Giving one star because their pricing is fairly good. Besides that, if you wanna get a job done and need laminate flooring or anything they sell from this place, make sure you're ready to NOT have your material when they tell you it'll be there. This place is the absolute worst when it comes to making sure their paid in full customers don't get their product on time and reschedule not once but twice. Was guaranteed my order would be there on a tuesday. keep in mind, I paid for the order a Wednesday prior. you'd think basically a week would suffice, but guess what, it wasn't. the day of, got a call that the trailer forgot to pick up the product , guess shame on them. Next guaranteed delivery day, Thursday. It's ok, i'll just pay the contractor to put the floor a few hundred dollars to organize the area and get ready for thursday, since that was the new date given. Thursday comes and i call to make sure product is there for pick up. Oh wait. they'll check to co form, oh what! producer is not here, trailer didn't pick up again, Friday for sure it's here. shoulda looked at these reviews ahead of time, shame on me. let me cancel my contractor again, because obviously it's my fault the product i paid for is not here. Friday comes, i call and told my product is on way, should be there at 4-5 pm . oh nice, 4 or 5 pm, just in time to enjoy that beautiful Cali traffic. Awesome, i'm glad i was able to accommodate the business since obviously they are doing me the favor. Great job guys. ‍ in other words, this business sucks balls and if y'all decide to buy here just make sure to be disappointed with the service. Shop at your own risk. I usually never give bad reviews unless i really have to, so people, BEWARE. i personally DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO THIS PLACE. DO NOT BUY !!

After several calls to try and get our job get completed correctly I have to give a poor review. They didn't return my calls and when they did they sent out a guy that didn't even know how to caulk!

My appointment was rescheduled four separate times, often last minute. As a mom of 10-month-old twins, my schedule is very structured, so the repeated changes were especially disruptive. I understand things come up, but the lack of reliability was disappointing. I ultimately had to move forward with another company. **Update: After the owner's response, I went back and reviewed our messages and he's correct that there were two reschedules, not four. I appreciate the clarification and understand that one of the cancellations was due to a family emergency. Hope all is well with your mother. That said... scheduling delays, limited availability and multiple reschedules still impacted my timeline and planning, which ultimately led me to move forward with another company. He does not…read morehave working capital, kept asking for $50 on day one onwards when it was clearly agreed that he will paid in phases after completetion of select rooms. No prep-work, covering of floors, does not have tarp, ladders, drill. Biggest flag was he could not provide a single reference besides claims of repeat customers on NextDoor App. First day, he showed up 2-3 hours late, he came w/o any plastic or brown covering paper, i insisted for the same so he went to Home Depot, he calls from there, saying he left his wallet with his wife and asked for $50. On asking why he could not ask his wife to pay HD over the phone, he made some weird excuses about she being at work but same day afternoon and next all day she spent with him helping, which was weird to say the least. Day 2, he said he will place the order for matching crown moldings in Lake Elsinor 6 or 7 am and be at our place at 8am. He arrived at 10:30 or so and that he was stuck in traffic. No issues. Stops at home Depot and again asks for $50 which my wife Zelles to him, while even saying that he has $10-20k grand from the last job. Great. So how $50 is going to help !? While prepping up, he tried to use nearly an empty caulk tube, which semmed to have dried out and he tried to cut it open to use the caulk. I offered our own caulk tube but he said he had others in the truck and instead we later found out, he used mud to fill up some gaps in the base boards. Worst of his painting skill and lack of tools & sprayer, he sprayed our base boards and trims with a $75 paint sprayer and it sprayed all over the walls he had alreaady painted and the cabinets, etc., which he had not properly covered and worst part, it was all bubbly. Our very smooth trims and base boards are all ruined now. He had already put 2-3 coats on the walls. And it would now require yet another coat. And plus sanding and re-doing all the trims and base boards to remove the bubbles. And the edges of the contrast colors bled into each other at so many places. Shocked, we asked what happened, he said he possibly used some old semi-gloss white paint (which he said he had 5 gallons of and we need not buy) and that paint was stored in a warm storage and hence got messed up. But i could tell it was a completely Flat texture, compared to the trims on the original bathroom trims next to the bedroom. It was 2 days already and he had not completed 1 small 12 x 12 room. And my daughters room was not even half done, even though we had agreed to do one room first and see his work. It was our bad, that I was in meetings and my wife let him start that room. At the end of it, we still felt for them and paid him for one room, thinking he will come next day and fix it. That night, we realized that he had used our new 5 gallon Ceiling flat paint to spray our boards and trims. It was supposed to be sealed. Wtf !? We had paid for it and he had kept it in the truck and he went out and filled the sprayer with it and we did not know. He would not.allow us to enter the room and said when he finishes, he would show it to us. That night, i sent him a simple message, that he would need to fix the issue and complete this one room first with the crown molding he was supposed to install as well, which he had already ordered on day 2 morning. Next day, he read the message and replied that he is on his way to pick up the crown molding. And wife replied with a simple Ok. And then a string of nasty messages from him followed out of no where, that we stopped reading after a couple and blocked him. At one point, he said to keep his tools, the kid sprayer, etc., but we said we do NOT want it and come and collect it and which he did. Pls look at the mess he left us with. We tried to fix the walls ourselves, removing the excess white spray on our new gray walls and did not take pics till a day after, whe we had already patched the walls. And yeah, on one of the walls, he had painted over a green tape, which after removing left a mess which we had to fill/ patch like 3-4 times to lose the tape mark. Twice or thrice we had asked him to get his professional sprayer like Titan, and he said he had 3-4 of them, even better than Titan, each costing $4000, but he never brought them. That was another indicator that we should habe let him go at that point. Unfortunately this incident led to many arguments between me and wifey as she was keen to hire him over others for his paint and wood work skills he said he had as well. Many lessons learnt. - Always ask for references and call them. And preferrably a video of them doing the job over pictures from the internet. - Always make sure they bring the tools, sprayers, pro painters use, ladders, tarps, plastic, covering paper, etc. - Make sure they have working capital. - If they are cheap, they are for a reason.

