I called Mercedes to see if they do body work and they recommended me to a collision place "they use". After reading their reviews, I knew I was NOT going there. I did a search and found a Touch of Class Collision. I called, and the staff was friendly attentive and caring. The young man who drove me to the rental place was so friendly and professional as well. Yesterday, 4 February, I finally picked up my car. It took a while but that was because the other insurance company took their time to get adjusters etc. When I got there, Gabe came out to greet me, they pulled my Alpine white, 300C up and I was floored. It looked like a brand new car, like it had come out of the showroom. Gabe explained the work they did and that the impact was much more that it showed superficially. The inside was spotless, the trunk, glove compartment everything was just spotless and so clean. This morning my dad went to charge the battery and he said even the engine is spotless and so clean. The body is shiny and brand new looking and they also left a tube of paint just in case:). I highly recommend A Touch of Class Collision. Gabe is super and the staff is amazing. It's here that you'll find great service and awesome people. Flashback to when I was first starting to drive and my 95' Chrysler Cirrus looked like it was nearing the end of its days. Our mechanic at the time wasn't the friendliest of fellows and basically told us the car was done for....until we decided to take it elsewhere. Enter J&T who not only were able to help in fixing up my outdated automobile, but kept it working for years after. Nowadays, I don't frequent J&T as often (we lease most cars), but every now and then we need an oil change, inspection, or...ya know, I hit something. But when I come here, I know I'm getting honest and truthful work from local guys who really connect with their customers. Whether it's talking to Billy, Scott, Scott's son John, or any employee, you feel like you're getting a group of workers who care (and care for your car!). Better yet, the prices are always fair and they'll do what they can to save you a few bucks. Overall, as long as I'm living local, I'll be coming to J&T Auto Repair and Rebuilders. I called him to fix some scratches and what looked like paint transfer, but he quickly identified underlying dents. His quote was thousands less than what local autobody shops quoted. He came right to my apartment, set up in the garage, and had everything perfect in under 3 hours. Friendly, professional, highly skilled, and completely honest. Finally, an autobody pro I can trust! would not recommend this painter based on my experience. I…read morepaid $1,200 to have my car painted, and the quality of the work was far below what was promised. The paint finish is extremely rough and uneven, with visible texture throughout the repaired area. There is overspray on surrounding panels, poor blending between sections, and the overall finish looks rushed and unprofessional. I contacted the painter about these issues, but the problems remain unresolved. A proper paint job should have a smooth, consistent finish and attention to detail, neither of which was delivered in my case. I am posting this so others can make an informed decision before hiring this painter. I have photos documenting the condition of the vehicle after the work was completed.
