Came in around 10:30 ish on a Tuesday 8/4/26 and there were a few customers sitting assuming they waiting for their order. Placed my order on the kiosk. Ordered: Ice Horchata matcha- drink was still warm so it melted the ice quickly Pistachio latte- was good Regular latte- was good Chocolate chip cookie- was good The waiting of my drinks was pretty long of a wait esp when I need my caffeine when it was not even a rush hour. This coffee shop is a 5 min walk from Cal-Train! So convenient if you're in a rush! I love the different esthetics coffee shops give, and this one had a very friendly cozy environment. I'm on my coffee journey! I wouldn't consider myself an expert, but for what is its worth I thought my match horchata was very good I'm on the hunt for good coffee shops and this one made my time there very memorable. I got a postcard of the coffee I purchased and it made my experience one of a kind! I've been putting off re-writing this review for some time because I used to love this place so much, and kept hoping the poor sandwiches were one-offs done by a certain person, but after about a year of issues now, I'm going to have to rewrite my review. I've recommended this place to so many people, so it's a shame that I'm always disappointed with my orders now. And it also looks poorly on me when the same issues happen to people I've recommended this place to. I always order extra bacon ((as did my friend twice now because she gave them a second try based on my (former) love for the place and their sandy's)) and whoever makes the sandwiches now (gosh I miss Andrew) either doesn't add the extra bacon, or slathers it in mayo. See images of how they used to look vs how they look now. I've had to send my husband back for extra bacon on more than one occasion and today it's DRIPPING in mayo when I didn't ask for extra mayo. Amazed that this is the new baseline for mayo. They also didn't give us a straw and we are on the go today (seen of image in car), so now I can't drink my drink. Just happened to find this place when I signed up my son for cooking camp a few doors down. It's a cute little cozy spot that have comfy chairs inside. I tried their matcha horchata and it's an interesting balanced drink. I can taste both the horchata and matcha without it overpowering each other. Had breakfast from this cafe this morning. Ordered a bacon egg and cheese bagel, apple hand pie, banana bread, and an iced hot chocolate. Bagels have been one of my favorite foods since I was a kid, but lately I haven't had a taste for them. This morning I thought a bagel sandwich sounded good, but unfortunately I couldn't eat it. It was my issue, not a problem with the food. The apple hand pie was scrumptious. I liked that it wasn't overly sweet. The iced hot chocolate wasn't great, but that was because I ordered it with half sweetness and it needed more. I'm saving the banana bread for later, but I have a feeling it will be good warmed up. read more

