Okay I wish 10 stars was an option!!! This is my favorite place on earth i'm literally obsessed with my lashes every time I leave. I can't even begin to describe how relaxing and gentle it is. Take it from me that I am very sensitive with my eyes being touched but when I tell you that you don't feel a thing I mean it!! I went here for the first time yesterday. The one good thing was that I was able to book online, for that day. The receptionist was extremely friendly and made me feel welcome. When arriving i immediately noticed that the space was dirty. There were q-tips and trash on the floor. The carpet looked like it hadn't been vacuumed....maybe ever. the tech was late for our appointment, which is extra annoying because its not like another appt. ran late, she just did't arrive on time. The lash lift itself was fine, I don't feel like it made much a difference for the amount of money it cost. Also when paying I had to venmo the tech a tip- I found this to be very weird, especially since the name one venmo was not the name she was using at work. Overall I was unimpressed, and will not be back. read more

I am updating my review as the lash bar has contacted me and made arrangements to fix this issue. Giving them 5 stars for being able to take feedback, accommodating and resolving client issues on a timely manner. Reposting from my google review so that Yelp can see as well. I decided to try out this lash spa due to my usual place being fully booked and also because I read the good reviews. my lash artist was sweet and nice to talk to, she did come off as a little unprofessional (she said she needed to make a quick phone call while I was already laying on the bed and did it there, didn't go into the break room to make it) just saying it's unprofessional because I'm an esthetician too, I work at a spa and I would not do that in front of a client, but I guess they do things differently at emme lash bar. To be honest, I wasn't satisfied with the end results of my lashes, I was surprised because there are so many good reviews of the lash artist who did my lashes. They just looked messy, and I noticed I had a few lashes with no lash extensions attached to them. I did not say anything to the lash artist at end of appt because she was already running late for her next client, she ran late for me too but I understand this does happen at times. The lashes looked like they were applied because she was rushing, they didn't look as full as they usually look when I get an hour fill, I know she had to remove some lashes, but there were so many lashes that still didn't have an extension attached... so... then I had tried two times today to contact the lash bar about the recent appt I had, through venmo and their website, someone responded through text message and asked what I needed help with but never responded back once I told them of my situation. I was trying to be nice about it but I just find it very frustrating at the lack of customer service. I understand it's Sunday and perhaps there's not a front desk to help out because when I came in today, there was nobody at the desk and the lash girls were checking out their clients.. so if that's the case.. how does this spa even run their business... on... a Sunday... if no front desk is there to help out clients? Because a potential client came in while I was waiting to inquire about services and no front desk, so all the lash artist said was "look on a website" lol I'm not sure if I'll be returning here, but this is my experience and hopefully others will have a better experience than me. read more

I've been coming to Emme Lash for some time now and seeing Shayla for lash extensions. Shayla is excellent at what she does. My lashes always look even, full, and long...lasting upwards of 3 weeks. Shayla always makes me feel comfortable, offers advice on what she think would look best for me, and overall does a job well worth the price! Amazing eye lash extensions! I was nervous to try because I wanted a natural look and now I love them and can't imagine not having them. Ahnny and Shayla are both great! They will listen to what you want and give you exactly that. The service also took much shorter than I thought--just about 45 min when I got a full set the other day. I spend so much less time on makeup now and love the way my eyes look. The natural volume lashes have lasted me for 6 weeks and I was still getting compliments on them. The space is clean, peaceful, and relaxing. All the staff members are welcoming and super accommodating! Would highly recommend for first time eyelash extensions or regulars! read more

I have gotten lash extensions at another place close by in the past and had an amazing experience. With all the amazing reviews I expected that from here. My lash artist was kind and knew what I wanted in the beginning, and I thought things were going well until the end. When she removed the tape from my eyes I could not open my eyes. She attached glue/lashes to my bottom eyelashes by accident which caused them to stick to my top eyelashes. She spent at least 20 minutes trying to unstick them, and it was incredibly painful. I paid and rushed out because I didn't even know what to do, my eyes were still in pain and I could tell she was not running late for her next appointment. My eyes continued to feel sticky and would stick together for the next two day. I got home and looked at them and they definitely were not perfect. Some lashes did not have a lash attached to them and others were all stuck together. Within a week almost all my lashes are gone even though I have taken care of them like I am supposed to. The place I went prior lasted at least 2-3 weeks looking great. They are not falling out in the natural cycle of my eyelashes like they are supposed to, they just break off. Although I only paid 99$ for the new client special, I am so disappointed. read more

I went to Ahnnie (the owner) at Emme Lash every 2-3 weeks for about 9 months. The work itself was adequate; not bad but not notably better than anywhere else. The location was convenient for me which I really liked. The customer service has ALWAYS been bad and has finally driven me away for good. In my experiences with Emme Lash, I've had chronically cancelled appointments, 20+ min late start times to an appointment (then rushed and did my lashes in 30 minutes) and most recently was told that I would be charged an extra $30 for a 3 week fill because I was "2 weeks and 4 days", but had I been "2 weeks and 3 days" it would be the regular 2 week full price. I don't wear makeup and my lashes were fully intact with minimal loss, so this was simply an undeniably greedy move on their part. Instead of the client retention of someone who always comes back, is respectful of the staff's time, and always tips 20%... they lost me based on poor business practices. All set with this nonsense. read more

