I was hesitant and a bit nervous to place him in a daycare but The Goddard school and the staff made me feel confident and happy about my decision. From the facility being super clean and organized, the safe drop off and pick up process, amazing directors and staff this place was awesome. My son's first teachers were Ms. Noel and Ms. Pam, two incredible people. My son fell in love with Ms. Pam. They taught him a few words in sign-language , table manners, and how to play with others. I loved how they sent me photos of him throughout the day thru an app. And if anything happened to my son even a small scratch they would tell me immediately. When my son transitioned to the next class it was hard for him at first to leave his " first love" lol but soon enough he adjusted to Ms. Catey and Ms. Myeisha. Was sad to see him cry on the his last day when we said goodbye. Above it all I loved how structured and fun it was. They did daily activities to match with the weekly theme. I now have plenty of artwork from his first year of daycare. I can go on about the school but know it's a great place where your child will be safe, loved, and learn so much. Hard to find child care here in San Diego that compares to this school.

The majority of the staff that were there the day we joined the NGCC family are still there today, and that says everything. I was very impressed with the diverse curriculum and the attention they give each child. NGCC having an onsite kitchen and chef that prepares healthy, kid friendly meals for the students was a life saver for this working mom because I didn't have to spend the time packing up meals each night. Instead, I was able to spend that time with my family which was invaluable. Children are life's greatest treasures, and I want to thank everyone at NGCC Marlborough for taking such great care of my little man when I couldn't be there. After my first child was born (because you can never predict how it will go), I ended up pushing back my start date and changing it to part time for the first month. They were very accommodating, although I'm sure it was a scramble. They have lived up to everything that was reviewed back when I was interviewing. When I had my second child, I briefly considered hiring a nanny for early morning flexibility and not having to take time off due to child sick days, but I ended up enrolling her at the Cottage because I felt so comfortable with the infant teachers and the school. We remained at the Cottage into 2018 when we moved out of the area, but experienced safe, reliable, and friendly teachers and helpers from infant, toddler, to the 2's classroom. I wouldn't say it is perfect, but the director does her best to communicate changes and any concern I've had was quickly addressed by the teachers and never had to be escalated higher. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a center based childcare.

Dr Fernandez is very open and clear about their protocols and what is expected from the children as far as contact between kids, mask wearing, and hygiene, which was very reassuring and made me feel comfortable sending my son. They also have a large outdoor space where they spend a significant amount of time in the summer months. My son absolutely loved his time there and always had something fun to tell me about when I picked him up. He enjoyed the weekly themes and the crafts and activities that go along with each week's theme. My son had clearly made a genuine connection with many of the staff and other kids there in just three short weeks, which I believe reflects greatly on the caring nature of the staff and nurturing atmosphere that they create.
