This airline is of the best I have ever flown with. Upon boarding the plane we were provided provided escort to our seats in first class, which were actually more like apartments. The first class seats literally have everything you could possibly need for pajamas, toiletries, snacks and entertainment. If there is anything you may need just push the call button or ask and they will do whatever they can to help. Everyone onboard is exceptional in everything they do, especially ensuring you are satisfied and have everything you require. The entertainment offered on board is quite a variety and they keep up to date on tv shows and movies. They also provide flight information in real time and other entertainment options, including music. They do have headphones available as well. The food is order on demand, so instead of setting your dinner order, breakfast order and times, they will share with you the menu's in advance, place your order when you are ready. The dink menu for first class is phenomenal, the vintage scotch and port are two of my favorites. I love to end the evening with a 1964 port. Take your drink to the bar I order to stretch your legs if you like, whatever you are drinking will follow you if you advise staff, business class does not have the same drink menu. The food is exceptionally well prepared and so is the place setting. You will also be asked to schedule your morning shower, I noticed many people not wanting to shower but I have to say there is nothing better at the end of a long flight and no worries of getting cold feet as the bathroom floors are heated for your comfort. You will have 30 minutes to shower total and 5 minutes of water use so watch the timer and turn off in between lathering and rinsing. Once you are ready for bed just ask to have the bed made up and you will be ready to sleep, not everyone uses the pajamas supplied but I find them very comfortable. BEWARE!! My husband was just defrauded from an Emirates employee, at the counter, on 5/9/25, a flight to Maldives. My husband is a green card holder of the US and a citizen of Ghana. He was told falsely that he had to prepay for a visa for $75 and was shown a website where he electronically sent the money. Upon arrival, the Maldivian authorities him he was defrauded! Shame on Emirates for hiring shady individuals! They have since tried to buy Apple products! read more

I flew from Philadelphia to Boston Logan Airport to connect with my flight to Dubai. I was excited because I paid for business class for my flight and I felt satisfied with my choice because we seldom remember that the flight is apart of the trip experience! On my flight going to Dubai was seamless - the flight wasn't full and there was enough room for those in economy to spread out I noticed when I got up to stretch my legs during the flight. The flight attendants were friendly and efficient during the flights going and coming. Going to Dubai - it was an overnight flight - so I tired myself out during the day so I would SLEEP and I did! I got up for bathroom breaks and when I requested water or wine - my requests were met in a speedy fashion. On the way home - well, let's say that I am now ruined from flying economy for the rest of my life! I was upgraded to a first class ticket and had the opportunity to have my own private pod! Yeeeeessss!! It was awesome! Enough said!! The flight home going home was GREAT!! I felt that it was a great way to travel and if I have any future flights that are long - I will be sure to see if Emirates goes there - because I am down with them!! read more

Excellent airline. Excellent service. I flew Business Class from BOS-DXB on a the Boeing 777 and the seat was very comfortable. The lay flat bed was very roomy. They get you a small mattress and nice blanket when you are ready to go to sleep. The food was good...no the best airline food I've had, but good. Great entertainment package...many choices of movies, TV shows, documentaries, music, etc. The business lounge is amazing. Great food buffet, when it's time to board, you board directly from the lounge to the plane. Nice and easy. read more

do you even know where Mauritius is? no problemo cuz Emirates will get you there via Dubai from Boston fastest. and while scary doing a long haul (12hrs) in economy, it was sooooo comfortable. newish planes, legroooom, fab crew, yum food, top movies. I always asked if they could block seat by me, they ALWAYS blocked the row. 5 Stars!!! tip: had most amazing salad at airport terminal McDonalds at 1am $5 (~20 dirham). trivia: Mauritius, ex-British colony, is lush, green island in Indian Ocean. read more

Worst experience...travelled from Washington DC to Delhi. From Washington flight was ok, staff was courteous and booked our luggage properly. Our hand bag got weighted and they find everything ok. We had two hours transit at Dubai airport and every duty free shops were convincing you to shop there , which we avoided. At the gate for Delhi flight things got changed.... the Emirates staff was treating people like their slaves.... the passengers (mostly local workers) were getting harassed. Even they weighted our hand bags again and said it's over weight. I explain all I added my leather jacket only and everything was ok in Washington...why they have issues here, they said we have nothing to do with Washington staff and said I should be sorry...I just gave my credit card to them and got over with problems. It's like no courtesy there and staff is rude and ignorant. I asked for supervisor...who was probably from Bangladesh, was more RUDE then other gave me name Bhibin Babu or misspelled purposely. Inside the plan e seat and flight was congested.... totally different than USA flights. Food was below average. In Dubai at Airport you feel harassed, I am an American but for other Asians they were very Rude and treating them badly. I am an international traveler and do not recommend this Airline and country to anyone. I will report this to US state Department and all other sights. read more

