I never had to leave a bad review before. Worst place I've ever eaten at. We ordered savory crepes and they came frozen. It was a piece of cheese with a tomato on a blintz.. All frozen. We asked the waiter to send it back and he started arguing with us that we already had a piece. He claimed it was impossible for it to be cold and started raising his voice. Excuse me? Food is unremarkable, been there many times for hookah. Never was a problem in terms of service until today. Walked in with a group of friends for a birthday and automatically got looks for having a more diverse than they were used to group. Was sat in the covered area outside and as soon as we were seated, the waiter informed us there was a $15 min for each person due to limited seating and hookah doesn't count, which basically told us we needed to get food or beverage or we would be paying for so called limited seating. It's astounding how much these people are trying to make a buck, first off it's a Monday night with about 15 patrons in total for the restaurant and we occupied one of the 3 tables outside. Secondly, I have been seated at this establishment many times with the same unedited menu and same rule on much much busier instances without issues and without blatant disrespect. Why is it okay to cherry pick "rules" based on any inkling of deviation from the usual customer demographic? Aside from this instance, the food is basic, the service in general seems rushed and the hookah is not anything special where you couldn't find anywhere else. If yelp would allow for no stars there wouldn't be any. It's off putting and leaves a bitter taste in your customers' mouths, nice business management. read more

I always go to this place, but today was by far the worst experience I've had at a restaurant. Our waiter was very rude, we asked for water 3 times and never got it. We asked for utensils a couple of times and when he finally brought it out 30 mins later he threw them on the table. When he saw we got irritated, he said "you have sandwiches anyway". The waiters name was sergav for everyone who wants to go, even though I don't recommend it. They didn't even change the coal for the hookah or stop by to check if everything was okay or if we needed anything. It was very disappointing especially after seeing every other table getting their water on time. The tip was included and we demanded that it be taken off because he DID NOT deserve a tip at all after treating customers the way he did especially after I've been there multiple times with bills that came up to more than $100 each time. After we complained to the manager and asked for the tip to be taken off, he said to not come back to the place if we weren't happy with the service. So I really don't recommend this place unless you wanna be treated like garbage and spend more than $100 on overpriced frozen food. read more

I went here with my kids for lunch. The food was bearable and nothing more. However, the service needs tremendous amount of improvement. Part of my order was never brought out despite multiple reminders to the staff. The worst part of the experience was a member of a party from the next table who was smoking inside the facility. Not only did the staff not say anything, neither did the manager until I had to bring it to their attention. This was inside the cafe. It is not acceptable. The staff was hesitant to tell the woman to stop smoking until they finally decided to. This experience cut my evening short, I got the check and left. Not coming back here. read more

While in NY we've been invited to a birthday party in Dessert Pallace. Looks like the place were recently remodeled and I heard they have a new chef. The dinner was very good and crepes were just amazing. We tried tuna salad and steak salad, both were very good. Ribeye steak was cooked right and roasted duck was very tender. I don't know why I am seeing a lot of bad reviews about hostess for the last week. My personal experience with the hostess was great. This Friday we came around 9 o'clock with friends, she nicely explained to us rules of the restaurant and she gave us a good table with the big smile on her face.I wish that every restaurant could have that kind of workers.Such a good place to hang out with your friends.I strongly recommend to spend time in that restaurant. read more

This is one of the bestest places that provides great hookahs , kind and attentive staff.

The food here is okay not bad. Came here for brunch time which where they had a special. The waiters were hard to reach because they were all to busy on their phones and talking to one another to pay attention to you. They also messes up my order and had to wait for the new platter. With the brunch they were supposed to give a free pancake but when receiving the check I was charged for it. I did not enjoy my time spent there and wish I didn't decide to try it out. Other than their salad the food is OK that's all. I have not tried their dessert because I was upset. I would not recommend or be coming back to this place. We came there at 12 o'clock . Waiter asked us for drinks , that was ok. But after that I've never seen him , I was waiting for the next round for 20min. But the waiter never showed up, even though it wasn't such a busy evening . We asked smth about hookah flavors, but the waiter said an inappropriate joke about mint flavor with marijuana, which sounded unprofessional. Then they gave us a bill at 1am and didn't even say us if we wanted to order something else, I decided to check their schedule and it said that restaurant should be open till 2am, it was weird. They charged me for one extra beer, which I didn't order. The last thing was , that my gf wanted to use the restroom at 1:30, but they said that it's already closed, but one guy let her go, thanks. But my friends who wanted to go after her were not able to go anymore. Why do you post that you close at 2am, and customer can't even go to the bathroom??? I usually don't write any negative reviews but I was so shocked by the horrible customer service I experienced at Emmons Palace today that I had to share. We ordered a lobster bisque and a baked salmon. 45 mins later we called the waiter to ask how much longer, he said it's coming. Then another guy comes to us and says that there is nothing in the computer for our table. He said he can place the order now but we would have to wait at least 20 mins, we declined and asked to pay for our drinks (iced tea and iced coffee) The owner witnessed the whole situation and didn't even feel bad or offered anything. Instead he said sorry guys, next time. Should of went next door to Opera. Will never step my foot in this place again!!!! read more

Food presentation was great. Food prices are reasonable. But if you go for dinner (7-11pm) that's automatically $15 per person plus the cost of food. There are more than 1 waiter waiting your table. And I do not think they speak fluent English. Seating outside was very tight too. read more

Great coffee, delicious food and beautiful outside space. But the workers are slow, being that it's a very high volume restaurant. The owner and managers are pet friendly and amazing people. This is one of the only places in sheepshead bay Brooklyn. That's open till 2AM read more

Boys night out for drinks, food, hookah Emmons palace is the spot. They have a separate drinks menu and as for food they offer almost about anything; crepes, burgers, salads, panini, steak, appetizers, cakes and icecream. One of my favorite things to eat here is the pastrami panini. And after all this hookah is also very good. The seating area outside is a chill atmosphere. Would definitely recommend to go here out for a chill night with friends. read more

I came to celebrate my sisters graduation with the family. The service was excellent. The dessert and the kiwi mojito was so good!!! My mom had the blueberry martini which was also good. What a great way to start the summer will definitely be back!!!! Can't wait to come back next time will try the hookah. read more
