Ocean Pacific with Vanilla Cream
Ashley B.

I am new to the area and have been craving a Hawaiian style shave ice, one with sweet and condensed milk on top, and this place has em! So yummy! We ordered POG with coconut cream and Ocean Pacific with vanilla cream and they were great. The park was busy so finding parking was challenging, we had to park in the businesses across the street and it was $7 for two smalls. But overall we loved it and will be back!

Such a cute little shop with delicious ice cream! We tried the cotton candy and mint chip and both were delicious.

I was over in the area today for lunch and happened to see this joint right across the street…read more Negranti has been on my to go list so this was perfect timing! I crossed the intersection from Pig Latin and was there in less than a minute. Pulling up, the shop had a bunch of seating outside. I adore the picnic tables with the big umbrellas. I can imagine having a nice scoop of ice cream, sitting under the big umbrellas and enjoying the vibe. Walking into the shop, it's very bright and simple. Bright white walls, simple shelves with merch and goodies for sale. A very classic and clean venue. I love the big black and white menu boards. I appreciate when a venue can be beautifully classic. I stopped in for coffee today. Ice cream will have to be another adventure here. I ordered my usual drink today. An iced americano with sugar free vanilla and room for cream. I feel like it's a good basic drink to get at every coffee joint to be a baseline of how they make their coffee. I wanted a 12oz but 16oz is how they serve their small iced beverages so I went with it. The sweet gal got my drink started and I checked out the merch. I love the all mugs available. I have too many mugs at home. There was a cute white mug with little red hearts all over it! My husband would not be happy if I brought home another mug but man it was so tempting. There were unique bottled sodas and packaged ice cream that you can take with you. The root beer is a must try next time too besides the ice cream. The bottle makes me feel like that for beer is going to be out of this world good. My coffee was ready and I headed out to one of the picnic tables outside to chill at and enjoy my drink. September weather was perfect today. sunny and not too hot. Well, I really wanted to enjoy my drink. Unfortunately, it was really watered down. The drink itself was very light and opaque. From the flavoring of the espresso and vanilla, it was hardly there. There was no richness of the half and half, no bitterness of the espresso. It was quite a disappointing drink. I tried to drink a much as I could but I couldn't drink any more of it. I drank about a fourth of it. I don't know if the gal working needs a little more training on the espresso machine and how drinks are made but it wouldn't be a bad idea since this joint promotes itself as a coffee shop. The shop itself is great! The reviews on the ice cream are all the same, delicious. But the few coffee reviews are on the same page as me, disappointing. I'm happy I got to mark this cute spot off my to go list today. I do look forward to coming back for ice cream and bottled root beer.

I ordered a cappuccino. Maybe their ice cream is good but the cappuccino was a hot foamy cup of milk with a slight flavor of espresso, not my idea of a cappuccino.. I'll make sure to come back and try their ice cream.

I got the regular triple steak burger with a side of fries and wifey got the bacon burger. As always it tasted great. Plenty of flavor and stacked with protein. I also really like the sliced long pickles they put in the burger because it always makes the burger taste fresher!

A sweet gal came to the register and greeted us. She got our order all squared away. My husband ordered a shake and she was kind to offer to make the shake later so it didn't melt. My husband wanted it during dinner so she got it all ready and handed it to us. We went to find a table while our food was being prepared. We wanted a booth and unfortunately a lot of the booths were very dirty with food. You can tell the tables haven't been tended to and cleaned. We did find a booth by the front door that was clean. Our number was called out and we grabbed our goodies. I got the California burger with a lettuce wrap, my husband grabbed the grilled cheese steak burger and a chili cheese dog. I opted for onion rings instead of the fries. The onion rings were good. They were crispy on the outside and the onion was soft and sweet in the middle. The burger was tasty. I did have to use a fork to eat it. I thought when they offered my burger to be lettuce wrapped that it would be wrapped. It was pretty much two pieces of lettuce on the top and bottom which made it hard to eat just holding it. My husband enjoyed his grilled cheese steak burger very much. I also did have a bite of the chili cheese dog. It wasn't lacking in the cheese and chili department! It was great. My husband polished off every bit of his oreo shake, I didn't even get a sip of it. People started coming in as we were finishing our meal. It was nice to see late eaters coming in and eating. Freddy's has always produced yummy burgers. It was great that we came here for an easy dinner tonight. I look forward to coming back and getting another fantastic burger and shake if my husband's shares with me next time.

Lively dining room, bar, and outdoor patio. Good selection of cocktails and beer. Ordered the flautas as an appetizer (not pictured as our hunger won over the camera). Light, fried tortilla full of chicken with a tasty cheese dipping sauce. Yummy. Peruvian chicken was good, especially their green sauce. Good size portions of their potatoes and veggies. Chicken sandwich was excellent. A bit spicy at first (I was warned by the waiter) but it settled down. Great bun, fry on the chicken, and flavors. Their fries were delicious but their ranch sauce is excellent! Hats off to their sauce chef. All around very tasty!

I love the atmosphere and the people. Great experience. Only negative is bathrooms need to be cleaned more regularly.

The thing that jumped out at me was the photo of the burger, now call me crazy but I think at this point I can look at a menu, photos of food and then the reviews to guide me. Yelp hasn't failed me yet! The first thing was walking in the door there were two hostess who smiled and greeted me. We were seated at the bar since there were just two of us. I ordered the Crave burger with bacon and my guest ordered the house salad with tortilla soup. Everything was excellent! The burger was juicy, flavorful, the bacon was perfectly crispy, Smokey and the white cheddar cheese was the perfect compliment! Now let's talk about the bun, I typically don't eat burger buns but this one was the exception to the rule. It was homemade obviously, buttery, light, and toasted to perfection. I ate both of them! Hahahaha! I felt so dirty typing that the French fries were crispy, just the right amount of salty and fluffy on the inside, crispy on the outside. My guest agrees with everything in this review. The house salad was fresh, the vinaigrette was homemade and delicious and the tortilla soup was even great! The ambience was a place you could have a business meeting or take your significant other on a date night. There is literally something for everyone on their crave-able menu ( see what I did there?) Our server who was the bartender kept our glasses full and made sure he checked on us often. I found my new burger spot in Eagle, Idaho?!?! Five stars.
