Business receipt for service that the business will claim they did not provide, lol!

They are no good! Would give them 0 stars if had the option. Don't think the guy even cleaned my carpet since I wasn't present at my Auburn home on January 24, 2020 at the time of service. However, one week after I moved in on January 31, 2020, I went over areas in the house with my lil ole Bissell Crosswave and when I was done, the dirty water was black. It's as if It was never cleaned. I found cobwebs on the carpet in the corner behind bedroom door and thick layers of dust still in the carpet along the walls. Wasted $108(see attached receipt for proof of service), will never use any Chem-Dry franchise again. To expand on my Chem-Dry experiences, I've used Chem-Dry of Seattle since 2013. I know exactly what their basic cleaning can do to even the filthiest of carpets. So it goes like this, the minute I find a new home to move in, I call them every time to clean the carpets before I move into the place. Beth there is awesome, she is very hands on with customers and always polite. Had one complaint and she was on it like white on rice. It was like it never happened. I only called a different location this time because I was no longer in Seattle. My mistake, I should've called Beth anyway, she probably would've sent someone out anyway. I am OCD and because of this experience, I can't even go back to my original Chem-Dry location. Lost trust in the company as a whole. This is my initial complaint with this location. Never called them to discuss or gave opportunity to resolve. This is because the technician named Cole (name listed on receipt) knows exactly what he did and it was clear and blatant deception. This is what happens when you're home-bound for several months, you clear up your long to-do list.

As a homeowner, I couldn't be happier with the experience and highly recommend them. Vitaliy was excellent to work with throughout the process. He communicated openly about costs, risks, and timelines. His initial quote was the most thorough and detailed among all the bids we received (e.g. including a potential subfloor leveling cost range upfront to avoid surprises later on). He was also open to incorporating a written addendum I provided alongside the standard contract so that all project expectations were clearly documented from the start. When a supplier mistake from Shaw Floors delayed materials and forced my family into a longer Airbnb stay, Vitaliy stepped up and helped cover the ~$1,500 extra cost. That meant a lot to us. The crew treated our home with respect, the floors look beautiful, and throughout the project I felt I could truly trust Vitaliy and David's Flooring. I would absolutely use them again and recommend them to other homeowners for flooring work.

They gave me a ball park price, and directed me to the showroom. I wanted flooring that matched the other room of the house. I was provided with samples (kind of large slabs), and was free to bring back the samples whenever it was convenient to me. Overall, they were relaxing to work with and not pushy at all. I made the date for them to come to rip the carpet out, and install the flooring. They were able to complete one room in one day. My request was finished within 3 weeks of contacting David's flooring. The additional great thing is that since my floor was already pretty level, the need to level out my flooring was cleared out of my invoice. So, they gave really great estimates. There were no hidden fees or surprises when I worked with them. Overall, that room was about 2k. The convenience and quickness was really worth it to me. Additionally, they removed and reinstall the baseboards which makes the finish much more professional look.

TASK: Remove existing backsplash and countertop and install a new backsplash and countertop…read more PROBLEM 1: NEITHER THE DEMOLITION CREW NOR THE INSTALLATION CREW WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR PREPPING THE COUNTERTOPS. Nothing was covered. All contents of the drawers were contaminated by demolition materials. In addition, during the demolition, the underlayment of the countertops was damaged. As stated in the contract, this was not to be addressed by Granite and Marble Specialists (GMS). Once the island countertop was removed, you could see that a heavy layer of glue remained on the underlay. The installers said that that was not their responsibility. They installed the countertop over the uneven underlayment of the residual glue. This meant that there were up to 1/2 inch gaps between the counter and the underlayment, stretching a span of 108.5 inches. Over time, this will lead to instability and breakage of the stone. The installers forged ahead and installed the new countertop independent of the gaps. The installers were adamant that they had installed the island countertop to level. RESULT: We had to remove the new countertop and have the surface sanded to level before having them reinstall the countertop. PROBLEM 2: NEITHER THE DEMOLITION CREW NOR THE INSTALLATION CREW WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR PREPPING THE BLACKSPLASH AFTER DEMOLITION. This meant that it was the homeowner's responsibility to install drywall and to make sure that the backsplash was level. The backsplash was 1.5 inches unlevel from one end of the backsplash to the other. Thus, in addition to the provision of drywall because the existing drywall was damaged during demolition, we had to shim the drywall to ensure the backsplash was level for the backsplash installation. RESULT: We had to go buy wood, cut it to the specific dimensions and install the new underlayment for the backsplash. IN SUM: GMS provided what the contract stated, an installed countertop and backsplash. It was not stated in the contract that it be level or that it be level to the degree that it was level prior to the new installation. The installers showed it to be level because the countertop was 108.5 inches long X 46 inches wide X 3cm deep. So, BEWARE. If this is the type of installation you are looking for, this is the organization for you.

He was easy to reach and very direct, which gave me confidence to move forward. Overall, the work was good. The flooring price was fair, but the painting cost felt high. The biggest issue was communication once the project started. I made the prepayment, met to sign the contract, and did my part. But after that, getting a response became extremely difficult. Communication with the point of contact (I won't name) was almost non-existent, which was unacceptable. The workers did their job, but since they do not speak English, any questions or clarifications had to go through the point of contact. This made resolving even small issues frustrating. On top of that, I asked for a little leftover baseboard paint for touch ups. I was told I would get it after the project was done, but it has now been four months and I still have not received anything. Cleanup was also lacking. Like other contractors I have used in the past, they left dust and debris behind, and I had to do a lot of follow up cleaning after they left each day. Prestige Flooring will get the job done, and Vlad himself was responsive at the beginning, which stood out compared to other contractors. But be prepared for poor communication during the project and less than ideal cleanup afterward. Professional service includes timely communication, not making the customer feel like they need to nag or beg for a response. That was the most disappointing part of the experience.

Maybe great for residential but not for commercial…read more We signed contract, After signing contract, We found out below was not included in the price, Tiles, Grouts and caulking, They used the word "Install", so we assumed its included. I believe they do this so they can win the Bids, Trim the doors, and let us know forgiveness later to bill us, Electrical work was done but price never discussed. Nothing documented so we are not liable, although, keep on calling you for these add-ons. Overall, The quality of the product and installation is there, Although not for business. Once you signed contract, its not a good signs that they add on extra here and there. You'll be suprised whats not included. They do not include basic things that comes with installing the tiles. When they say Tile's not included, and we opt out. But they said 30% deposit was non refundable. We told them we just cancel the credit card. They offerred discount, and those discount was not honored ofcourse while they insist on their add-ons. Just not professional, or they do not know what professional means, or what contract is..... So overall frustrating experience for sure. I should have picked the vendor we always go to, their lower price (without the tile) attracted us, but was a bait. Dissapointing on admin side, workers are experience, but still negative one star. Hope they hire admin person, Owner speaks English, not fluent, and do not know business practice in US, Just horrible experience.

An added bonus is that Gheorghe's prices for tile work are extremely competitive and fair. Please note that not every tile company is the same - I am not the easiest client, as I consider myself to be very meticulous.