With my credit card he purchased a paint sprayer for himself, pringles potato chips, Mountain Dew, sodas, Lays Potato chips, and Body Armor Strawberry Banana. He told me that the job would take two days. While working on the first day, he informed me that his wife was in his truck outside. It was so weird. Completely creepy. After three days of arriving late, he finally told me he was done. However, the job took him five days days. I wrote him a check for the work. Within hours of him leaving, two of the cabinet drawers fell off. There were holes in my cabinets that he did not fill. Screws were missing. Many of the doors were hitting each other when closed. A handle fell off. He got paint overspray on the side of my dishwasher. Paint splashes on the driveway. I messaged him to let him know that if he did not return to fix all of the mistakes that same day, then I would stop payment on the completion check. He did was a no show. He left my cabinets in terrible shape. Completely unprofessional.

Re: We would like to respectfully clarify a few points in response to Greg's reply message…read more Per Greg's direction, we were told to reconnect near the end of our project--specifically after countertops, finished plumbing and appliances were installed--so finishing work could be completed. Our appliances were installed in early May 2025, and we reached out accordingly, again during the summer and subsequent attempts without response, and again in December prior to move-in. At that time, we were told the remaining work would take approximately 1-2 days to complete. We have made consistent efforts over the past year to schedule completion, with extensive documentation (emails, texts, and call logs) showing multiple follow-ups from our side. There have also been several periods where we did not receive responses for weeks at a time. The cabinetry was largely installed in April 2025, at which point approximately 95% of the contract amount was paid as requested. Despite this, the project itself is not 95% complete and remains unfinished. To clarify, there was not a "9 month disappearance" as stated. There was a brief 2-day delay in April due to unrelated home issues, after which communication resumed and has continued since. We have an email acknowledging this from Greg with an apology. We also provided Greg with our contractor's contact information to coordinate final plumbing connections related to appliance installation. We have messages confirming this. Any difficulty connecting was not due to lack of access or coordination on our end. In December, after multiple attempts to obtain a timeline, we were told the project could be completed at the end of February. That timeframe passed without completion, and we were not proactively informed of any change or date. We followed up again and were told Greg was significantly behind on other projects and unable to provide a timeline. We then sent a formal request via email and text for a confirmed completion date and did not receive a response. At this point, several months have passed without a confirmed completion date for a project that has been largely paid for, which has been difficult to manage from a homeowner perspective. We have documentation of all communication and are happy to provide it for transparency if needed. Additionally, Greg is currently still in possession of some of our shelving, cabinet panels, doors, and mesh drawer components that we purchased. As of today, the remaining items include, but are not limited to: * Missing cabinet doors * Appliance panel installation * Mesh vegetable drawers * Missing and incomplete shelving (kitchen and living room nook, as well as inside cabinets) * Crown molding installation * Correction of uneven cabinet reveals (including at the island as shown in picture below) * Shelf edge banding/finishing showing exposed plywood and mismatched color * Visible gaps between cabinets and walls * Missing knobs and handles * Cabinet paint and stain touch-ups These items were expected to be completed to achieve the custom cabinetry finish that was discussed. We have photo documentation of these outstanding items. Throughout this process, we have remained professional and patient in our communication. All correspondence has been respectful and documented. We have made multiple good-faith efforts to resolve this directly, but to date have not received a confirmed plan, response to our formal messages, email or date for completion. Our goal has always been to complete the project professionally and bring it to a close. We have waiting patiently for months and still remain open to resolving this, but we do need clear communication and a confirmed plan and date to finish the work.

Then virtually no progress in June, July, August, September, and October. I eventually drove to their shop to get my cabinets as they were unable to return them. We reached out to Doug at the beginning of November and he said they could help us out. They custom built and installed our island. We found Ivan after searching for the right Ikea cabinet installation company for some time. He was showcased in a custom Ikea cabinet manufacturer page but what set him apart (and ultimately made us choose him vs. others) was the quality and attention to detail that was evident in the pictures from his previous jobs. Our installation consisted of various materials, standard Ikea Sektion boxes, custom acrylic upper doors (push to open), and custom white oak base and tall cabinets. When the job started, Ivan was quick to point out seemingly minor improvements to the original design that made a big difference: we were able to remove/relocate filler pieces that resulted in a cleaner installation. Which brings me to my second point. Whenever there was a decision to be made, however minor, Ivan took the time to stop and consult with us regarding how we wanted to proceed. This is a refreshing take as oftentimes contractors make their own choices without the client's input, resulting in costly changes down the road. Just like the pictures during our installer search, Ivan's work displayed a keen attention to detail. Ivan takes pride on his work and cares about the final product. For instance, after he installed the uppers, we felt that some of the gaps around a corner cabinet section were a bit bigger than the rest. Mind you, this was not a simple door adjustment, but Ivan took the time to remove previously installed side panels to make sure everything lined up precisely. Based on our experience, we would not hesitate to recommend Ivan and Innovation Cabinet Installs to anyone looking for the highest quality cabinet installation around.
