    Salmon Tartare Salad

I had a really lovely night at Emmons Palace! I had a girls night out on a Thursday and really enjoyed a chill fun time -- this is definitely a great spot to hangout with friends and enjoy drinks and dinner. We shared a few appetizers including the salmon tartare, pear salad & the mussels. My fav was the refreshing salad & the flavorful mussels with cheesy bread. For our entrees we had the lobster ravioli which was a wow for me, so yummy and the baked salmon steak with mashed potatoes. The lychee martini was delicious -- perfect amount of sweetness. All in all, I highly recommend coming here for a social time with friends. They have yummy cocktails, a wide variety of dinner options & hookah. I think that their new management plays a big role in the pleasant evening! The staff was attentive, the ambiance was inviting & the art around the restaurant brought a welcoming fun vibe.

Came back to check out this spot again , and the drinks were still good ! I tried the hookah that tasted really good too! Again service was on point. The food is just okay. But the music and vibes is dope, recommend this spot as a chill place for drinks and hookah!

The forced tip for bad service!

My third time coming here and unfortunately, I will not be back. Due to our server Eugene who was rude and prejudice. Eugene had other servers watching us as we ate and it made our dining experience very uncomfortable. When my boyfriend asked him to bring some water to the table Eugene slapped down a water pitcher in Infront of us as if he was irritated with our request. When we tried to gain the server's attention for the check he was ignoring us and put his hand up in annoyance (it was not busy to ignore us). I'm disappointed because his actions cause our entire table to become extremely uncomfortable. Then for us to be forced to tip this kind of service isn't fair. I'm not sure if it was because we weren't Russian that we had to receive this kind of service from him. Extremely disappointing... beware that if you are a person of color you will be treated differently. One star only for the hookah (pretty good ).

Planned to go to Roca's but decided to check this spot out. Came last night Friday around 9pm. Not a fancy spot so you can dress casual. Group of 3, the sign says to seat yourself anywhere but I wanted someone to acknowledge we came before seating. If not, how is our order going to be taken? It wasn't crowded when we came, there was a lot of seating but it was packed around 10:30pm. Wow, parking here is horrible! I had to spin around 4 times, and ended up parking 3 blocks away because everything was packed around this area! I got hookah. The waiter recommended ice lemon strawberry. We got the pineapple head ($45) but it doesn't even make a difference. They cover it up with aluminum so you don't even see it. Better off with the regular head which is $40 The menu options were not appetizing so we just got dessert. They sang happy birthday to our friend and brought a little red velvet cake out with a candle which was nice. Decent vibe for a Friday night. They do offer drinks also No music on a Friday night though? What's that about..

It was an amazing dining experience, food and service were top notch. I was surprised by the food presentation, caught me off guard considering the prices. Loved the mussels & the salad. Our waiter was very attentive. The ambiance and the vibe of the place are chill, good for a relaxed dinner or girls night out for chit chats , as you can hear the conversation clearly. Bonus points for music choice !

1/2 roasted sweet duck - so dry and sauce tasted like it was just teriyaki sauce out of the bottle

To start off, this restaurant does not offer free tap water, which I have not seen in any other NYC restaurant. You have to pay $4 for a small bottle of water. The duck was super dry and flavorless. It was called sweet duck but the only thing "sweet" about it was the sauce on the side which honestly tasted like store bought teriyaki sauce and I would not be surprised if that's what it was. The restaurant was nice enough to take this meal back. We also got the Bronzini. It was a small and honestly laughable portion size. It also lacked any flavor. Would not recommend getting it. The calamari was good and the drinks were also good. Our waitress was nice. The vibe of the restaurant is fancy inside but casual outside. They do have a $15 cover charge to sit outside, not sure if it's only when it's busy or all the time.

Margherita Pizza, buffalo wings, burger and fries. Fries are really good.

Burger and fries are really good especially the fries. My friend ordered a margarita pizza which was not what we were expecting, Kind of tasted like frozen mini pizza. The wings were OK but the sauces are not hot enough for my taste. Overall not bad, service is good and the atmosphere is pleasant.

This place is nice and spacious. I didn't try the food but I loved the tea. The hookah was the best I ever had. They had a hookah with ice and it definitely made a difference. The big screen tvs kept us entertained. Can't wait to go back and try the food.

We thought this would be a nice hole in the wall place. The food was alright but the service was horrible. We had to ask the server for more water despite our glasses being fully empty. Our food came out in stages even though everything was ordered at the same time. The side of Fries came out 15 minutes after the rest of the food and we had to remind them. The Assorted Pickles plate is Mia labeled ---- you get pickles some pickles, three giant tomatoes, and a handful of banana pepper. Finally they charge a gratuity fee for parties of four or more but that is not marked ANYWHERE. They have signs that say you must order $15 per person and 3% for paying which credit cards; you don't have a sign for parties of 4 or more. The service was horrible. We had to ask for water and refills, remind them about our food, hunt them down to get to go boxes and check. They were not slammed, in fact 5 were just hanging out in the restaurant v. Helping customers. we asked the manager because the service did not warrant a 15% tip. He just said "well that's the way it is if you had 6 or more it would be 20%. This is almost a bait and switch.

This time, we took the F train to Carroll St, walked by a quiet residential area and some busier streets. We ordered and paid by the entrance, given a number and looked for seats. Got a reg scoop of Coffee bean- small scoop, with specks of coffee; and a Warm brownie sundae - small for the price of almost $17- 1 regular scoop of ice cream, flanked by brownie (was good, soft and warm), covered with fudge. Asked for whipped cream and cherry on the side. Missing the shaved chocolate. Atmosphere is not lively for a soda fountain but I loved the decor/old pharmacy items. Employees were just working, with straight-faces/no smiles.

We ordered the egg cream (as it was award winning according to their wall), the black and white milk shake and coffee. The black and white milk shake was definitely the best of what we ordered. It was fresh and had a homemade taste. The chocolate had a richness to it. I would definitely come back to try the other items on the menu like the sundae. The place itself has a rather old timey vibe to it, which makes it quaint. The service was fast and friendly. If you're in the area I would definitely recommend checking out Brooklyn Farmacy.
