The communication was quick and very professional. She gave me several options to choose from (budget-wise) and took all of my inspiration pictures to heart. The cake was ready exactly on time and way cuter than I had hoped for! Not only was it super adorable, it was delicious. I am not a huge fan of red velvet usually (too sweet), but my husband really loves it so that's the flavor we picked. When we cut into the cake, everyone wanted a second piece. It wasn't overly sweet and paired perfectly with the cream cheese inside. I wish that I was able to get a 2nd piece, my husband didn't even get a piece since everyone ate theirs so quickly! I ordered her cake 2 weeks prior due to the fact my cake lady canceled out last minute when I booked her two months in advance due to health concerns..anyways it costed me another $100 more and she misspelled my daughter's name which I had to pay $350 plus delivery fee for another $35.. after cutting into the cake it came out dry and I requested the banana nut flavor. I hardly ever have to make a review on yelp but this time I'm very disappointed.. I did ask her to have cream cheese frosting with the banana walnut cake and she said she's not able to do that because it wouldn't taste good. I mean if your the customer and your paying that much for a cake, you should be able to accommodate to that customer's requests. Yet she said no it wouldn't taste good so she wouldn't do those flavor combinations. Sorry but after today I would not go back here again and hopefully my cake lady's health will get back to normal so she can make more cakes. Plus the details on the bumblebees are rushed.
