    Empanadas

Came in and was greeted by the store owner, very warm, helpful, and sweet. The empanadas were delicious, I can't even tell you which one was my favorite because they're all good. I'm from south Florida so I know a good empanada and this place does not disappoint. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place was nice and clean, very homey.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] So happy to have found this spot, WILL DEFINITELY BE COMING BACK

Beef and cheese empanada, cheese arepa, fried yuca, salad, rice, beans, and sweet plantains.

I came here after an OB-GYN appointment and just let me say this restaurant made a pregnant woman very happy! The food and service were absolutely incredible. Everything was prepared fresh and with high quality ingredients. The entire staff was friendly and took the time to explain the menu and offer suggestions. Highly recommend!

My favorite stop in Valdosta! Great family and the best empanadas you'll eat anywhere.

Stewed pork chop and white rice. Cheese arepas. Beef and cheese empanadas.

Regret not trying this place sooner. My first time having empanadas. The beef and cheese is so good I have not tried the others versions yet. I am a meat cheese and bread eater and I could eat empanadas from here every day without getting tired of them.. The medium salsa has just the right amount of kick for people who don't like a lot of heat. The hot looks very similar but brings the heat for people who like a little burn. I have also eaten the cheese arepas. Very tasty cheesy cornbread This looks like the best option for my taste. The chuletas guisadas was tender and flavorful. The white rice and juice from the stewed pork chops tastes like rice and tomatoes with latin flavor. It was so good I attempted to make them at home for the family. No where near as good but pleased everyone. Their Cuban sandwich is easily one of the best I have ever had. An ice cold Ironbeer is the icing on the cake. My only complaint is there is only one location. Something this good deserves more.

Stewed chicken breast, tostones and some yellow plantains.

OMG this is truly a hidden gem! The owner was so kind he explained what everything was on the menu and actually took the time to remember our names in the 20 minutes we were there. The food was delish and tasted like real homemade! It is a family owned business! We ordered Thursday's special "stewed chicken and rice with tostones or yellow plantains. Also tried the Colombian empanada and the regular beef, beef and cheese. The cheese is so good! I will make sure we visit again when we're back this way!

Beef, chicken, and ham empanadas with a fresh salad.

The restaurant has a few tables and a bar. There is a cafeteria style setup with hot food. I don't know how the table service works, but to go, we just said we had a to go order. There is a choice of foods and sandwiches. There is a big board with a menu, but other patrons said to go by what is actually on the food bar. Someone there waiting on their food recommend the oxtail, cabbage, and cuban rice, so that's what I ordered. Oxtail - this is one of the best things I've ever had in my life. It was cooked perfectly (I assume, I have never had it before). Super tender and the fat just melts. It's over a bed of rice, which soaks up the juice. There is not a ton of meat, but it is 100% worth it. . Cabbage - I have had cabbage plenty of times, but this may have cumin, but not sure. It was also very good. If you like cabbage, you will probably like this. There were a lot of other foods to choose from, so lots of options if oxtail and cabbage are not for you. Unless we find something better, this is our go-to for Moultrie.

The food? Off the charts! The experience? Always interesting (helps to know some Spanish). The Cuban market inside? When we came in there was no table available. Server tried to prepare a table in room to the right. He failed to do that. Then we got seated in a middle of cafe. After 15 minutes we were asked to go sit at the booth table because they have a bigger party coming. We waited for a food for about an hour. In a mean time waitress kept coming to ask are we doing ok,.lol Our table was next to the bathroom and we heard waitress talking amongst themselves about what they found in one of the stalls. Then customers next to us were asked to stand up, as apparently their seat is a bench and staff is storing bleach bottles in those benches. So 2 older ladies had to get up so staff can retrieve bottle of bleach from under their seat. Food was nothing but mediocre and simple mocktail cost $14 at lunch time. Too bad that we had such a horrible experience. This place does look cute in a pictures.

A restaurant was fairly empty when we arrived. We went inside, but let the server know we were gonna sit outside. Several minutes passed and menus were delivered. It took several more minutes for the server to return and take our order. I have to say the food is worth the price of admission! We ordered enough options so that we could take home leftovers for the next day's lunch. We ordered the chorizo tacos, served, and softshell flour tortillas. They must've been baked slightly because they had a little bit of structure to them. There is ample chorizo in each taco. Delicious! We also ordered an arepa, empanadas, tostones, and yuca fries. Everything was delicious, plated individually, and tasted wonderful. My question the reason we don't visit this restaurant more often. We were glad to visit and we plan to return!
