So I called because I needed a door custom made. I have the measurements and everything. They told me they would need the old door but I advised I do not have it. I would have to do everything myself, do the hinges, etc.... I asked how are they different from Home Depot and the lady couldn't give me a reason. If you're in the business of providing a service or selling goods, maybe try to sell your business? I remember working for Mercedes Benz a long time ago and BMW is our #1 rival. When people would call, looking to buy a car, I would persuade them and brag about our cars. Maybe customers service isn't what it used to be. Sad. read more

I purchased a home in 2023 and immediately started on gutting the interior of the home. I removed all the interior doors, door casings door trim and all the baseboards. The plan was to install pre-hung solid wood doors throughout the home to match the new flooring and cabinets. A few months into this project I had some unexpected life changes today the least and wasn't able to afford the wooden doors I originally planned. Luckily, I kept the old doors however I needed new door frames and new door casings through the home, because I had thrown the old ones out. I made several calls to various door companies throughout the I.E. A buddy who had done contracting work for me, mentioned Empire Doors. I looked them up, read a few reviews, looked at their prior projects and later reached out to Greg Marquez. Greg was quick to respond back, answering all my questions and the next day showed up at my home. We spoke candidly. Greg was very easy to deal with, and provided me with detailed information regarding the process of reinstalling the doors. I hired him on the spot! I never had any worries about Greg keeping his word and I trusted him with my home. Greg had a full team of experienced staff start on the project a few days later and completed the job ahead of schedule. My home is a single story home, 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, over 3,600 Sq and over 26 doors just to give you an example of how much work Greg and his team had to do. Be careful with this place, they add extra charges without notifying you. I paid for some doors over the phone and never received a copy of my receipt. We were having issues with our truck so I asked how much they charged for delivery and was told $50. We couldn't get someone to be here so it delayed it some more. They call me and tell me I needed to pick up the doors and so I asked when they can deliver and they tell me it'll be an extra $25 because the delivery guy needs help unloading. We end up calling some friends to help us pick them up instead and when they get there, my husband is charged $25 for storage because we didn't pick up the doors right away and it was stated on the bottom of the receipt I never received. I guess they were desperate for those $25 one way or another. Bad business costs you more in the long run. read more

My husband and I went in there a over a month ago wanted to purchase two exterior doors plus framing and two intirior doors. We needed installation and went with the contractor there. After he came to give us our estimate he contacted us twice after we reached out to him and gave us vague time frames and those dates came and went.
