Solid pizza joint. I got the classic meatball and a calzone. I saw them baking mine and it came out piping hot with dough bubbles which was nice. Had a good and fresh flavor. The crust was like a tavern-style that's thinner but still has a chew. Cooked a little on the crunchy side though. The calzone was slightly overcooked as well and a little dry on the crust. Inside was nice though there was a lot of meat and it was a little overpowering. Overall, enjoyed the food though and is a nice neighborhood option if you're nearby. read more

As a small catering business owner myself , I had high hopes for this place since it's hard to find good Pizza and the guy that was making the pizzas actually had an Italian accent lol....... By the way, he was a super nice guy in person.... The flavor of the pizza is great, unfortunately that's the only good thing I have to say..... Half of one of the pizzas was overcooked and the small smaller pizza that was supposed to have anchovies on it didn't even have one anchovy per slice, after tearing it apart I'm pretty sure I only found four pieces of anchovy in total. I ordered a set of barbecue wings and a set of hot wings And it looked like they were made hours ago, sitting in a warmer somewhere waiting to be sauced, but they didn't even look like they had fresh sauce on them...... Putting my own fresh sauce on them, couldn't even save them enough to try to chew through the dry meat.... I just wanted a partial refund for the wings And I ordered this through the Slice app and was chatting through the Help chat and was told that the owner would not do anything for me that all my food was Made Well lol Unfortunately, I will not be going back to this place and will still be on the search for a good pizza place..... read more

Oh-my-New-York-slice heaven! Perfect crust. Perfect ratio of toppings to pie. Dude has mastered the art of using a conveyor belt pizza oven to put out something that tastes like it came out of a classic deck oven. Emily's has gone wrong. I used the site to order. It says delivering in 20 minutes. I get a text. Delivery in 20-30 minutes track your status on the app. Yay! Ope- Immediately I get another text- we are super busy and bump my delivery to 90 minutes!!! I try to cancel my order. No option. I call. No answer! Now they have my money, my pizza is not delivered and they are not taking my call. Plus, they charge a 'small business fee' on top of the total. To pay for technology- and it obviously does not work. Checked this place out on a whim but glad I did. It's definitely thinner style crust but not the soggy kind and not really crispy either, sort of in between. We got the Sweet and Spicy and the Extreme. The sweet and spicy was good and would be great if you're a pineapple on pizza type of person. The Pepperoni Extreme was amazing! I will for sure be going back for that again. When I went to go pick it up the guy behind the counter was extremely friendly and you could tell he cared about the bistro. Overall, definitely recommend them when you're looking for a good pizza. I want to try some more and one of their big NY Style slices next so look out got an updated review in the future. read more

So you know that pizza chain that used to be at the corner of Custer and McDermott that left? Well now you have a reason to be happy they did people - this place is your new local joint. We ordered the 18" extra pepperoni & cheese. Toppings were plenty. Flavor showed through the sauce. Cheese was melty - like when I grabbed a slice and the cheese followed me off the box. We also ordered a meatball sub and split it up to see if that would be a future lunch option. It will be. The only thing we weren't a fan of was that due to the pepperoni, the pie had alot of pizza grease. I think this will fair differently with that future veggie order. It was rather exciting to order a 30" pizza, lol. We ordered it by phone, he said it would take 20 minutes and by the time we arrived he was taking it out of the oven. We ordered half "TheWorks" and the other half "Veggies" cost approximately $58.00!!! This is the same family that use to own Emily's located at Hedgcoxe and Alma. Find the largest hand made pizza in the area - 30 inches! The GRAND OPENING was today at noon. The website will be up and running later today, until then you call and place an order. Veterans, Police, Fire, and 9-1-1 personnel get 20% off their orders. Four of us put a dent in it because it was that good. Nice thin crust, delicious pizza sauce, just the right amount of toppings. He cuts it into squares, clever! We had 10 squares left, ate it for three days, just as good cold as it was when we brought it home hot. Highly recommend ordering the pizza regardless of it's size. Got a Veggie Special Pizza to go on Yelp. Called the restaurant to check on when to collect the pizza. Went to collect it at the suggested time and it was ready. The three of us made a dent but there's a lot left over. It's cut into squares vs. large regular shaped slices. It was much better than Benny Fierro's in Pittsburgh where they offer a 28" pizza. This place had great reviews so we gave it a shot as we love New York style pizza. Let's start with the good 1) ordering experience was really easy 2) our order was perfect. Nothing was there that shouldn't have been and they left off everything we asked 3) the service was great. Guy for pickup was really nice and we didn't have to wait for the pizza upon arrival. 4) The pizza was hot when we got it home. As for the negatives 1) The crust wasn't great. Too much flop and it really just seems like the dough isn't a high enough hydration level. I'm not going to say it tastes like cardboard but the texture just wasn't right. 2) sauce had no tang. 3) very greasy. I think this really contributed to the flop. 4) this one might be a pro for some people but I think the toppings were a little heavy. It's hard to say that because I'm sure the business feels like they are delivering an excellent value proposition by doing this but it was just a bit heavy on my supreme. My fiancé had a Hawaiian and to be fair, she felt like (and it looked like to me as well) that there was a great topping level. Maybe I would have felt differently if the crust didn't have so much flop but it made it very difficult to eat. It's difficult to be critical because we obviously want this business to succeed especially being new and so close to where we live. I think the product just needs a little tweaking, but in all fairness, that's just to match my preferences which everyone may not share. Please don't sleep on this pizza restaurant. We first noticed this location when my son was invited to a birthday party at the jump location next door.
