For context, this was a 4-hour deep clean for my one bedroom apartment that included baseboards, organizing, and even laundry. I have a shihpoo who demands a lot of attention, so keeping up with deep cleaning can sometimes get away from me. When I say they saved my life, I'm not exaggerating. Kizzy and Alice absolutely delivered. They cleaned my apartment top to bottom. Baseboards, surfaces, floors, everything. They even did my laundry which was such a huge help. I stepped out to run errands while they worked and came back about four hours later to an apartment that felt completely reset. The space looked amazing and felt so much lighter. Beyond the quality of the cleaning, they were also just lovely people. Polite, helpful, respectful of my space, and they even gave my dog some love while they were here. The cleaning crew arrived at 9:00 a.m., and by 1:00 p.m. they informed me that only about 50% of the home had been completed and that they needed an additional $600 to finish the job. What made the situation even more frustrating was that I was effectively left with no choice. At that point, half of the house had already been cleaned, leaving me to either pay the additional $600 or have the company walk away with the job unfinished. As the owner of a property management company, I found this business practice extremely concerning and unprofessional. If the scope of work was underestimated, that should have been identified before the work began, not after the customer is already committed. In my opinion, this pricing approach feels misleading and unethical. I would strongly encourage others to get all pricing and expectations in writing before hiring this company.

What confused me even more was receiving a message at 5:42 PM asking me to call back to confirm my booking, when their listed office hours are 8-5. By then, no one was available to take my call or respond through Yelp because it was already past their office hours. Their AI chat is actually pretty cool and responsive, but unfortunately that was pretty much the only consistent communication I had with the company. For a house cleaning service where you're scheduling people to come into your home, I personally need clearer communication with an actual person, especially when the appointment date and time keep changing. The kitchen and bathrooms needed some extra attention, but the rest only required basic cleaning. We have had this apartment cleaned many times before, and it normally takes around 2-3 hours, so we scheduled 3 hours this time. After almost 3 hours, the cleaners had not even completed half of the work. I was honestly shocked by how slowly they were working. What was even more surprising was that they themselves said they needed around 5 hours to finish. They initially recommended 4 hours, but based on their progress, it was clear that even 4 hours would likely not be enough. I was not willing to keep paying for several additional hours when the apartment was already relatively clean and the work was progressing at such a slow pace, so I ended the service after the original 3 hours. I understand that cleaning time can vary, but needing around 5 hours for a 1,500 sq. ft. apartment that had already been lightly cleaned by the tenants was completely unreasonable based on our previous experience.
