THE BEST LASHES IN MANHATTAN! Background: Unfortunately, it's been a while since I've been able to return to LashTouch, as I have moved out of Manhattan, that said, this review is long overdue! I started going to LashTouch in 2022 and it was one of the best decisions I made regarding self-care. While I'd consider myself relatively easy to please, LashTouch is a special business. The technicians are especially professional and their work is consistently the best quality; I truly miss coming to LashTouch and hope to make an appointment the next time I've got time in the city! The staff: Everyone who works at LashTouch is always attentive, professional, and very kind. In one instance, I was running late to an appointment and called and updated them accordingly. They honored my appointment despite my delay, as I have been a loyal client, which shows their care and commitment to quality service. I have never had any remotely negative experiences with any of the staff and I've been so pleased with everyone I've worked with. I eventually began to request a specific technician, Jay, as I specifically fell in love with her work; that being said, the other technicians I had in the past were nothing short of the best. LashTouch has the most consistently professional, quality (and kind) technicians! The environment: Upon arrival, clients are kindly asked to wash their hands, there is a station to do so in the front of the space, by the entrance/cashier. Every room (the lobby, the restrooms, the rooms where appointments take place) I've been in when at LashTouch is thoroughly cleaned and pristine; the staff does their very best to maintain the most hygienic standards. The lobby/waiting area is spacious, especially considering how condensed New York City is. I have never felt smothered or overwhelmed by the space being too crowded or busy, moreover, my appointments were always my my designated time for peace and quiet. There's a relaxing ambiance at LashTouch that is invaluable in such a busy city. The lashes: Even in my very first appointment, I found that LashTouch truly understood my wants and needs. Their 3D volume set worked perfectly for the shape of my (small and hooded) eyes and their lashes lasted longer than any I've gotten from any other business. There's never been any twisting or rotating of the lashes after application, they've even withstood my ever-so-frequent mid-life crises--tears and all. The 3D set I'd get from LashTouch lasted and still looked gorgeous even up to a month after application, which in my opinion, is a long time. In the past, the work of technicians from other businesses had only lasted a week or two before becoming disheveled or messy. The lashes at LashTouch are always applied evenly, without any pain or discomfort, and are simply stunning. After every session at LashTouch, I've always felt more confident than when I arrived. Conclusion: At first glance, the prices may seem steep, but hear me out. Lashes are (and should be?) an investment, and by investing in LashTouch and their quality service, you will be beyond satisfied and, moreover, happy with your investment. LashTouch is the best place for lashes in Manhattan if you want the utmost care and consistently quality work. This is the best eyelash place in NYC. This place is heavenly and perfectly designed to all details for beauty and comfort and style. This is the only place in manhattan that has private rooms for eyelash services. They have a total of 9 private rooms. Each room is super clean and beautifully designed and comfortable. Your lashes will be amazing and they last for 6-8 weeks. But my personal experience is that they last 1 month with most of the 50 or more lashes (depending on how many you order) per eye. After that it depends on your ability to not cry, not rub your eyes, not take steaming hot showers, not put high pressure shower head water directly on your eye, and not use harsh or oil based makeup remover, to name a few. I can't say how amazing the technicians are in doing lashes that look so natural and sexy. It's on the 4th floor of 4 East 46th street (between 5th and Madison Avenues. Ara was my lash designer and she was so sweet and skilled and sensitive to my wishes. She did a consultation before starting to make sure she did what I wanted. You can bring a picture of what you would like and she will work with that. The room was very comfortable and well lit and modern and the beds were ergonomic with remote control to elevator certain areas of your body during the application. I felt like I was floating on clouds and could totally go to sleep. You pay for the lashes based on how much and the types of lashes. They have a beauty and wash station with treats like gummies and candy and peanut butter cheese crackers. It's a total experience. If you refer a friend, you get 20% off. Even the bathrooms are very thoughtful with a little table for your bag and coat as well as hooks to hang things on. I definitely recommend coming here because the quality of the lashes are amazing and the customer service as well as the text message that you receive for your appointment. The address and details are very helpful, including the cross streets for the address so you don't have to google map it. This location is the only place I trust for my lashes. The location is clean, and they still take precautions for COVID (like requesting customers wash their hands upon arrival) which i really appreciate. I was a regular prior to the pandemic but since then I've only gotten my lashes done for special occasions. Now I'm back to my regular appointments and couldn't be happier. I've tried several other shops and I either have a bad reaction to the glue or my lashes aren't done the way I like them. What a gem! Unlike other lash extension places, this salon specializes in providing the best quality of service in individual private rooms. This is