Throughout the cooking, we also interacted with the chefs, asking them about the dishes, and also getting some samples of the dishes before they were served. We arrived for Sunday dinner reservation right on time. It was small space with about 20 spots. BYOB place, no cork fee. Half of the seat were around the kitchen. There was a scoring sheet for each guest with names of both chefs, the ingredients of the day and the rules. The chefs got 45 minutes for preparing their appetizers, 35 minutes for entree and 20 minutes for desserts. It was impressive to see both chefs were precise with their timing. The dishes prepared by both chefs were so masterful, had intricacy of combining the ingredients and coming up with some sumptuous flavors. Salmon and steaks were cooked perfectly. It was extremely difficult to score the chefs on barest of margins and pick a winner. But per the rules I did pick Chef Ryan Beegel over Chef Alexis Sicklick. The host was also super nice and funny.