I used to love coming here back when it was Hannah, so I'm not sure if this is due to the management change or the fact that my palate has changed, but I did not like my coffee at all. If you really like milky coffee or just don't really enjoy the taste of coffee, then this is the place for you! I personally enjoy a strong-tasting latte, and this definitely wasn't that. I really couldn't tell that there was any coffee in my latte, it just tasted like milk. I ended up throwing it away because it wasn't enjoyable to me at all. I discovered that the long time owners, who have honored the original Hannah's quality and many of the original items have decided to rename it to Bavetta Coffee, visiting the website will give you their take on the transition. Personally, it seems like the right time to take on the ownership. As a frequent customer, I appreciate the honor they have shown to the brand. You can look back to earlier reviews to see that Hannah's was one of the stable places to come and safely interact with other humans during COVID-19 a psychological life-line the original Hannah executed herself. Drove past this cute cafe when going to Whole Foods and decided to give it a try, and I'm really glad I did!! I checked the menu online and they have these adorable drawings paired with their signature drinks! I really enjoy when a place shows their creative side. I tried the London Fig, everything regular, and my boyfriend got the Dark Arts, everything regular. We both really like our drinks and were instantly like Ooo! after taking a sip. We were visiting the area to see loved ones, and the next day we needed a little pick-me-up for the day. My wife found a few little spots but she was curious to try Bavetta. I am so happy we went there. Entering the spot, it is a welcoming atmosphere. As soon as we entered, we were greeted and the servers were eager to serve. It was our first time so we did ask for recommendations. My wife got a matcha and I got the "A-Aron" for it's popularity and its comedic nostalgia to a Key and Peele skit. We also ordered a few pastries and some breakfast sandwiches. The corner cafe is small but it gives a lot to look at for people like my wife and I. Not only did we leave with food and drink, we picked up some stickers, coffee beans, and lots of photos and ideas. We absolutely enjoyed our time there and the food was amazing. It's the perfect spot to grab a quick breakfast, around the corner from the downtown train station. This place has good reviews, so we dropped in to try it out. We found parking in the front, and it's easy to spot. We were greeted immediately, and the menu isn't humongous. The staff were friendly and fast. I ordered a London Fog & Ray's Breakfast sandwich, he got Chai Latte & Chicken Pesto Panini, both came with Clementines. I was so impressed with how delicious it was. Got their one vegetarian option for takeout, the beautiful veggie sandwich, which tasted really homey and comforting. Lots of veggies, cheese, and egg on whole wheat for a light lunch. This new coffee shop nearby wasn't open so my friend and I decided to detour here! It's small and intimate so it's definitely more for smaller groups or a work/study cafe. Not sure if I just ordered the wrong things, but it was okay. I've had worse, but I've also had better. I ordered one of their specialty drinks, the horchata matcha. I think the horchata base was a bit overpowering so you can't really taste the matcha, but it at least gave me my caffeine kick still. I also ordered the bacon, egg and cheese bagel on an Asiago bagel. This was also okay. Not much bacon and the egg was rubbery like it was premade then reheated. I can't say much about the service since we ordered from a kiosk but they seemed to be working fast and efficient. read more

This place is located conveniently next to the San Jose diridon station. You can literally walk and it takes about 5-7 minutes. I tried the iced pistachio latte (decaf, oat milk) and the plain croissant (warmed) and loved both. The servings are quite generous for the price, paid $16 all up and felt stuffed. The ambiance is really pretty with plants all around. Restrooms are clean and locked behind a combination locked door. Parking was a bit confusing at first, but pretty sure you can park on the street or behind the coffee shop. Overall great place. Staff are really friendly. Great experience at Hannah Coffee! Staff are very friendly and helped us out since we were indecisive. We got the A-A-Ron latte which was absolutely delicious. It had hazelnut and cinnamon and tastes like Christmas in a cup, it's so deliciously creamy!! We also got the green eggs and ham sandwich which was really yummy and had great flavors, and was very filling. Area inside is cozy and small, not a ton of space but there are good size tables to sit and work. The WiFi wasn't working at first but came back, so keep in mind can be finicky. read more

Hmm. I'm kinda perplexed by this one. So, suddenly "Hannah" is called Bavetta Coffee and Hannah is no more. According to the staff these are the same owners since 2021 but they're now putting their mark on the place. I find this really odd as you typically don't mess with a place when it's doing well and has a ton of positive reviews. It's a bit hard to believe I could've sworn I ran into the previous owner a couple years ago. Maybe I'm just getting old. Anyway, I digress. The menu has changed and the hours are now shorter 7-3 NO Longer 7-5. The staff seems fine. But, something is just off. This last visit I came in around 2:45 and didn't get greeted and folks were sorta cleaning up around me. I guess they didn't want to engage because it was almost closing time (which I didn't know since their hours changed). So, I ordered from the iPad and waited for my cup. I couldn't find a lid but the young lady in the back couldn't hear me ask because she was washing some dishes. All good, I poked around and found a lid on the backside of the display thingy. Dunno, this place just has like zero appeal right now. I can make coffee at home, I come in for a $5 brew to have a little sense of community and say, "sup" maybe my elder millennial is showing and no one cares. I'll be taking my business to Voyager on the regular. Folks there exchange pleasantries and the vibe is immaculate. Also, not a huge fan of the "refresh" in the coffee shop. I like the lower tables compared to the high tops but the whole place is a bit sterile. Three stars because the coffee was solid and maybe just maybe I'm just mourning what's no more. read more

