Bundtinis - lemon raspberry (left) & confetti (right)
    Lloyd C.

Recently, I've had a chance to try out Nothing Bundt Cakes again. I had a chance to try out a couple of flavors of their Bundtinis. *Confetti: A classic birthday cake with colorful and festive sprinkles baked in. The white cake was moist and flavorful, along with the icing. *Lemon Raspberry Cakes: refreshing lemon cake hand-swirled with bright raspberry puree. This is a fabulous flavor! My favorite between the two. Support your local business.

I've been coming here for years since before the pandemic when they used to give out large samples that were so good if only they would bring that back. Had a bundt cake at a family event and it was so delicious. I like the large ones over the mini ones but the mini ones are good that people can grab like cupcakes. The prices aren't bad compared to other places. They also give you a free mini cake on ur birthday if you sign up for emails but make sure you choose the right location because they won't accept it at any location, I've made that mistake before!

I ordered a box of the "bundtinis" for myself and some coworkers the other day, and we were pretty happy with them. They looked nice, had a nice assortment of flavors, and were pretty tasty. A great option in the area for a special occasion dessert.

This review is in terms for their new spring seasonal flavor the lemon blueberry bunt cake. I came in and there was a line, so even though I preordered for pickup on my app I had to wait a few to be helped since there was only one person ringing up and getting orders together in the front. I always stick to my tried and true raspberry or carrot cake, but I do like them offering seasonal mix ins to give variety and a change up. The cake to icing ratio I feel like is almost perfect. I've seen there's an option on the app to pay .50 for extra icing, but in my opinion it would overpower the cake and be sickly sweet. I've never had a bunt cake flavor here that too dry and really needs extra frosting to help that. I feel like the mini bundles is the perfect size and amount for a single serving for a sweet treat.

My all-time favorite flavor is the carrot cake Bundt with their classic cream cheese frosting. These little mini bunts are perfect for birthday gifts or if you wanna treat yourself a little sweet treat. Depending on the season, I notice sometimes they have one special seasonal flavor to offer in addition to their classic flavors that never rotate out. Some of the flavors are better than others, but I've never had one that was awful. My top three are probably the white chocolate raspberry, carrot cake, and red velvet. I've noticed some are sweeter than others as well. I think that the amount of frosting on each one of these are perfect because anything more would be too much. They often have Bogo deals so I'd recommend downloading their app and joining their rewards program.

This place does not open on time. I waited for 30 mins. Called multiple times but the door was closed. The sign says OPEN and it should open at 9 am per their own front sign but it is shut. So call ahead of time and check if you are coming here otherwise it's a waste of time.

Yesterday evening was my first time at Nothing Bundt Cakes. We had a bogo bundtlet for signing up on their app. The store inside was absolutely adorable. The lady behind the counter was friendly and polite. And the cakes were really yummy. Would recommend!

On 4/10/2024 Came here for a nice little treat and got two Bundtlets ($6.5 each): one confetti and one red velvet. They are quite pricy for a single small cake, but the average price for any in the bay is ~$5. I love the frosting, wished I had more, and my confetti cake was moist. My friend said that her red velvet cake was dry but the frosting was good. The outside definitely needs some help. Tried to take a pic with the store name, but it was so bad that I chose the side wall pic. The interior was nice, and welcoming, and had lots of cute little cups to buy. I like how they have some bundt cakes in the glass fridge to showcase but... the big ones were Wrapped in plastic. Doesn't that stick to the frosting?? Anyway, definitely a pleasant dessert to treat yourself to.

Got the Oreo small bundt cake. I don't like the buttercream but the cake itself is good. Definitely not healthy they dont have any spoons or forks which is weird but they told me we dont have dine in thats the reason we dont have cutlery which makes sense but also doesnt.

I ordered online a cake and it was ready promptly at the time I requested. Pick up was easy and cake was perfect. We ordered our favorite one lemon. And it wasn't no disappointment. Store has different kind of cake toppers for different ocassion. Everything looks clean and well organized.

I showed them my email & ID they verify it always.... Asked which flavor..?? My favorite choice here is always white chocolate with raspberry... packed neatly & Baam !!! I was out of the store within 5 mins.... It's always a pleasure coming here I have never had a bad service here ... I always get great service here!!!

Parking is plentiful in the parking lot. Staff were cordial and wore aprons with some letters that were falling off...seemed weird. Opted for the matcha millefeuille and it was excellent! The place was situated in a quiet plaza just outside of Lawrence Expressway. There's ample parking but it doesn't feel like the location is suitable for a cafe where you can picture sitting inside looking through some big windows facing a busy pedestrian walkway. However, once I stepped inside, I was surprised at how zen and peaceful the decorations were and how fitting it was for a cozy and quiet cafe hangout. The cake shelf was surprisingly busy. And this is where I took one star out because the lines were confusing and the staff skipped me to talk to the group behind me while I was clearly the next to be helped. Luckily another staff member came out from the back kitchen and jumped in to help. The staff spoke fluent mandarin. I was interested in their box cakes. A few of the yelpers raved about their soy milk cake and luckily they had one out for sampling. It was covered with lots of cream and the cake layer was soft and moist, but it was still slightly too sweet for me and I felt that it lacked the tofu kind of soy flavor. Then, I spotted on their menu that they have a black sesame matcha box cake, and black sesame is always my favorite, so I asked for it. They had the last one left! The staff said she had never tried it so she couldn't tell me if it is less sweet than the soy milk cake. Since it was the last one available and I already sampled the soy cake, I decided to give it a try. I am happy that I did. The cake was filled with matcha mousse and tasted light and aromatic with the jasmine kind of matcha flavor. It is definitely less sweet. Unfortunately, it doesn't have as much black sesame as I'd like. But overall, the cake flavor is the kind that I like, subtle, moist, and not too sweet. $38 for a box cake of 4x4 is a bit pricey, but I'm glad that I gave it a try. The cakes were freshly made and tasted best the same day of purchase. They also recommend refrigerating the cake and consuming it within a day or two.

