicious offers authentic Nepali bites in casual fashion. I appreciated the menu explaining what a mo mo is, the type of fillings offered, and different mo mo menu options. We ordered the Ultimate Jhol Mo:mo (steamed momo) served in a classic soup made from sesame seeds, tomato, cilantro, and soybean. We chose chicken. We also ordered the Nepali Chowmein with chicken as well. Loved the unique flavors, the textures, and exploration of this culinary cuisine. The owner came over and chatted with us about the menu and future of the space. Earlier in the day they brought mini ponies for the kiddos to ride! Very much looking forward to bringing our friends back here as the weather is getting better for corn hole and outdoor entertainment. Also looking forward to exploring more of the menu, meats, and other mo mo options (maybe the crispy version next time) and mango lassi. Personally, I enjoyed the chow mein way more-it was super flavorful and had a unique twist compared to other chow meins I've had. The momos were decent, but the chicken had a bit too much of a clove flavor for my taste, and I wish the sauce had a little more punch to it. Service was solid! Everything is made fresh, so it took a little longer than expected, but they've got a game area in front of the truck, so we passed the time playing cornhole, which was a nice touch for some fun ambiance. The only downside is the parking-it's a bit tight and street parking can be tough, especially on weekends. I'd definitely come back to try more of their menu. The chow mein alone is worth a return trip!

I thought they might be closed because the front gate is closed, but if the side gate through the parking lot is open, it's open. They have a nice big open lot with tables to eat, and an inside tent as well. They were closing a little early for another event, so I waited about 15 minutes to get takeout and took it to a nearby park. The Chatamari is a great gluten-free option with its rice dough, I wasn't sure if it would be enough for a meal but it was plenty for $12! Topped with minced chicken, egg & a ton of spice, this place is not dialing down the spice for 'American' palates. Like a 'pizza' the rice dough is nice and chewy, but doesn't make you feel too stuffed. I want to go back and try the Bala made with lentils, and the Yomari dessert. The momo have a nice strong wrapper (hate it when those fall apart), good size with 8 for $12, they gave me half veggie & meat, thank you! The $5 mango lassi was delish, very yogurt-y, not enough of it to keep up with all the spice in my meal though. With its reasonable prices & good portions, it's a great option nearby for a tasty lunch or dinner.

On Friday we decided to give it a try. Honestly we both were hoping to order the Chicken Fried Rice but unfortunately they were completely sold out. So we opted for the Cajun Chicken tenders and fries as well as the Mango Habanero chicken wings and fries. It took about 25 minutes for our order to be completed. We were extremely pressed for time so we literally grabbed our food and left. In hindsight the time was extremely reasonable as that's how long it takes for your food to be prepared. In other words our food was made to order and not previously prepared. Let me just say the Mango Habanero wings were delicious! They were generously sauced with the right about of crispness. I found them to be flavorful and abundant. My order came with about 10 wings, fries and sauce. The sauces did not come with a lid, I was t too thrilled about that. As for the tenders, they were large, well seasoned with a dry rub, crispy and juicy. It's two days later and I am STILL thinking about my food which is a great sign. If you're in a rush, it will take a while for your food to be prepared and because the food is excellent know you will have to stand in quite a line. I would highly recommend if you enjoy chicken as there are several options to choose from. I most definitely will be returning!