I've been getting delivery from here for the past few months and every item has been a 5/5 every time. My go-tos are: - A A Ron Latte, iced - The white chocolate, hazelnut, and cinnamon flavors blend together perfectly but you can still distinctly taste all three along with the espresso. It also doesn't have any weird aftertastes from the white chocolate or hazelnut syrup, which is an issue I've run into at other coffee places. - London Fog, iced with raspberry cold foam - It's surprisingly hard to find a coffee place that does London Fogs well, especially iced, but this is definitely one of them. The earl grey tea is super strong, and it's complemented by a good amount of vanilla syrup. Also, no weird aftertaste from the vanilla or raspberry. - Mr. Sunshine sandwich, replace the bacon with avocado - This is simple, healthy, and delicious, plus it comes with a little mandarin. I especially love the 9-grain bread that they use because it reminds me of the brown bread from Cheesecake Factory. While I could make something like this at home, I don't always have the time, energy, or ingredients on hand, so I love that I can still get a healthy lunch with my daily caffeine. Found this coffee shop while driving around the area. I tried the A-A-Ron drink with oatmilk. It was the perfect amount of sweetness. You can definitely taste the hints of hazelnut which I personally love. I'm not usually a fan of cinnamon powder in my coffee, but it paired well with the drink and I didn't mind it at all! Cute little coffee shop in Downtown San Jose! The shop itself is a small with a few tables for seating. They have a tablet where you can order if the baristas are busy working on orders which is nice. I tried their seasonal pumpkin spice latte, which was nice and spicy. I liked that I could taste a subtle pumpkin flavor as well and not just the spices. I also tried the A-a-ron latte - the full sweetness was a little too sweet for me, but I thought half sweet tasted really good. It reminds me of cinnamon toast crunch in a drink! The two times I visited, the service was quite slow, so I'd just bear that in mind when visiting that it can take some time for the order and to be patient. read more

Huge disappointment. Based on the other reviews i came it with high expectations. They no longer have smoothies the coffee is super weak and lacks the espresso shots that I want the sandwiches were dry and lacked flavor. We ordered the A-A-Ron, the hazelnut latte, the BALT, and another sandwich that had sausage and some other meat. Both were nothing to rave about. I make better sandwiches at home and better drinks with my nespresso. Honestly the only reason I gave 3 stars was because they had high chairs for my daughter and the place was clean. The service was okay and our order came out fine n a reasonable amount of time. Not worth the price and I honestly don't know how this place is so highly rated. I re-downloaded this app just to put this review up because it was so bad, I hope it helps others avoid a disappointing and money wasting experience. Treat yourself by going ANYWHERE else. Wasn't greeted upon entering, each of the six employees made eye contact & NONE engaged me, I was treated like an outcast, and I really did not appreciate the mean girl experience. The male employees seem to also stare. Outdoor tables and condiment station were dirty. Only one employee was making drinks, making the wait in the awkward ambiance seem even longer. 10 cafe options within a 1/4 mile radius (Starbucks, Peet's, WholeFoods, and a lot of small shops). I came a bit late so I was unable to get a sandwich, but I did manage to get my hands on a A-A-Ron latte. The worker was friendly and there was a nice atmosphere for working and studying, though I came at a slightly later time so some of the stools were already on tables I found the latte to be refreshing, it had a nice blend of sweetness and coffee and hit the spot on a hot summer day. The cinnamon was a nice touch, which I would say was probably the strongest part of. Overall it was a fairly pleasant experience, and I would be willing to return at an earlier time on a different day so I can get the full experience. read more

I didn't think the sandwich is anything spectacular but my boyfriend loved it. I wanted to try the latte iced but didn't realize that I forgot to request it iced so they automatically made it hot. It was ok, I thought it was a tad sweet. You can order it via their website, their kiosk, or at the register. Staff were not very friendly as no one said anything when we walked in, but maybe perhaps it was too early? I'm not sure. There's a couple of tables outside, and a few inside.