Don't sleep on the black pepper sausage danish: the croissant dough is crisp and flaky, and doesn't get soggy when baked around the sausage. It's comparable in execution to the Croissant Hot Dog served at Dominique Ansel Las Vegas (in Caesar's Palace), but at a way more accessible price point. Which isn't to say this place is cheap; like many artisanal bakeries in California, it comes with a premium price tag, but at least it's not Dominique Ansel pricy. Croissante's croissant dough baked goods (viennoiserie) is pun-intended "proof" that you get what you pay for. The dining space is limited and lively. Conversing is a little tough, but if you just need a place to sit while eating, it's just right. Extra special shout out this time to Dill who had informed me the fried chicken dishes today would be an hour and a half wait. After deciding there wasn't anything I wanted more than the Fried Chicken and Spiced Croffle (croissant dough baked in a waffle iron) and was happy to wait, they were nice enough to check in with the kitchen and see if it could be made sooner than that. I didn't expect to be accommodated, so I was happy they were able to do that. You get two chicken thighs and croffles per order. It's enough for two light eaters to share.

It had a nice creama layer and a well balanced flavor. Not too acidic or bitter. I got the french onion soup, labeled as a popular item/staple of the bakery. It is quite a lot of soup, I wish it came with a side of bread/sourdough as towards the end it was all soup and nothing to contrast it. It was nicely broiled at the top with some small pieces of bread and a healthy layer of cheese that made it so exciting to eat. Even the crust of the bread had some crunch although fully soaked. The bakery has wifi which is really handy since I think reception in that area wasn't the best. Wifi password is displayed at the register. I will come back to try the sandwiches!

I usually get the same item at Basquia Bakery: Korokke, a Korean style fried bread with a crispy panko exterior, filled with savory mash potatoes. For $3, it's a good deal for a snack. Some of Basquia Bakery's baked goods are not labeled so I would have totally overlooked their Korean mochi bread if it weren't for TikTok. Last fall, Korean sweet potato mochi bread (goguma ppang) went viral. For months, the commercial frozen ones were sold out at Korean markets. Can we talk about how adorable these are?! The mochi bread is shaped based on their flavors. The mochi "bread" is mochi with a chewy exterior filled with a mashed filling. This is my personal preference but I like mochi that has more of an elastic, bouncy QQ chew which this didn't quite have. The texture did improve after air-frying the leftovers. Flavors: * Sweet Potato // 4 stars Looks and tastes exactly like the real deal with sweet, fluffy mashed interior but hits different with the slight gelatinous chew. Tip: Eat this with kimchi. It's adds a delicious tang and heat to contrast the natural sweetness. * Corn // 4 stars Enjoyed the creamy corn filling with kernels for texture. * Potato // 4 stars Savory, creamy mashed potatoes. I wanted to pair this with a steak. Lol. * Chestnut // 4 stars I love roasted chestnut but this has cinnamony, chocolatey notes from the dusting of cocoa powder + cinnamon. There were chunks of roasted chestnut. * Kabocha // 3 stars Again, tasted like the real deal but too sweet for me. Overall, glad I tried this cute novelty at Basquia Bakery. I'm now convinced to buy a bag of the commercial frozen ones, yanno for taste test comparison purposes. ;)

It is a bit too sweet for me but if you like a drink with a fragrant aroma, go for it! The Borek and Menemen were both amazing. We got the beef Borek, it was nice and crispy. The bread that came with the Menemen was so good that I'd go back to get that bread to-go to make sandwiches. It had a very nice smell from the sesame and cumin(I think?) on top. Overall definitely coming back to try things I didn't get to

Nahita Bakery operates a humble storefront with large glass display cases showing off their delicious baked goods, fried pastries, and stewed meats and vegetables. As a first timer, it was a feast for hungry eyes! We came in on a weekday afternoon and were hankering for a snack before dinner. The staff welcomed us in and gave us a quick introduction to their offerings. My mouth was already salivating at the sight of the golden brown pastries and at the mention of olives and cheese, I was committed! We ended up getting a coupe of their items including achmas (pastry made with sweetened dough) and pogaca (pastry made with buttery dough) - one filled with olives and one with the feta cheese. We also got a borek (pastry made with phyllo dough) with ground beef and asked to be cut up so it can be shareable. The olive achma was fragrant and soft when torn into. The olives were flavorful and distributed well within the bun. The feta cheese pogaca was flavorful and was layered into bun. I think it would have tasted even better warmed but it was delicious nonetheless. The distribution of the cheese could have been better to better fill my mouth with those flavors. The borek was a star but too heavy for one person to eat. The fried dough was crispy and paired with the ground beef made for a hearty snack to go with something warm to drink. The other pastries and entrees looked good and although we didn't have the stomach space for it this time, we know we will be back when we are in the area to try something new. Perhaps we will get to try their coffee next time! Overall, Nahita Bakery does an amazing job bringing their Turkish culture through food to the South Bay. Their quality of work is shown in the food's presentation, ingredients, and flavors and the clean open dining space elevates the dining experience here whether you're in for breakfast, lunch, a snack, or dinner. Their large parking lot shared by other small businesses is fantastic for those looking to get in and out on some errands. If you haven't had a chance to try some Turkish pastries, you are in for a treat at Nahita Bakery!