I originally had an eye lash tint there that was wasn't quite as noticeable as I would have liked and the owner, Annie, was so responsive via FB messager and was able to redo the service with far better results. She also informed me that there are different colors they tint with based on the desire effect and that some people's lashes just need a bit longer time to absorb the dye - an informed consumer is a better consumer and I appreciated the info. Annie is incredibly professional and meticulous and I will absolutely be back! read more

Amazing! It was my first time getting my lashes done and I didn't know what would best suit me. Anhi did an amazing job with the natural look. I felt so pretty afterwards. They lasted about 2-3 weeks. I loved them so much I came back again and got a more voluminous set which i fell in love with. I tried getting a refill elsewhere when I was out of state and it just felt like nothing was done. I felt like the quality at the other places just weren't as good. I needed to get a fill so I made an appointment at Emme lash bar. I ended up being charged $100 for a lash fill and they fell out in less than 24 hours. They gave me a complimentary correction which was nice.. but after that they still didn't last more than a week. I am very disappointed in this service and don't think it's worth your $$ read more

Let me open with I love this place, but there is a reason I am not YET giving it 5 STARS. Once my one issue is solved I will be CERTAIN to update. Until then please read my review/lash story and think about heading to Emme Lash Bar. I am definitely a fan of Emme Lash Bar! I first started with getting the "lash lift" in a salon in Norwood. However, I guess I have very "heavy & thick" lashes because they did not stay curled for more than 3 days!! So I stopped wasting my $ there. Then, a mutual friends cousin began doing extensions. I looked for into it, saw her clients before and afters and trusted her to do a full set for me. I absolutely loved going to her but 1 I had to travel from Norwood to Wakefield and 2 towards the end of my time as her client she had made my lashes to fake looking and I even got some kind of irritation in my left eye. It got so red and irritated, this is when I went online and found out about Emme Lash Bar. I called and spoke with Ahnny. She told me to come down in and hour and she would check out my eye. (I was worried it was infected for something). 1. Ahnny doesn't typically work on Sunday's but she stayed and waited to check out my eye for me 2. She explained how "stiff" my lashes were and how much glue my prior girl was using. 3. She was able to separate some of the lashes removing some of the glue to give me some relief. Ahnny was so professional the whole time I was there. She NEVER "downed" my prior lash girl or said anything bad just simply explained that there are different techniques. After that I let that set of lashes grow out and decided to get a full set from Emme Lash Bar. BEST decision ever. My lashes look REAL, they are NOT stiff, and I always get complements on them. Booking appointments are easy. There are also SO many different lash options offered and I am certain Ahnny will take the time to find what you are looking for. I also want to give a shout out to Christine because I was leaving for a bachelorette party in April and I came in and my left eye practically had no lashes left... *this was because Ahnny was not available and I had gone to someone else filling in for her and I don't think she did a quality job. (disclaimer: I do not see her name on the booking site anymore) So thank you Christine! Also, I have VERY sensitive eyes. I have to put in redness drop immediately after getting my lashes done for they get super red. Ahnny & Christine told me this is mainly due to the tape used and blinking or moving my eye. They said don't worry no problem if there is any discomfort please let me know and we will adjust the tape. And wala we found a perfect system. Emme Lash Bar is very accommodating and very responsive. You can Call, Text, and Facebook message with any questions and they are actually responsive. Major Points right there. Now that I have gave all my positive great feedback, I do need to say where I stand with my lashes now. I have researched and asked many different lash professionals how to keep my lashes longer. I have received lots of feed back from Ahnny and several others. Brush them morning and night, no oil base lotions, creams, or removers, sleep on your back or side, avoid high heat, etc. Let me tell you... I have followed ALL the guidance I have been given but and still having my lashes last decent for 2 weeks. Ahnny recently back from vacation did my lash filllast Friday. At my appointment and she asked if I sleep on my left side. I said... Ah not that I know of. She said I know we use D curl but these dont look like that they have gotten so straight. I agreed and said they are in rough shape, but I don't know what to do. She took a closer look as she began my lashes and said it looks like I have "straight" lashes and to avoid high heat because that can cause them to straighten. Let me tell you, I haven't even opened the stove! Trying to save my lashes. I sent them a text a little bit ago seeing what they can do to make my lashes last 2 weeks. Waiting for a response now. Hoping there is something Ahnny is willing to do because paying $85+ tip roughly $100-$115 every 2 weeks and only having them really last 1 week isn't working and its not right. Once this is addressed and solved I would certainly give a 5 STAR! ** Update Ahnny fit me in tonight because my lashes are practically all done and it totally stresses me out!!! She is going to see what she can do to fix them. I sent her pictures because it practically looks like I only have 4-5 lashes left!!! Ahhh! praying this round goes on and STAY for 2 weeks! read more
