Their donuts are huge and amazing. My favorite is the split cream. I wish i could eat one every day!

Excellent donuts, but poor availability. I've been here three times so far, and each time they've run out of about half of their varieties of donuts by 9:00am or so. Obviously a donut shop doesn't want to end the day with a huge surplus, but Emily's seems to err too far on the conservative side. Overall, quite good, but ignore what's on the menu and/or display case and just the luck of the draw. read more

Emily's is addictive. I'm a huge fan of their Boston Cream doughnuts and their eclairs (you really only need one éclair because they're the biggest darned things ever). I've also had lunch there, and their sandwiches are surprisingly good for a doughnut shop. Their employees are top-notch and are totally understanding when you can't make up your mind. I only wish they served sandwiches later in the day instead of stopping at 2pm. read more

OMG, I must have these donuts again before I leave and I will! My husband was trying to find a car wash and said he smelled the donuts from the road. He had to stop and am I glad he did. He picked up 4 donuts and two specialty donuts. All were amazing. First, I'll start with the apple fritter. It was large and the best apple fritter I've ever eaten. Light and perfect. Perfectly glazed too. Next up, I tried a classic white frosted donut with rainbow sprinkles. It was super high (in height), twice as high as a regular DD donut. Again, killer. After that I tried the cinnamon roll. Looking at it, you wouldn't think it looked fluffy like a Cinnabon cinnamon roll but it is and it's also outrageous. He also picked up the Maple donut with bacon bits, which I didn't try but he said was excellent. Then the salted caramel donut. Also really good but not my favorite. My favorite, in addition to the apple fritter, which I guess doesn't make it my favorite but it's so hard to say which one is my favorite, is the Blueberry Cake. Outstanding! I just love it when we find a great place by accident. I didn't even find it using Yelp! Sorry Yelp but for my fellow Yelpers, if you're a donut fan and you're in the Williamsburg area, you will want to stop in on Emily's. Thanks Emily's. Needs business help! Wanted to try a new place in Williamsburg, but they were sold out on Friday by 10am! There was a sign on the door that said sold out, but I still went up to the door, thinking they're still selling coffee or something other than donuts. I've seen other posts with the same issue within the same week and this will run the business into the ground. read more

We always go here,the donuts and cinnamon buns are usually awesome. However the last time I went in I got two cinnamon buns and a dozen donuts and the cinnamon buns were raw in the middle. I let them know on their Facebook page and my message was deleted and I never got a response no apology or anything. The customer service has gone down a bit in the last three years , and every time I go the employees are standing outside smoking. I will not be back any time soon.. read more

Donuts are wonderful but the true winner to me was the chicken pot pie! Melt away crust, lots of chunky chicken and vegetables, and a perfect amount of salt and herbs. Loved loved loved it! Servers are very attentive, too. Outdoor seating is now a rickety picnic table but this business has planned disciplined expansion of the menu to include sandwiches, etc. and additional seating may come with it. read more

I am glad we found this little gem in Williamsburg. We live within 2 miles of Duck Donuts...and drive right by to go to Emily's! Donuts are FRESH and HUGE! The staff are extremely friendly. Dropped by about 8:30 am on a Thursday. Not too busy but busy enough for the donuts to keep rolling out! There were already donuts that were sold out from the morning. We got a dozen donuts of an assortment. Great, fresh, beautiful donuts, great service, good prices! They had a sample of the apple spice chai tea that they will make up for you if you wanted to try. Also very yummy! I tried the chocolate cake glazed - perfect sweetness, a little crunch, delicious chocolate taste. Pb&j- on my. If you like pb&j this donut is for you. LOTS of strawberry filling and crunchy peanut butter glaze. Yum! Maple glazed & bacon- sweet salty, the perfect combination! A great place to go if you're craving donuts. Locals were lined up inside when we arrived. To me, that's usually a good sign. I had the blueberry fritter, which was fresh, sweet, and larger than my head! Don't bother picking up Starbucks - any one of their roasts pair well with their delicious treats. read more

We recently moved to the area and a friend recommended Emily's for donuts. They were delicious. I went a little later in the morning so selection was not as abundant but still good choices. The maple bacon was a first for me and it was delicious. The plain glazed were light and fluffy with a tender chew. Cake donuts were good as well and we tried different flavors and none failed to disappoint. read more
