We have been going here for quite some time, at least 10 years. It has been pretty good, but recently when we got home we realized we were shortchanged a taco. So during our next visit we mentioned to the older lady who takes our order we were missing a taco last time. Her immediate response was "you should count your tacos before leaving" in a very rude, angry manner. Who opens a tied up plastic bag and counts their tacos to go? Then she became defensive when we started counting our tacos right at the truck before leaving. Does Autlense means authentic? I'd believe it if that's what you'd tell me because tacos here were simply all great! I tried their cabeza, lengua (extra), tripe (also extra), and birria tacos. I loved them all! No issue finding street parking. They take cards and venmo/zelle. If you do pay with card it's a 3.5% surcharge as disclosed. Highly recommend the carnitas burrito as the meat is juicy and flavorful! The reviews are not lying when they say this is one of the best burritos in the bay! It is a food truck so no tables but I say there is plenty of parking to just eat in the car. My only thing is the lady was pretty skimp on the salsa I ordered a burrito, two tacos and a side of rice and she gave me two small red salsas. Mmmmmm legit tacos that remind me of Los Angeles. Carne Asada and Lengua are my personal favorites, but you really can't go wrong with any of the meat options here. I ordered a burrito with carne asada and it was amazing! It wasn't your typical carne asada. It tastes like they had cooked the asada in a slow cooker all day! The truck is cash only. Parking is street parking. When you walk up to the truck, you can smell how good this place was! We had high hopes, as it has almost 5 stars based on 500+ reviews. I would definitely get this one again. Al pastor was good but the meat was a little on the dry side for me. Cabeza was also enjoyable but had slightly more fatty chunks than I would have like. However, it is close to my workplace and these tacos are $2.50 each so I'll give them props for that. What I like about the area where they're located is that there is free street parking for 90 mins, no tax, and is affordable!
