    Dinner!

I love this place. The decor is fun and vibrant and the service is usually good. The drinks are always fantastic. The food isn't much to write about, pretty standard Mexican restaurant fare but consistently good.

Tried this spot when my parents came to visit. Grew up eating authentic Mexican food so I'm pretty picky but this place has come pretty close. Everyone really enjoyed the food and raves about the flavors and the service. I'm definitely going back for more.

    Overpriced $8 mini cheese dip

Previously a fan of Pedro's I chose my visits carefully on when it was ok to smell like a grease pit after leaving. After receiving a condiment sized cheese dip with beef for $8 that is the mail in the coffin. Not again. This is after my wife visited for her last time and was charged $35 before tip for one medium margarita, a sweet tea and a cheese dip.

Cute little spot to enjoy some delicious Mexican food! I love the decor and murals inside. The staff was welcoming and friendly. Our waitress was on top of things, keeping drinks filled, making sure we had everything we needed or wanted. The food was great too. There were 4 of us. I had the chicken fajitas, my husband had the carne asada, our daughter had the chicken street tacos, and our son had the supreme burrito. There is no photo of the burrito because it was so good that my son had pretty much devoured it almost immediately (hungry teenage boy). Only complaint was that some of the chips seemed a bit stale, and the flour tortillas for my fajitas also seemed a little tough. But everything else was absolutely delicious!

So yea, I've been here almost everyday for the past 3 weeks while my boyfriend is here on business. Let's just say this is my favorite spot in Valdosta. The food is always on point and comes out super fast. The reggaeton is always bumping the background giving the place a nice vibe and the staff is always super nice especially Stacy. If you want amazing service ask for Stacy to be your waitress! She's amongst the top waitresses I've ever had at any restaurant. If i had a restaurant, no offense Pedro's.. I'd steal her! She should definitely be on your bar staff! She doesn't forget anything , remembers your name, your order , and will check on you several times no matter how busy the restaurant is. Now the drinks.. definitely try the coronarita, the champagne margarita, or even the sangrita. Trust me you will leave tipsy off just 1! Get it frozen though... You'll thank me later! Now the food.. best thing on the menu is the seafood soup, next up the steak tacos "Mexican style", the fajitas are pretty good too.

    Chicken and steak nachos

The nachos are to die for, that's my go to order. The service is amazing, the wall art is cool and the flan is sooooo delicious! I don't know why they only have 3 stars like what? Chips are crispy, salsa is made in house, and everything is seasoned well. The only thing I I've ordered that I didn't like was the chicken mole burrito, it tasted too sweet.

If I could give zero stars I would. The worst margaritas in town!! 0/10 recommend. Service was not the best either.

Good drinks and pretty restaurant but bad service. My friend's order was given to her wrong, and the service was really slow.

During my visit, I placed an order before another couple who arrived after me. While waiting, I observed that the later-arriving couple received their food before me. From my perspective, there was no obvious explanation for the difference in service, such as a different menu item or an expedited option that was communicated to customers. What made the situation particularly noticeable was that the employees appeared to interact with the other couple primarily in Spanish, resulting in a more personalized and attentive experience. Whether intentional or not, it created the perception that customers with whom employees shared a common language or cultural familiarity were receiving preferential treatment. In any customer-facing business, perception matters just as much as intent. Restaurants succeed when every customer believes they are treated with the same level of respect, attentiveness, and fairness. If there are legitimate reasons why orders are prepared or served out of sequence, those reasons should be transparent and consistently applied. Otherwise, customers are left to conclude that different standards are being used. I might return because the food was enjoyable, but I hope management evaluates its service practices to ensure that every guest receives an equally attentive and equitable experience, regardless of the language they speak or their background.

Decided to pop in and give this place a try after seeing it on Google restaurants. My family and I…read moreenjoy authentic Mexican food, and the menu/location seemed to advertise such. This place is in the back side of a store. It's very open and colorful. It looks as if it may feature a buffet, but there wasn't one today. The table gets complimentary corn chips and salsa. We decided to order a variety of items such as tacos, sopes, and a burrito. It was all asada for us today. Unfortunately, all of our asada dishes had a lot of fat/grissle. I wouldn't mention it if it were a piece, but it was a fair amount. My dish, considering it was a large burrito, didn't seem to have much meat, either. It was also an open burrito where the edges weren't folded in so that got a little messy. Overall, the flavors in the dishes were nice, but there were a couple iffy things. I'd give it a 3.5 but considering the prices, cleanliness, and flavors I will bump it to 4.

I was so surprised to see that Baxley has the REAL DEAL Mexican food. It is located behind the CVS…read moreacross from their drive thru. I lived on the Valley (South Texas) border for serval years and would visit Northern Mexico often to eat and shop. I haven't had this type of food in years other than in places like Atlanta and D.C. I have never had a Sope in the states like I had here. I have had similar Central American sopes in the U.S. but they are a little different than Mexican sopes I am used to. The Pastor is incredibly delicious. Full of porky, pineappley, annatto spiced flavor. The lengua, asada, carnitas, and borrego (lamb) are fantastic as well (I only wish they had cabrito but the borrego was good enough). They are served many different fashions including with the authentic and traditional "silver dollar" corn tortilla tacos. The rice and beans are of the same quality. The Aguas Frescas like Horchata and Melon are rich and full of natural flavors. They do serve menudo and have a great priced lunch buffet I have not tried yet. The service is good, Spanish helps but you can navigate the experience well enough. The attached store is full of everything you need for your Mexican home cooking spice needs and candies like spicy mango lollies, Rosa Mazapan, and many others are available at cheap prices. If you are missing the real deal Mexican experience like I was you will not be disappointed. No gringo counterfeiters here. This place will take you home. If you don't know what real Mexican food is give it a try. Some things will be familiar, mostly in name, but this is NOT American style Mexican food.
