I wanted to love this plac so I came back for a second chance, did my homework, had meatballs on the brain, only to find out they don't serve sandwiches on Saturday. I don't know what Italian rule I missed, but okay. I pivoted to the arancini. The service was the bigger issue. I arrived at an off-peak time, was seated, and then spent the next hour feeling essentially invisible. Both tables beside me got their bread service before me, both got their orders taken and food delivered before me, both got checked on by the manager who made the rounds and somehow skipped right over me. And a table of eight who came in after all of us got eight individual pizzas before all of us!!! All were offered dessert. I was asked if I wanted a to-go cup of tea lol. The food itself was mixed. The arancini were over-breaded and the filling was bland but the marinara dipping sauce was genuinely outstanding. I kept eating the sad little balls just to get more of it. The roasted red pepper soup was decent tomato soup. Just tomato soup. The bright spots are real but being a solo diner shouldn't mean being an afterthought. We recently went back to Emma Elle's Italian Kitchen in Yukon after remembering how much we enjoyed previous visits. Unfortunately, this experience didn't quite meet the expectations we had built from the past. The Alfredo seemed very bland and runny compared to the rich, creamy flavor we were used to, and the pepperoni pizza came out soggy and difficult to eat because it wouldn't hold together. That said, we know restaurants can have off days, and because we've had great experiences here before, we're willing to give them another try in the future. We truly hope this was just an off visit because we'd love to see the quality return to what originally made this place stand out for us. read more

Don't. Just don't. Food, is okay, but not worth the price. If you want to spend that kind of money with guaranteed excellent food, go to the Cheesecake Factory. This is a gitchy restaurant trying to be upscale. Unfortunately, for me it was a total fail. $20+ per plate and it sounds like a cafeteria in here with Cava furnishings. If you do go, don't get the meatballs. I have never had puréed dog food, but I'm assuming that's what it tastes like. the spaghetti sauce tasted like tomatoes and sugar with no other seasoning. Not good. They nicely replaced my meal with chicken fettuccine. The sauce was good, noodles were good, chicken was super thin like the sliced it thin frozen, instead of pounding it for tenderness. It was extremely dry. My bf had the nachos, which were fried won ton wrappers covered in Alfredo sauce. He gave it a 5 out of 10. read more

Went here during non peak hours so the place was practically empty and there were only us and a couple that has been there since we arrived. Food was superb and they were able to accommodate our request for our chicken on the chicken parmigiana to be grilled instead of fried. Their pizza was amazing. Ambiance is definitely the best. Just entering the place gives very good vibes and their bathrooms were clean. Would've been a five star if they only sat us away from the couple instead of sitting us right next to them when the restaurant was practically empty and sat us on a slightly bigger table since we had a baby along with us. read more

The food was the star. The pasta was cooked like I like it and the sauce was extremely good. We also ordered the appetizer of fried mozzarella cheese cubes and they were outstanding. A lot more than I expected. The side salad was also almost a meal in itself. The downside was it was extremely loud in the restaurant. Doesn't seem to be anything in there to try to reduce the noise. I've had my eye on this one for a while and finally had the right time to try it out. I liked how open it was inside, the big glass windows and how you could see the pizza oven. Those kinds of ovens make a huge difference! My pizza was good but was lacking a little bit of flavor. All in all, good place with good food. read more

I surprised my mom on her birthday with dinner at Emma Elle's. It was so much fun! I had the bolognese pasta, which itself was fantastic. They have complimentary bread and a tasteful house olive oil with their own seasonal blend. Our servers were helpful and answered any and all questions about the menu. Our group tends to ask for suggestions and we were happy they were kind, courteous, and patient. I prefer the layout. It is open and accommodating to both small and large groups. First the good news. I liked the ambiance when we first walked into the restaurant. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. There were six people in our party. Now the bad news. I ordered Mama's Lasagna. There were layers of noodles and two layers of meat. However, there was no discernable cheese. I brought this to the attention of our server and when she came back to our table, she said she told the chef of my concern. She said something about the lasagna being made in the morning and ultimately threw up her hands and said she did not make the lasagna. I expected to be offered a choice of another entree and at a minimum have my dinner taken off the check. Neither of those options happened. I didn't want to make a scene in front of my family, so I didn't pursue my concerns. That was a mistake on my part. I should have asked to talk to the manager. Also, and this is just a matter of my taste; I found the sauce to be too thick and too sweet. read more

