The best thing, Happy Days is only 4 miles from one of the greatest attractions in New York ....Bethel Woods, the 69' Woodstock Concert Field and the historic Woodstock Museum (which is a must see... you'll thank me later). The campgrounds are covered in pine trees, so you awake to great, fresh smelling air. It's very clean. The showers, bathrooms and rec room were immaculate. I drove my RV here, but on the premises, you can rent well restored, classical 3-wheel campers for a minimal fee and spend the night in camping luxury (and instead of my gas guzzling RV, I'll bring my car next time, instead and still save).... Tim, one of the owners, is great. From his story, he had no intention of running a campsite. He was in corporate management. He came to Happy Days as a kid. When the woman who owned the site told him, he'd have to find another place to camp next year ... the wheels went into motion. This campsite is Tim and his brother's baby and the care and the high standards they have also shows in their appreciation of their customers ... and I'm sure that comes from having originally been a customer of the campsite. Make sure you make reservations in advance, especially when Bethel Woods has a concert planned for the weekend. I was going to stay an extra day but I waited too long. Immediately, a kid comes over and makes it known that I'm unwelcome. I tell her my situation and she leaves. Then before I could even leave (!), an aggressive weirdo on a golf cart, comes over and lets me know that I can't be there for just a minute to get my bearings and leave. "That happens on the public roads," he says. And "we only rent to friends". I don't recommend staying here unless you enjoy a hostile, cult-like "welcome". And if you're a member of the public, bc apparently they don't want you there.

There is plenty of relaxing entertainment - hammocks already set up, horseshoes, playground, pool, and they had live entertainment on the weekend. The campground is nice. Not too large, not too tiny. Has 1 shower house, and 2 sets of restrooms in the main area. Large pool, and it's easy to get places from there. The only downside I found was that for some campsites you have to straddle a ditch when pulling in, so you need to be a bit careful. Definitely recommend!

We stayed here for three nights. The place for a somewhat outdoor setting is overall clean even…read morethough we did find some cobwebs in the lights that looked like they'd been there for a while. The water pressure is very strong for the shower and faucets, which is great. They do have bikes and kayaks, but you have to pay to rent them, according to the website, so we didn't bother because it's ridiculous that they'd charge you after paying so much per night. You can't drink the faucet water, so they give you 16oz bottles of water, and we stayed three nights and got eight bottles of water. We weren't sure if we'd get charged the $1.50 per bottle that was on the website if we asked for more. Guess you can't drink your recommended amount of daily water. They also have a bunch of creepy statues around that look more satanic than gargoyles like they have on their map. To get to your dome it's a decent walk for most, so they do offer you a ride, but when we checked out, we texted about a ride and never got a response, so we lugged everything up the hill to the car and then when we got there the one guy said you should've text and I would've picked you up. Yeah, we did a half hour ago and you never responded back. They even tell you at check in if you need anything to text them, but they aren't that responsive. We texted two times our whole trip and when we did get a response it was an hour later and the second time we never got a text, which is why we lugged everything up the hill. The domes are nice, the beds are comfortable but the hospitality sucks. The grill is great and there's plenty of seasoning, plates, pots and utensils to get you through your stay.

The people who come here are really stretching the concept of "camping". They bring giant speakers and even TVs and power them with loud gas generators. The campground supposedly has quiet hours after 11pm but they do nothing to enforce them and when you bring up the lack of enforcement they just kind of shrug. One night we stayed people played loud music all through the night until 5am. If you value enjoying nature with a good night's sleep stay far far away from here.

I could not see this place being too kid friendly when it was busy during the summer months.

They keep the area tidy, with clean trash bins and bags provided, and the trash is picked up in the morning. The only downside was the lack of night patrol. There were several loud parties making it difficult to sleep, though I understand this is more of an issue with guests not being considerate. Additionally, the site next to ours had a notably loud snorer, which made things a bit more challenging. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would recommend Kittatinny K-Camp.

They need security at night all times of the year to prevent this. I would never go back again because of that. You want, quit... look elsewhere. All reviews say the same thing it seems. Wish i would have looked first.
