Used to be an amazing place when Sergo and Roland were waiters. The service was impeccable and the place was crazy packed. I've never new to a place where waiters took such amazing care of you. Came back tonight and the service was garbage. Had to order several times and wait three times as long meanwhile the place was nearly empty. The view in the summer is perfect. The food is ok sometimes a bit bland. Hookah is pretty good. This place falls apart on service. They can't seem to comprehend the concept of sections. Random confused waiters walking around in circles. The initial order is more or less ok, everything after including paying the check is painful and takes way too long. Reason I'm giving one star.. Was there on a weeknight recently, there were no tables so my friend and I sit at the round bar type table in the back. Ordered food and drinks. See a table open up and i ask our waiter if we can switch to that as sitting at the bar is not a good spot there, had every intention of ordering more items. Waiter says it's fine so we move. Few minutes later I see the hostess point at our table and speak with the guy I'm assuming is the owner. Few minutes after that a waiter comes over with some people saying they were on line for this table and that we would have to move back to the bar. Fairly obvious that they assumed we had already finished ordering and were just planning to lounge, so they made up some bs story of these people waiting so that they could get a fresh check on the table, On the 5% chance that they actually were waiting, I would expect the owner as he is aware of what's happening because he's standing there, to come up himself and apologize for the mistake they made by giving the table away. Not send one of the before mentioned confused waiters over with the news, while he's still standing within eyesight. Done with this place this year. Listen, I read the reviews and decided to take a shot and go there with my wife. I didn't experience bad service at all. The waiters were friendly and the burgers awesome. We had a martini each and they were great. Good spot for some sports events too. See it for your selves. Some people are hard to please I guess. read more

Just order a delivery through foodsnagger which is pretty cool new service that will deliver all over Brooklyn. The food was pretty bad. Chicken nuggets frozen processed meat a few not even fried on one side. Next pear salad was ok accept the pear was out of can instead fresh. French onion soup no bread in the soup and globules of cheese floating on the bottom yuck. Spartak cake ordered the regular got the raspberry that tasted a few weeks too old. Food and hookah was still good, but that's the only reason why I give it 1 star. The service is absolutely beyond awful in this place. I have no idea how the hiring process works here. The blonde hostess was extremelyyyyy rude, as if it isn't her job to seat customers. The place was full, we asked her how long was the wait, and her attitude in reply was just completely unacceptable. I was astounded. You have two potential paying customers here, and that's how you treat them? Unbelievable. She said 20 minutes in a way that means "it's too long for you to wait you should try a different place" but we waited anyway since I just like the hookah here. Ended up waiting less than 5 minutes. Pretty inaccurate for a hostess although it's her job to know this stuff. I feel that there is ZERO lack of communication. Oh everyone chats, alright. But nobody knows what's going on! We had one waiter take our order and another waiter came a few min later to also take our order. What? Not to mention the fact that we waited AN HOUR to have our dessert order taken. Not an hour for the whole process of ordering and getting our dessert, (since at that point we just wanted to run out of there screaming) but it took an hour for someone just to give us some attention. I will be telling EVERYONE I KNOW to never come here. Such a shame since the food and hookah are good. Hopefully the owners fix up their employees, then maybe I'll give it another chance. I love the hookah at this place! It has an ice cooling handle and it's pretty cheap. The desserts are pretty good as well and outdoor seating is awesome for the summer time. However, it gets really loud and crowded and you are definitely bound to run into a lot of people you know because it is a popular location. read more

Common guys make it interesting....Despite new management etc. They post stuff on Instagram like specials to get you to come in and have no idea what the specials you're mentioning are..weird. Food was ok. We had a full table of young people sitting behind us and it got so loud that we couln't enjoy it anymore.

I wouldn't even give one star if I didn't have to. We were told to wait inside while they prepped the table. We waited a half hour for the outside table and we looked to check in to find out they had given it to a group of males. We said it to the waiter and he said the manager decided to give our table away to that group- we mentioned it to the manager and he waved us away! This place is great for some tea and hookah especially during the summer! Make sure to ask for the jam with the tea. They have a large outdoor seating which is great for when it's warm. I took off a star only because the service isn't great, and I do wish that they served hookah inside. read more

Frequent diner food and hookah is great. We preffer to go during the week at this place, because is not as busy and service is faster. If you go on the weekend it may take a while for your sever to come by, and get your food. Go there if you're not in a rush during the weekend. Disgusting service! Very rude staff! The owner is beyond disrespectful and beyond rude! I came to visit my family in new york and they took me here. My family advised how this is such an amazing place. We came we ordered food, beverages, and hookah! We were sitting and talking, enjoying ourselves. Without us asking the bill was brought to us! We didn't say anything! We just paid the bill and continued sitting and drinking coffee. A waiter comes up to us and very rudely tells us that we paid the bill, we have been sitting for too long and he has people waiting to be seated! We were still smoking hookah and drinking coffee. 5 mins didn't even pass and the owner comes up to us and once very disrespectfully tells us that we have been sitting for 3 hours we paid the bill and its time for us to leave because he has people waiting!there is no sign anywhere that saids that there is a min or max seating time! The owner was very disrespectful and got very nasty saying that we have no common sense because we were sitting there for too long! That is not how you talk to customers especially me being there for the first time! How the hell kicks people out like especially since we came in and spent money in your place! This is the worst place ever!!! Don't ever go there! First of all the food and the desserts are disgusting; you might as well get a food poisoning and end up in ER. Also the staff are very rude and unprofessional. My friend and I went for a hookah, after few minutes bald head idk manager or owner came up to us in a threatening tone saying that we need to order something more and its got to be 15$ per person not including the 35$ hookah. The staff started being rude too after that saying that we stayed too long ,when the restaurant had barely any customers. They should say the policy before anyone enters and put it CLEARLY on the menu with BIG letters not with letters that could be only seen with magnifying glass, because most people go there for hookah not food because food isn't fresh and nasty. So unprofessional, rude , ignorant and disrespectful. Learn to talk to people before managing a restaurant no wonder you losing customers. Terrible experience! Doesn't even deserve a star review. Came in here with a group of 5 friends for some hookah and dessert. We were greeted by a young lady with a nasty attitude. When seated we ordered dessert, water and hookah and our waiter, also a nasty attitude, told us we had to spend a minimum of $15 a person. When we didn't agree and decided to leave, the lady in the front told us that we are "ruining the business and her job". Have been here plenty of times before with no minimum and no problems. Service was always an issue but the food was good. Won't be coming here and not recommended on a Saturday night. I might add that the place was not packed and they lost 6 customers. read more

I went to Emmons Palace last night and it was amazing. The weather was nice and the place was packed. The new staff is trying hard and treat the customers very nicely. My friend and I ordered the skirt steak and the pear salad, they were amazing and I highly recommend them to anyone. We liked the cocktails as well. Simple - avoid. They can not take order right. Could not get it who is the joker - waiter or cook. With two people seating and 10 waiters hang around, could not take and make order right. Cheeseburger is dry as board when ordered mid rare, and second item is forgotten. I think they just wait for busy season, when nobody will care about anything. Take your money somewhere else. We came here around 1030 with six people trying to hang out and order some hookah with dessert but we were rudely told that there was 15$ minimum per person which is completely separate from the hookah itself. Not only have we never heard this before but instead of seating us and waiving this stupid rule to make some business (there were several empty tables) we were asked to leave and told that we are "ruining the business".
