Today around 2:50 pm I made a delivery order for 2 of empires Russian burger meals and 1 west bbq burger meal. The order came to $39.73 . About 40 minutes later my order still had not arrived so I called empire thinking maybe the driver got lost despite id ordered from empire just 24 hrs ago so I call them say hey I placed a order at 2:50 pm and it's now 3:30pm I think your driver maybe lost..... to which the reply from the woman on the phone was" well she's supposed to be there" meaning the driver and before I could say hey you might want to look for her I get told" sir you need to be patient it's only been 30 minutes.... And made sure she was snarky about it... another 15 minutes later the driver arrived and offered no apology no nothing..... naturally at the point the food was cold and the fries were soggy... pretty much made sure I'll never order from them again read more

Ordered online tonight for pickup and if I hadn't already paid through a third party app I wouldn't have left with my food tonight. There were approximately 10 employees behind the counter working and IF they had a mask on, it was on their chin or under their nose. The man making pizza had gloves on but his mask was on his chin. I watched him wipe his nose with his gloved hand then reach into the cheese. I was disgusted. The two cooks in the back making the sandwiches/wraps both didn't have a mask or gloves on. They forgot a side we ordered/paid for, and a wrap had tomatoes when we asked for none. I understand it was a dinner rush and the errors with my order wasn't what bothered me. Nobody likes wearing a mask. Suck it up. You're touching people's food. I will not be ordering from here again. read more

Ive ordered from this location on dozens of occassions but this last time was the last. The staff that i have dealt with has always been kind & seem to care which is the only reason for the 2 star or it would get zero, but there is a disconnect between the staff & the food. The pizza was DECENT but the wings were absolutely horrid. Not only do they come with 10 wings instead of a traditional dozen, 4 of them were for some reason rock hard overcooked & there was hardly any meat to them. I wont name where but theres a place not far that offers the same 24 cut pizza & they offer a dozen wings & the wings always have alot of meat. But for 24 cut & 10 wings with a 2 litre came to $53 (before tip) i just ordered from the other place, 24 cut 24 wings & a 2 litre... $54 (before tip)& the wings are saucier meatier & edible. Very disappointed in Empire Pizza Hudson Falls NY. My special needs brother ordered food it came to $21 and some odd change. The delivery girl came with food and my brother gave her $60 and the delivery girl gave him no change. His daughter normally handles giving the money but was in the bathroom. When called and talk Empire and explained the situation was supposed to get a call back to my cell. instead they call our house number apologizing and saying will give money back that night supposedly. Because again they talk to my special needs brother. He waited all night for his money. No one came. Then I wrote a email to them. Still nothing. I will never order from this place again. Not sure why others are having such issues. I have been ordering from this place since moving here four years ago. The food, no matter what I order is always very good, cooked well, generous proportions, and promptly delivered. Sorry that others have had negative experiences, but I would be lying if I were to say otherwise. On the other hand, I am also considerate enough to tip which may have an influence. I don't care who you are, where you order from, they remember those who tip, and those who stick you. In a time when everyone is doing their best to survive, working two jobs, it should be a given. I placed my order online like I do twice a week for about a month and a half. 2 hours later I call to find out what is holding it up. I'm told by the girl that answered that they don't deliver to my location and that I need to use their Glens falls location. I've been using their Hudson falls location all this time because it's closer. 2 hours and no call, but they did take my money already and they didn't send the order to the other location. I asked to speak to the manager and when the girl told the manager, I heard him in the background using cuss words and saying "F that, I'm not speaking to that S!" I called the Glens falls location after and they were apologetic. We will see how they are. That manager needs to be fired 100%. I will let everyone know how they treat folks. read more

I'm so angry right now. I used their online ordering system, as I have many times before, to order delivery to my work address. I was called and told it's too far for them to deliver here (again, we have done it many times before). The girl on the phone then told me I would have to go into the restaurant to get my refund. I paid with my credit card but apparently they won't refund my card. My work address is within their delivery range so I'm not sure where these new rules started but it was not listed on their website. I just stopped for a quick lunch. The staff seems helpful and polite. The food leaves a lot to be desired. I ordered a blt chicken wrap. When it came to the table, I saw a lot of very fatty bacon and loads of over cooked chicken pieces. I ate one half and was not impressed. Bacon was very chewy and almost no tomato or lettuce. I could not eat the other half. Not because I was full. Btw, the "normal" wrap and a 20 oz soda cost over $8. I am not saying it's outrageously priced. Just surprised there were not chips or a pickle. I would think a similar order just about anywhere else would come with chips and/or a pickle for a similar price. I have only ordered from Empire Pizza a handful of times. It's normally pretty good, but today was not very great at all. I ordered a Buffalo Chicken salad and was offered a choice of mild, hot, or honey bbq. I ordered mild and I expected a smoky vinegar smell that normally accompanies anything "buffalo". I received the order and had to put it in the breakroom without inspecting it because I was busy at work. When I was able to come back, I noticed a sweet pickle smell. As I opened the container I saw an almost neon orange/pink color on the chicken. Not typical of Empire. I called and asked what the available flavors are for "Buffalo" and they repeated the same choices. ( i was expecting sweet and sour to be an option for the way the chicken looked) I told the employee that mine was off color and I was told that their mild "buffalo" is hot sauce and bbq sauce. I can't eat that much sugar so I let this one go but won't be ordering from them again. They can have my money this time. They should also explain - on the menu - what the customers can expect because this is NOT buffalo sauce and therefore not a buffalo chicken salad. read more

