First time in Omonia cafe and it is beautiful! Love the decor! We came in for coffee but actually they have a very detailed food menu, wine. They have a nice looking bar with a bartender. The pastries all looked good but we ordered Tiramisu. And it is my opinion that it just might be the best in Brooklyn. The regular American coffee was not strong enough for me. It tasted watered down and was kind of too transparent. I really wanted to give them 5 stars because it is a great restaurant but that was the weakest coffee we were served this year.

Hard to describe this place: restaurant, late night cafe, bar scene? Anyway, our server was kind and chatty, the cappuccino was tasty, and the cheesecake was fine. Best thing about the night: Mamdani wins amidst a Democratic landslide in the country. History!

Omonia cafe never disappoint . After eating lunch with my daughter we decided to have some desserts at this establishment. They have numerous choices of delicious desserts to choose from. This place is always busy with patrons which shows that this place is doing something right. The service was quick once seated and the dessert we chose was delicious... strawberry cheesecake and a chocolate moose cake which was epic!!! Also I had order a chocolate coffee martini and I enjoyed it ... That martini was made to perfection Overall we had a great time there!!!!

I have always strolled down the avenue and was attracted to this beautiful cafe. I love the sparkly chandelier cascading from the high ceilings and the warm ambience that is so inviting. It is a chain Greek cafe and bakery that offers pastries, desserts and treats galore. I love that this bakery has table service. It is perfect for coffee, brunch and lunch. I finally went in during the day for a quick coffee. I got the "cappuccino freeze," which was a frozen cappuccino coffee with froth and whipped cream. It was so perfect and sweet, but still very light and airy. I also had a little bit of the "Bailey's Cafe" and it was fantastic. From the bar, you can get martinis, margaritas, frozen drinks, wines (red, white and rose), beers, specialty cocktails and mixologist favorites. Looking forward to returning again to Omonia Cafe!

Lots of hype about this place but we thought it was just ok. Dessert was pretty good , need to go back to try food . One stand out though was a strawberry cheesecake we tasted from there. That was great , light and full of flavor

Great place for dessert. I loved the booth style seating! Service was ok. The coffee was delicious but I do wish they had a regular affogato on the menu. The baklava cheesecake was delicious! The baklava was sweet and nutty and the cheesecake was fluffy. Highly recommend!

I've passed this establishment many times but never tried it until recently and it was great! We went for dessert and coffee only and it did not disappoint! There were so many cake selections! Can't wait to return to try more of the cakes and entrees! The place gets pretty full, so if you're looking for an intimate place this isn't it. It can get pretty loud in there but there is indoor/outdoor seating though.

The food and the service is a hit or miss. That being said, the BLT wrap is excellent. The texture and flavor makes it one of the best BLT's I've had. Get the pineapple juice with it! There's a lot of seating available and it has some fun 80's architecture going on. The holiday decor makes the place festive.

The cheeseburger and desserts were good just service not so great. The service this time i went was so much better a man service my group but because it gets very busy i saw him struggling between that and the game.

I recently stopped here to have a dessert out and chill with a friend. This place has lots of desserts to choose from. Everything looked great. I went with a piece of chocolate cake and some earl grey tea. Both the cake and tea were pretty good. No complaints. A nice little spot this was.

Spanakopita & Bougatsa. IMPRESSED. Surprised how HUGE the portions are. Both pieces tasted VERY GOOD with no further elaboration necessary. OMONIA CAFE is an impressively designed modern Zaharoplastion with a large dining area like LEFKOS PYRGOS (ASTORIA). Unlike LEFKOS PYRGOS they don't overcharge their customers, they don't provide small portions, they don't sell SUBPAR Food or have HORRIBLE Customer Service. OMONIA CAFE has been serving the BAY RIDGE community for over 30 years now. RECOMMEND.

The cocktails are amazing and very clever, you will take alot of pictures for Instagram. The food is just above average, but you really are there for the decor and drinks! We went during Halloween 2025 and had an amazing time. Special thanks to the staff who served us at the bar while waiting for our table. Ambiance: 5/5. Although a little small, it's more cozy than crowded. There are decorations wall to wall (and ceilings) during the holidays. The bar is not really meant for kids but they will enjoy the spectacle as much as adults. Drinks: 5/5. Each drink is creative, well mixed, and STRONG. Worth the higher price tag for the artistry. Food: 4/5. Good but not amazing. Solid brunch options and portion sizes, and solid for the price. Service: 4.5/5. Attentive, polite and efficient despite the large crowds coming into this place.

The best item in the entire order was the Mushroom Gratin (what many Eastern Europeans would simply call mushroom julienne- Mix of mushrooms in a heavy cream sauce and topped with melted cheese). It was cheesy, properly cooked, flavorful, and actually very good. That said, the price increase is absurd. This dish used to cost $15 and now costs $26, which is a 73% jump, while the portion is still only moderate. Good? Yes. Worth $26? That is another question. The Chicken Stroganoff, however, was a complete failure. It looks like the kitchen was trying to put its own "innovative" spin on a classic dish by serving Chicken Stroganoff over a latke -- basically a large potato pancake/hash brown -- and by adding pickles directly into the dish. In theory, that could have been interesting. In reality, it did not work at all. A proper Stroganoff is usually served with mashed potatoes or buckwheat, and pickles, if used at all, should complement the dish, not drag it down. Here, the pickles added nothing because they were the same poor-quality pickles this restaurant sells separately for extra money: thick, tough, bland, and lacking the garlicky, flavorful bite that good Eastern European pickles are supposed to have. The latke itself was also a miss. Instead of being thin, crisp, and well-seasoned like a proper Eastern European potato pancake, it was thick, heavy, and almost completely flavorless. No character, no seasoning, no real potato crispness -- just a large bland base taking up space on the plate. And that is exactly the problem with this dish overall: far too much latke, very little actual Stroganoff. The chicken portion was minimal, the mushrooms in the Stroganoff were bland and underseasoned, and the chicken pieces themselves were chewy, tough, and unpleasant to eat. The sauce was also weak and unmemorable. So what we really received was an oversized, mediocre potato pancake with a very small amount of badly executed Chicken Stroganoff spread over it to make the portion look more substantial than it actually was. I also paid extra $2 for extra pickles, and that was not worth it either. The portion was tiny-1 fat pickle, quality was poor -- thick, tough, and zero flavor. I asked for extra black bread, and "extra" apparently meant 4 pieces. Better than nothing, but hardly generous considering the prices this place now charges. So overall: extremely fast delivery, 1 very good mushroom appetizer, and 1 overpriced main dish that completely failed despite trying to sound creative on paper. At these prices, "innovative" is not enough. The food actually has to taste good. Here, only 1 dish did.

Very complex flavors) and the Queen of the Desert (cool refreshing cucumber followed by a spicy heat in the back of your throat, grew on me over time). Food was also quite good. I enjoyed the truffle popcorn and I still have no idea how they made those lemongrass chicken ginger dumplings so yummy (I normally don't even like chicken dumplings bc they're usually not as juicy as pork, but these didn't have that problem).