Emirates - Airlines Near Me - Dulles, Virginia

My 20 months old daughter and I were flying from New Delhi To Dubai. The flight got delayed from New Delhi and we missed our connecting flight to Boston. On board the plane from Delhi, we were told a few minutes before landing that the Emirates crew members would be there to assist the passengers with connections. There was nobody there to help with connections. I had to find my own way, go through another security check, even there, when I told one Emirates crew member that I needed to hurry or else I'd miss my flight, she simply pointed me to one of the security check lines. When I finally made it to the gate, it had been closed and what a surprise, there wasn't any staff member there either. I went to their reservations desk and they told me that the flight has already taken off. There were still more than 15 minutes to the departure time and had there been someone helping me with the connection, my daughter and I would have made it to our flight. After waiting for a really long time with other passengers in the line at the reservation desk, when I finally reached a staff member, she told me with a cold face that they already knew that we were going to miss our connection and they would have me take the next flight to Boston which was 6 hours later. I asked if I could get some assistance to rest at the airport since I was travelling alone with a screaming and tired infant, they rejected it. The staff member simply pointed me to a "Child changing room" saying that I could rest there!! These changing rooms, mind you, are toilets with infant changing tables and a wash basin, nothing else!! I never expected such rude behavior from an airline crew member. Also, if they already knew we would have to take the next flight out, why would they make passengers stand in an awfully slow moving line when they could have simply handed over the new boarding passes for the next flight? This would have got easier if the flight were any comfortable. I had a seat on one of the bassinet rows and I asked for a bassinet as soon as I sat down on my seat. I was told that the bassinets were only given after the flight took off. I waited and the airline crew never got back to me on that. They started serving food when I asked for a bassinet again. This time, I had a tray of food on the tiny tray in front of my seat and a sleeping child on my lap. I could hardly move and they said, we cannot get a bassinet right now, you'd have to wait for the food service to be done. I would have waited for over an hour when they finally returned and told me that the bassinet was too small for my daughter and they couldn't give me one due to security restrictions. When I asked how would I eat my food, I was told they they couldn't do anything about it. Isn't the airline crew trained to take care of passengers travelling alone with children, help them out with food etc? Finally, the nice lady sitting next to me came to my help. She held my sleeping child while I finished my meal. I'd go on without eating for the remainder of this 14+ hour long flight. After this horrendous ordeal, when we landed in Boston, I kept waiting for one of my baggage to arrive on the designated baggage claim but when I finally gave up and asked a fellow passenger, they pointed me to the next baggage claim where I finally found my last bag. There were others who were also waiting for their luggage and didn't know where to look for them since generally, all the baggage from one flight usually arrives in one baggage claim!!! Once again, Emirates was not responsible enough to tell the passengers about this. I could have booked my ticket with another airlines for a much cheaper price but I'd heard good things about Emirates. Looks like they started off well but have since drastically deteriorated their service. I've never had such bad experience travelling internationally with any other airlines. I hope Emirates stops taking its customers for granted. read more

This was the BEST flight experience I have ever experienced. My travel time was about 24 hours each way, and already not being a fan of traveling, I was dreading the flight. I was checking in and realized that my flight was upgraded from economy to business class. I can't put into words how amazing it was - I was greeted with a glass of champagne and was treated like royalty. I also was able to sleep because the chairs laid all the way back and were unbelievably comfortable. The flight attendants were also so kind and helpful. Due to our flight taking off late, I missed my connection in Dubai. The Emirates staff were so helpful and put me on a different airline which took me to my destination and I arrived only a couple of hours later than expected. On my way home, I flew economy, which was the best coach flight I've ever taken. The meals were delicious and there were several movie choices. Emirates does it right and I would recommend them to anyone!! read more

Customer service responded to my complaint after 45 days and she/he didn't even read my complaint carefully, but just quote one policy about baggage for my information, but ignored the facts, which I mentioned that: Vietnamese Staffs only asked me to weight my carry on, but not other passengers, who also got carry on and back pack like me. They didn't look at the suspected action that they stopped only me to weight my carry on right after boarding entrance and the way they hid the scale in the corner, behind some posters, and also 5 of them surround me, but face out, so that other passengers couldn't see what their Co-worker was doing, then they asked me to pay for $175 for extra weight. I heard a lot of complaints from friends and family about terrible corruption at Tan Son Nhat airport, about Vietnamese Staffs, but now I witnessed it by my own eyes. These Staffs only target to take advantage on Vietnamese and elderly passengers, who have no English speaking to raise their own complaint. Therefore, I tried to complaint this to Emirates's customer service in order to hope them taking action to protect Vietnamese passengers/victims from this ugly thing, but so disappointed. I need to review this here for your information, all Vietnamese, to be aware when booking at this airline to travel to Vietnam and please raise your concern after being treated badly and unfairly by Vietnamese Staffs at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in order to stop this CORRUPTION! worst experience ever! I wont use this airline again and would advise my friends the same. Staff has least amount of courtesy! I missed my 3rd connecting flight because of shuttle transport and security check delay but no one understood and made me pay too much for no show and behaved really bad! on my way back, third connecting flight was delayed! i had to attend a meeting but i couldnt but emirates staff did not acknowledge even the trouble that all this caused. I had a terrible experience flying with Emirates! I flew from Denver - Boston - Dubai - New Delhi. All my check-in bags were weighed in Denver to make sure that their weights are under the allowed limit but nobody asked me about the carry-on luggage. I was able to board the flights from Denver to Boston and Boston to Dubai without any issues. However, Emirates crew in Dubai suddenly realized that they have a "weight limit" for cabin luggage as well and forced me to pay $100 at the gate in Dubai. Why was my cabin bag not weighed in Denver or Boston? I could have made some weight adjustments in Denver when I had all my luggage with me. In addition to this, the crew at Dubai airport was suggesting me to "solve this problem" by finding another passenger with less baggage and "transfer" some stuff from my bag to his. Is this not a security violation? On one hand, you are enforcing "rules" at the middle of my journey and at the same time, you are giving me ideas on how to break them? Very very disappointed with Emirates! Please make sure that ALL your employees are aware of your policies :( read more
