I understand the company disagrees with my review, but I was disappointed by the tone of their response and the implied pressure to remove it. Being told they would publicly respond and report the review to Yelp and Google if I didn't remove it felt unnecessarily aggressive and intimidating. Also in response to their comments below Thank you for confirming the exact root of the problem: you looked at a three-pane window, saw that only the middle section was currently foggy, and assumed I only wanted that single section replaced. As a professional window company, it was your responsibility to clearly state: "We see only the middle pane is failing, so this quote is strictly for one pane of glass, not the entire window unit you asked for." You didn't do that. You just wrote "1 glass replacement" on a quote for a "window replacement" request and expected a regular homeowner to know the technical difference. The fact remains: I asked for a window replacement. I provided a photo of the entire window. Other companies looked at the exact same information and managed to quote the entire three-pane unit for a price comparable to what you charged me for just the middle section. You can keep calling a customer's genuine financial frustration "deceptive" to protect your online rating, but your own responses show a complete lack of accountability. You made an assumption, failed to communicate it clearly upfront, and I had to pay the premium for it. Prospective clients can read this back-and-forth and decide for themselves if they want to risk dealing with a company that hides behind ambiguous quote terminology instead of practicing transparent communication. Unfortunately, due to some miscommunication during the quoting process, only the middle section was replaced. To their credit, they did offer to replace the remaining sections at a discount after I brought up the issue. However, even with the discount, the final price still ends up being significantly more expensive than competitors. Had everything been communicated more clearly upfront, I likely would have chosen a different company. The biggest issue for me was the lack of clarity during the quoting process. It felt misleading to realize afterward that the quote only covered one section instead of the full window I thought we had discussed. That said, I do want to give credit to the installation crew because they were excellent. They were respectful, worked quickly, kept everything clean, and did quality work. My frustration is mainly with the communication and quoting side of the experience, not the installers themselves.

They were very informative about why this window had failed and I had a bid by the end of the day. I pondered a couple different options for replacement and ended up going with what was being replaced instead of matching the other window next to it. Paid deposit thru web portal and then communication was quiet for ~1 week with no follow up to inform when the build might be complete and ready to install. Received call about another bid which got this one back on track WRT communication and what to expect. Got couple messages about changing the install appointment, first earlier, then later an hour later. Was ~2-3 hours after the original appt time quoted the week prior. Installers came and took care of everything. I introduced myself and then they told me their names. When they were done, they just left. Felt like an odd interaction, but everything went smoothly and no more broken window, so not dwelling on a different experience than the rest of the interactions I had. Finally, price was very good and their vehicles have company name on them, which seems to be a rare thing when I see other trades working around my neighborhood.