the first place where I've been to where they actually do that, and it's great because it offers more privacy. Plus it's so comfortable how their beds are motorized as well! Also not to mention, their waiting area and service is amazing too. They offer snacks, and have a makeup removal station stocked with contacts solution so that you can prep before the lash extensions. Before we started, the technician consulted me in regards to what lashes and style I wanted. I have gotten consistently good service at Lashtouch since I started getting eyelash extensions. It is easy to make a reservation and they always send reminders via text prior to the appointment which I really appreciate. Jane is my secret weapon when it comes to eyelash beauty! I really debated putting her name up here lest she becomes so fully booked that she won't be able to fit me into her schedule! She is fantastic and so careful with her work. She also puts me completely at ease during the process, even though I still have fears of my eyes getting glued shut. I've now been here a total of 3 times, and now that I'm no longer hyperaware during the process, I can actually relax and enjoy my beauty sleep (literally, I wake up and look like a different person). The rooms are always well-maintained and clean. They also now provide fleece blankets during the procedure so that you stay warm. While I don't see myself doing this for the long term, given that it can cause my natural lashes to become weaker, I am happy to know that I've found a technician and salon that I trust if I choose to do this in the future! read more

I've been doing eyelash extensions since November and been to 3 different places. When I discovered LashTouch a couple of months ago, I know I can stop salon hopping. In terms of appearance, it's very clean and there is a separate room per client. I've been to places where it's one big room with multiple massage beds. I like that it's private. My lashes stay on for 3-4 weeks before I need a refill. They also have great customer service and it's easy to book. New customers get 30% off and every 3 visits, you get a discount as well. I asked for a 2-D volume and I got a classic set and they literally charged me for the 2D but this looks nothing like it and I've got it done before. the lady took about 3 hours and left glue all over my hand. I really wanted to like this place considering I have a friend who goes to the one on 43rd Street and raves about it. My beloved lash technician in my regular eyelash spot was on vacation so I had to find a new place before some holiday shenanigans. I was sorely disappointed. They weren't too welcoming as soon as I arrived. No hello, just what's your name? Not even a tiny smile! The lash tech herself was not interested at all. I understand we all have your days but can we at least try? I requested the D lash and she flat out said, "No, we don't have this." And nothing, no suggestions, completely flat affect. Why advertise it if you don't carry it? I waited 2 weeks before I posted this to give a fair assessment, and again, even more so disappointed. My eyelashes barely stayed on and look like a mess! I went back today to 46th st location after expressing my disappointment and everything was what it should be.. they fixed my lashes and added extra for free and made sure I was satisfied with my service. Very friendly and welcoming. Was serviced by a senior technician and she was wonderful. I felt like they cared about my complaints and made sure to accommodate me as much as possible. I went here for the first time this week and wow do my lashes look AMAZING! When you first walk in the foyer is very pretty and they offer a sink with makeup remover to wash your make up off. The studio is very clean and hygienic and they have ACTUAL rooms not just curtain partitions like other eyelash studio. I was greeted by my eyelash technician for a consultation and then taken to a beautiful room with a opaque glass door and very comfortable bed that actual elevates your legs so you can nap comfortably while getting your lashes done. My eyelashes look amazing! I got the double touch in mink and the glamour style and have received so many compliments. For your first visit you get 30% off and an extra little discount if you pay in cash. I also used the yelp offer to get their lash gel to help your actual lashes grow faster. I really love how natural and full my lashes look and how clean the studio was. I've been to a few other studios and while the studio looks "pretty" it doesn't feel clean and there is always a lack of privacy between myself and other clients. LastTouch was an amazing first experience for eyelash extensions! I was impressed with their ratings and I spontaneously decided to visit for a full set of mink lashes. I was extremely nervous about my eyes not reacting well and didn't do much research beforehand. They were accommodating of my time when I came in a bit late, explained everything well, and were kind and patient when my eyes tensed up. I eventually relaxed and almost fell asleep - the experience was very calming. I had a full set of 80 lashes in each eye, c curl, 0.15 thickness, 11mm, and natural style. Literally the worst place on the planet. They will happily text you and tell you that they need to move your appointment back. But if you need to cancel or move your appointment, they are EVIL about it. Zero human compassion or understanding. They charge you $50 and make you feel like you just cancelled a kidney donation, rather than a 30 min lash appointment. Horrific humans. ZERO customer loyalty. The woman who works at reception is EXTREMELY rude. She constantly yells and speaks in a very rude tone of voice. Twice they messed up my appointment time. Also, google says they open at 10am. I arrived early for my appt and I was yelled at and told to go away until my appt time. I will never come back here.