My first visit here and I was not disappointed! This has been on my radar for sometime and I'm glad I had a chance to give it a try. This was a very nice, relaxing atmosphere!! We decided to make reservations just in case but we showed 30 minutes early. We were quickly seated and then greeted by a wonderful server. Zoe was a great server with a wonderful disposition. We decided on Calamari as our appetizer. I tried last week from another Italian restaurant and this was night & day! This Calamari was well seasoned and not over cooked. We were also served with complimentary bread w/Balsamic & Oil! The flavor of this Balsamic was incredible! My wife never liked this combo but this one was made with a 10 year aged balsamic and was sweeter than a typical bottled version. The menu was not very large and to me that means what's on the menu is done well! I chose the Spaghetti & Meatballs which is pretty basic and I found it worthy! The meatballs were made Nichiyobi-Waygu which I thought were quite good! The sauce wasn't anything special but I thought it was good with the spaghetti noodles. My wife chose the Chicken Parmesan which I thought was really good!! I might even have to try that on another visit. The owner stopped by our table and we visited for a short while discussing the balsamic vinegar, salad dressing (which they make in house), and their Tuesday Pizza specials. I'll be back before the end of the year to try the pizza! Sadly we didn't leave room for dessert . . . guess that saved for the next visit! We visited on a Saturday night and made reservations--which I highly recommend if you plan to go because there were people waiting quite a while to be seated. We had heard mixed reviews but this was a good sign, right? Our server was friendly and attentive, even though she was covering a lot of tables in the bright, modern dining room. The open kitchen with the giant brick oven added to the ambiance. We started with the complimentary bread service, pizza dough topped with herbs and Parmesan served with a plate of herbed olive oil & balsamic--very good! We ordered the bruschetta, with a balsamic glaze that was amazing but the mozzarella was hard and just fell off the bread-- a softer cheese would have made this perfect. We also ordered the arancini--delicious crispy and creamy little bites served with a fresh and bright tomato sauce, topped with a dab of garlic aioli. For our mains we ordered the spicy bolognese--our server warned us of the spice level but it wasn't overly spicy. The pork sausage was awesome and it was great topped with fresh grated Parmesan. We also ordered the penne alla vodka plus chicken which was problematic. The penne was overcooked and under seasoned, swimming in too much vodka sauce, though the sauce had a nice spicy bite. The grilled chicken was dry and tasted frozen, but I made the most of it by eating the chicken with the sauce and avoiding the noodles. We got dessert to go--chocolate cake that is dark and fudgy, with a side of berries and the oatmeal cookie sandwich that was amazing--a generous layer of buttercream between two thick and tasty cookies, so good! Tried this place and I am dying to go back. We tried so many appetizers and entrees plus desserts! Everything was phenomenal and nothing to complain about. I decided to go here for my birthday and it did not disappoint! I got the chicken Alfredo and it was absolutely amazing! The Alfredo sauce had just the right amount of garlic and cheese flavor. Service was top notch as well. Husband got pizza and said it was one of the best he had! It is such a cute place inside but very small! Delivery experience- Decided to order some Italian food and heard about this place with good ratings so tried it and it was pretty good. We ordered the pepperoni pizza and the lasagna. First the pizza was pretty good. Wood fired pizza, the crust was chewy and had a bit of charred to it and loved it. It comes with the Serrano infused honey but decided to leave it off. The only downfall was it was a bit too salty for me. The lasagna was pretty good too. Great flavor, saucy and good amount of meat. I would say the prices are bit pricey. I've been trying to get back to Emma Elle's since my first visit, but it's super far from my house which keeps me from visiting often! I opted for take out this time because I wasn't dressed appropriately to dine in. The process was seamless until I noticed my wait to get a text to let me know when my food was ready had gone about 10-15 mins after the time I was quoted. Luckily, I was already at the restaurant waiting for the text and I decided to go in. The lady at the counter told me that their text feature sometimes doesn't work and that my food had been ready! That left a bit of sour taste in my mouth considering they told me about the feature when placing my order, but didn't think to mention that it may or may not work! Just moved back to Oklahoma after a decade, and we've been wanting to sample many of the new food places that have popped up since we've been gone. Instagram tempted us to Emma Elle's, and it is a TRUE GEM. As for the meal: Beverages: we started with a craft beer for the hubby and wine for me. I couldn't decide between two and was graciously offered samples so I could choose. Meal: The complimentary Parmesan bread was set the tone, and everything from our appetizer (Arancini), to the entreès (Chicken Parm/Lasagna), were delicious! Their houseware red sauce is spot on. It's SO hard to find a red sauce that balances the acidity without being sweet. (chef's kiss) My hubby is a Lasagna connoisseur, and "Mama's Lasagna", which is "baked to order", and it topped his list for favorite lasagnas. He especially loved the thick "artisan pasta" noodles and sauce. Dessert: We capped off the evening with the Italian Cream Cake (drool)! I have a massive sweet tooth, but the hubby not so much. We split the cake and it hit the spot for BOTH of us. Super moist, and just sweet enough to round out the meal without being overly rich or heavy. Service: Our service, it was TOP NOTCH, even on a busy Saturday night. Our server Delaney was a master class in service, and the owner Cameron even paid us a visit and made time for a lovely chat during the dinner rush.
