I even got compliments when I went for a blowout somewhere else a few weeks after - the stylist there was really impressed with how seamlessly the highlights were blended in. I was visiting from out of town and contacted this salon for a Wolf Cut, i was paired with a hairdresser, i discussed briefly what i was looking for and even provided photos of my last wolf cut and they assured me it would be no problem. I believe a lack of experience may have played a role but the haircut i received was just awful, it has impacted my work and has left me feeling very awful. I left a good tip because she kept dropping the clippers and stuff and seemed new. Id go elsewhere. read more

Been trying out a few haircut places in Rochester and none of them really stuck but this place is awesome. I had Collette for my first time and she did an amazing job on my extra blonde highlights and a fresh new layered cut. She kept asking if every step she was doing was what I wanted. She wanted to make sure it was perfect and she took the time to do that. Spent 3 hrs there but so worth it I got what I wanted (plus its nice taking the day for yourself at the salon). The salon is very clean and between each client they sanitize their stations. Very cozy vibe,only a few stylists there at a time. They also have pedicures,waxing and facials available at the salon. You can probably imagine how surprised and horrified I felt when I came home after my hair appointment and to see this strand of tiny hair when I put my hair up in a pony tail. It's only visible when up in a ponytail and I can't imagine that the stylist didn't realize what happened, yet still let me walk out of the salon without mentioning anything. Even worse, she later called to "apologize" stating she "might have cut too close to my root while texturizing my hair." I don't think this is a "might have" type of problem. I will give credit to the salon which immediately issued the refund I requested and were super apologetic about the situation. read more

Worst experience of my entire life ! I went here to get my hair done for my son's Wedding. I asked for Blond hair and I got Red Brassy,brown, and gray blotches. They offered to fix it and I guess this must have been funny to them because I left with ashy blond and reddish brown hair and within 12 hours without washing it - my hair turned Reddish Orange and look worst than the first time. I am mortified by how bad my hair looks ! They ruined my hair and my most important day! I will never forgive them for doing something so unprofessional and hostile ! read more

Julianna just always kills it. I've gone into her twice now when my normal girl was on breaks, but I'll be making the permanent switch. When I came in to see her last week, my hair had been suffering from an unfortunate impulse to go red (normally I'm blonde). The resulting color was... tragic. And kind of tan. I absolutely loved this experience! To start out with my history of hair care... nothing but the occasional heating my entire life with maybe one haircut as a 13yr old. Then jump to the pandemic, I bleached and died my hair numerous times within a year span, finally stopped and cut my hair to the shoulders. Then I have been growing it out ever since, I have grown to love my natural hair and the beauty it brings. I trimmed it once last year but this year decided to go ahead and start life in a new light. Focusing on the beautiful vessel we were all given. I have been living and eating a complete whole food plant based lifestyle for a couple years now and have noticed a shift in my hairs health and my overall bodies health. I have shifted my mind set to my overall being and am so glad Anna was able to help revive my hair a bit by removing the dead life and leaving a fresh shiny look. I looked at the reviews before coming here because I get scared of getting my hair done. I've had very bad experiences in the past. I was excited to see that I could book an appointment with Colette. I came in with a very loose idea on what I wanted and she was more than happy to help me gather an idea together. I will not lie, this was the best haircut and dye I have ever had. I told her to take control and do what you think looks good based on the ideas and past photos I have showed her. I still can't believe how happy I am with my hair!
