I have taken my car here since I first started driving in 2006, and they have always been efficient, helpful, and fast. They only provide services for emission testing, so they have the service down perfectly. You can just follow the arrows to pull into the garage, and they will test your emissions without you needing to get out of the car! It costs $39 for a test, and they offer optional services where you can register your car right then and there. The guy who helped me also talked highly of the owner, explaining that he has worked there for 15 years and stays because the owner is so amazing. Two different interactions with two different vehicles where we were told incorrect information and then without even testing the vehicles told they wouldn't pass. We immediately took them to another emissions tester and both passed without a problem. The guy who helped us was condescending, didn't listen to anything we had to say and demonstrated a clear lack of understanding about emissions laws. I'm the queen of waiting until the last minute to get my emissions test and registration completed every year. If you saw me driving around with my 4/21 stickers on my license plate until July, no you didn't. I don't know why I always put it off because Emissions Plus makes this process SO EASY. First of all, this staff is the kindest staff I've ever met. They make the whole process so easy and they are so friendly. I discovered them last year and couldn't believe I had gone anywhere else before. Second of all, it's a drive through, you don't have to go inside anywhere, you just stay in your car as they run the emissions test and voila, after 10 minutes you're on your way. It's also never been terribly busy when I go. I went in the evening during a weekday last week, and had to wait maybe two minutes for the person in front of me to wrap up. They have two drive throughs so they can have multiple people go at the same time. While I was there last week, there was a gentleman in the drive through next to me and one of the employees told me he travels all the way from Centerville every year to get his test done here just because he loves the service so much and because they do a couple other maintenance checks for him as well. That speaks volumes to how amazing their team is. I've referred a couple people here just because it's so simple, the service is incredible, and they get the job done quickly. I don't know why it took me so long to come here. I'll tell you why it's important to go to a dedicated emissions location below but in short, go here for your emissions test. Cindy, Brent, and Jackson are super friendly and knowledgeable in their trade. They get you in and out quickly with their drive thru service. Emissions is $38 as of this writing (June 2022) and the optional $10 to get the sticker if you don't want to wait. As to why you want to go to a dedicated emissions is you don't get upsold on items cause they "fail" your emissions. (Never had that happen myself but the stories are true) No chance of spending extra here. Last month I went to my usual place but I saw they really raised their prices and even with the coupon it was way more than Emissions Plus everyday price. I also had to spend two hours in their non air-conditioned waiting room. I was in and out in under 10 minutes and technically I didn't even have to get out of my car at EP. Overall impression: I'm going to get my emissions/registration done here all the time now. Super fast and efficient. The whole thing took like 6 minutes. And I could see them literally running to service me even though there were no other cars waiting! Very polite and professional. I had absolutely zero complaints. And I literally did nothing but sit in the car. They put the decal on, processed my card, handed me the papers and I was done! To get the decal right then and there it was $10 and so emissions test was about $35 which is pretty standard. And they weren't pushy about getting the decal (you can wait for it in the mail if you prefer) but I just wanted it at the moment and glad I did (totally worth it). read more

The only time your mileage may vary is if you come during a busy time, but for the most part, they're quick to funnel people through. As far as I'm concerned, Emissions Plus is amongst the best. The gent at the front, Brent was very thorough and got me the tags I needed. They added an extra month tag which I didn't ask for, but came in handy. This has got to be the biggest scam artist I've ever met. I had a check engine light on and they didn't even warn or mention 'hey are you sure that you want to go ahead with the test?' You took my money and immediately told me after it was a fail from the jump due to the check engine light being on. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Scam artist.