So today I ordered over forty five dollars of food for lunch an dinner durning there not busy time. I ordered fried chicken dinner an asked if it can not be over cooked an she said she would make sure it was not over cooked,well guess what it was more over cooked then usual.the rest of the order was chicken Parmesan grinder which for some reason had mustard on it, makes no sense.well I didn't call them till that evening when we went for the subs that I had also ordered one was a simple turkey an Swiss sub with tomatoes an onions an oil an vinegar,It had a half slice of Swiss on one half an none on the other one slice of tomatoe,the other sub was an empire special sub, comes with turkey ham, provolone an BACON!!! So finally I had enough of so many mistakes for one order an I called an told them about the chicken she try's to cover the phone while telling the owner he immediately got foul mouth an was saying I complained for ten years,,, I have been a customer for six years, an he told me they will not serve me an don't call no more. Avoid this place at all costs. I would give zero stars if possible. Every time I order there is an issue. Same order every time and they mess up every time. I specifically say what I want and do not want on my sub and they can never get it right. Missing tomatoes the last 2 times. Sometimes I get the completely wrong sandwich. And I call back and get an attitude??? Just tried to call a pick up order in and pay with my card over the phone so my wife could pick up on the way home. They said oh no we can't run the card. You have to bring it in. So what was up with the last 5 times I've done this?? Not to mention the owner accused me of "not picking up order" when that is something I have never done. No exaggeration the WORST customer service anywhere around. Anything fried is trash because they never change their oil and you can taste it. If the fries are even edible and not 5 hours old. Horrible service every time There are way better pizza places to order from. Save yourself the headache. Stopped by a few weeks ago for a bite with my son. Stood at the front counter for a few minutes and the staff wouldn't even acknowledge our presence of even make eye contact. So we sat for ten minutes after seating ourselves and waited nearly ten more minutes with again, absolutely no acknowledgement of the staff. Finally, got up and left while still being ignored and walked to I Love N.Y. pizza and was treated like a human and got a great meal. I absolutely love the pinwheels.. However, it's happened a total of 3 times now!! My husband and I order the same order each time, he orders meatball and pepperoni pinwheels and he orders the sausage, green peppers and onions for me. He has almost an hour drive home from there and when he gets home both of the orders are the same. 2 meatball and pepperoni pinwheels orders. The first time we let it slide " mistakes happen " second time I went in and personally made it clear that it happened twice so far and now I'm honestly considering to not even bother anymore.. No apologies were even offered just a girl laughing and a young guy saying it was him with a shrug.. Seriously! This place is horrible the owner is very rude fixing my order by telling me he will no longer deliver out to my house 7.6 miles exactly. My food was Ice cold having to heat it back up in my oven. I thought the point of takeout/delivery was to be able to eat it hot when it got home. But I guess for this establishment the owner could careless. I personally do not recommend this place. Not to mention it's really not the cleanest or most sanitary kitchen to eat or work at. They have decent food and I really only like their salads. But every time I order anything else they always forget something or make the wrong order. I ordered the honey bbq wings and they gave me buffalo. They also forgot to bring my pizza up to the door too (good thing it was in the guys car). When I called they tried telling me that honey bbq was made like that. Then it took them almost an hour to remake my food and deliver it. Empire just lost a weekly customer after over a year of ordering from them. Over the last year we have received multiple errors on their end with no complaints from us and continue to go through them due to the convience of online ordering and location. The last 3 times we've ordered they completely messed up the order, we complained last time and today. Tonight they tried telling us the mistake was our fault, even though we have been ordering the exact same things for over a year. Used to order here a lot . Order food today (3/9) @hudson falls , 30 wings mild and a small calzone with mushrooms . Food came 55 minutes later. Except only 20 wings and no calzones. Mistakes happen, I call the women on the phone at first was super nice apologized . She verified my order and said she'd send them right out. Another 55 minutes later a delivery guy comes with 10 wings and no calzone. When we asked for the calzone the driver had no answer. He said they only sent him with the wings and told us to call back and they'd send it. No problem again mistakes happen. When I called back I got the same women on the phone . When I told her the situation she told me , in so many words, that I was a liar and then I could here the manager in the background saying it was 2 hours later it's too late and my story doesn't match up. Really? So I got $20 worth of my 43 dollar purchase . Told I was a liar, a refusal for the calzone I purchased and they also refused me a refund just on the calzone. I was told they were too busy to deal with my issue and then called a bitch. Great customer service skills. I'll be letting everyone I know of my experience.
