    a container of lettuce

$10 salad????? Do yourself a favor and don't order this salad. This is about a dollars worth of lettuce that they charge $10! RIP OFF CITY! Also, your pizza was ehhh. Do better if you are calling yourself Brooklyn Pizza!!!

    Meh wings

Pizza is great; wings are edible but not good, salads are an overpriced joke. I'd add a photo, but I tossed the entire thing when I noticed the rotting tomato (the remainder of the salad was unwashed iceberg, one sad old pepperoncini pepper, red onion, feta, and cheddar- weird addition, I know)....they didn't have Greek dressing or any vinaigrettes, so we settled with oil & vinegar. $9 is pretty steep for a small side salad with no meat or real greens. We've ordered here three times and have yet to be wowed. Will continue the search for great pizzeria in Hudson Falls!

Take out Pizza tonight from here was great. The traffic circle is a pain but we'll worth the trouble to get an excellent pizza.

They offer coffee & espresso drinks, tea, draft beer, bottle beers, ciders, seltzers, wine, and soft drinks. For food, they served up bistro fare including baked goods, bagels, breakfast sandwiches, quiche, soups, salads, wings, flatbreads, pizza, lasagna, mac & cheese, quesadillas, and desserts. They offer full service dining and takeout and online ordering (prices higher in Clover). The place has a nice inviting relaxed atmosphere with exposed brick walls, shiny wood floors, oriental rugs, bar counter seating, high top table seating, couches & coffee tables. I stopped by Falcons recently for a late lunch and decided to eat in. I ordered the Quiche Lorraine ($10 plus tax) and the Mac & Cheese ($9 plus tax) with an ice water. My food was served to me in about 12 minutes after ordering. The portions of food were very good for the price. The Quiche Lorraine were 2 slices of quiche which were very dense with pieces of ham in a rich cheese & egg blend in a flaky crust, a bit of a saltier flavor. The Mac & Cheese had firm cavatappi macaroni smothered in a rich cheese sauce. I finished much of the food ordered, but I needed a small box for the extra slice of quiche, which I enjoyed for breakfast the next day. Overall, I enjoyed a nice filling lunch at Falcons Brewhouse with friendly service. I was also told that the menu here is evolving and changing with the charcuterie board being discontinued. I noted that the in-restaurant menu prices were significantly lower than the Clover prices for online ordering. You can call in your order for takeout and pay the lower in-restaurant prices.

A fairly short drive brought me to this little seafood shack; it is located in what seemed to be a kind of out of the way neighborhood. From the outside it looks charming, just a nice New England hang out; inside is even better with 2 compact dining rooms decorated with a nautical theme and a metal roof. When I arrived at about 6 on a Friday night the place was almost full with a couple of larger parties enjoying themselves. The menu is great for me since it is almost exclusively fish and seafood, with a good selection of preparations; even better there was another page of specials that are a bit more upscale. Since I was hungry and just wanted to keep it simple I choose the all you can eat fish fry off the menu. Considering how busy the restaurant was my meal came out in about 10 minutes. A nice basket with 4 fish fillets, fries and coleslaw. The highlight was clearly the fish with perfectly cooked moist white fish in a great batter with just enough spices to perk the fish up. The fish was so good that I actually finished the 4 fillets and then got 2 more. The fries were very thin cut and crispy. The coleslaw is what you would expect, good but nothing special. I was very impressed with Adirondack Seafood, the fish was excellent and the sides were good. The price was reasonable and the portions were generous. Service was good and the atmosphere is charming and fun. I would strongly recommend giving them a try. About the only downside is that outside of fish and seafood there are not a lot of choices; not an issue for a pescetarian like me but could be an issue for those who are serious carnivores.

As a member of the Lake association I was allowed to rent the association clubhouse building for Friday and Saturday. Everyone had a wonderful time. Dwight and his staff showed up promptly on time, set up quickly and efficiently. They were very accommodating and cooperative and were a contributing factor in success of my daughter's wedding. I give him a solid five stars! It would be a six if there was such a thing. ;) They are based locally in Hudson falls and their pretended recipes, service and prices are beyond reproach. Book early if you are interested in using his services, because he is swamped. He brings everything to the table (literally) and leaves nothing to chance. Thank you Dwight from Big D's BBQ. And a special thanks to his two staff members who were kind, helpful, professional and attentive!!! The smoked barbecue chicken, the pulled pork, and especially the brisket that got wiped out quickly was the talk of the party! The finger rolls and cornbread were the best I've ever tasted. This was served with an excellent coleslaw and a fabulous potato salad. Dwight made sure that there was absolutely no shortage of any of the catered food. We contracted for 50 guests. But I swear he cooked enough food for 100. I literally just spent 2 hours packing away the leftovers this morning. This is after insisting that anyone who wanted and could please take a large pan of barbecue products home! Don't forget that they have multiple flavors of custom BBQ sauces. Each one is different and unique but very flavorful. I found them pleasantly, very thick and he suggested I stretched them a little with red wine vinegar which of course, extended the yield of each bottle!! He gave me two bottles during the contracting time which I experimented with various meats leading up to the wedding. And they were overly exceptional! I can see why the reviews were so fabulous! Thank you !!!!

What amazed me was the chicken. I was surprised when I asked which of their barbecues they used to make it taste so good and they said "actually, none, it's just our special rub season blend and slow cooked". No wonder I didn't make a mess! They directed us to sample their selection of barbecue sauces and we agreed the blueberry was so good, we picked up a bottle! The chicken and bbq sauces are 5 stars. Not a fan of the coleslaw though, too spicy for me (I remember that from last time too, chicken was incredible, even the biscuit was really, really good, although small, but if I'm being completely honest, the slaw, I had to pass on both times.) One other time, was a party and they were catering. I had pulled pork sandwiches and it was maybe the best pulled pork sandwiches I ever had. Between the epic slow rub chicken and those sandwiches, I decided they deserve a great review. Super yum chicken and friendly service, giant portion chicken and potato makes up for small biscuit (tip, you're going to love these, ask for 2 of those). I highly recommend though if you ever want to experience what I believe is perfectly cooked bbq chicken (delicious right off the grill, even if you forget to add the sauce!)
