Do not ever come to this place. The owner is super unprofessional and has their workout equipment outside by cars. Waste of time and money

Wow. Just wow…read more After a long and strenuous battle of getting out of Fitness Works clutches, I'm back in them again. I joined fitness evolution on a special promotion in January. $10 a month with no contract, cancel anytime. I get a charge on my card for $39 on March 20th for "Fitness Works ABC*. I begrudgingly call Fitness Works they tell me that apparently my account was never cancelled, (I sent in a written cancellation 8 months ago with no payments since.) They tell me to call customer service, so I do. They lady tells me my account has been cancelled for 8 months and she is not sure why I got a charge. She asks for my cancellation letter and a copy of my bank statement. I give it to her. She calls me back 10 minutes later and tells me oh looks like you joined fitness evolution in January. Apparently Fitness Works "merged" with Fitness Evolution. The $39 charge was an "annual fee", that I certainly did not agree too. She asks me if I have my contract, I told her I didn't have it and that Fitness Evolution never gave me a copy. I asked her if she had it, she told me that they where still getting all of the paperwork from the gym. I asked this ignoramus if I can send her a written cancellation like I did previously. She declined, and told me the new management was cracking down on cancellations. So, Fitness Works do you make it a habit of blindly charging your customers cards without any documentation? You have no problem charging my card without my knowledge or approval, but you make me jump through hoops to cancel my membership with your shitty gym. Peace.

They have more stations available than other locations I've been to, so they can accommodate more people and little to no waitlist! Nothing worse than wanting to workout and seeing a full class or waitlist on the app. I can't say I have a favorite coach either, all are great and give feedback if you're the exercise wrong. Orangetheory has definitely changed my life- couch potato to OTF frequenter 3-4 times a week. It's not about the destination but the journey. The community is amazing. The workout is great and is constantly changing. There was just a rowing challenge, Hell week and the benchmark workouts that test your limits. This is definitely my favorite location!

I did that and then they said "oh you had to have that in by the 30th". Then they said they would pull up the recorded call and so I said "great" and then they mysteriously couldn't find it. The manager, Daphne, refused to honor their word. I had intended to come back after I healed but now I will NEVER come back, nor will I ever recommend Orange Theory. Very unprofessional. Also, there is no guidance or minimal guidance by the trainer and I observed a lot of very unsafe lifting practices going on. People will get injured in these conditions. My injury was not related to this, but I thought many times looking around the room...wow...it's only a matter of time. People with terrible form, using momentum to lift, etc and the trainer not saying a thing. So dangerous. In my opinion this company cares more about collecting money than caring for their customers. Shameful.

And then there are people like me who like food who have to go to the gym to work off those extra calories or "treats" I like food a lot and therefore I am stuck going to a gym to keep in shape and to lose weight like the majority of the U.S. and world need to. But with the help of people like Frank the owner/ head trainer of TNT fitness you can do it. It's people like him.who will work with you either by kicking your butt, complimenting the small stuff, and reminding you to come back to the gym when it's so much easier to do other things then get into shape. My father started going back in 2000 and I started soon after. I love working out there, it's like a mini family, everyone is there for the purpose of getting into shape and getting it done quickly. Its nice to work out with plenty of people from all walks of life and no one sitting there kissing their biceps like you see at other private gyms. (shudder) Frank is a knowledgeable and pretty tough trainer. He is always the resource for nutrition, dieting, weight loss/gain, strength training, cardio, supplements, protein, and the list goes on. He will sit down with you from the beginning, do simple things like health history, past exercise routines that work for you, age related issues, and he will do a free session to get a feel for what you need. It's nice to have a trainer ask you what your goals are, how you can achieve them, and how he will and can help you do that. There's cardio equipment, weights and it's a real gym with pretty much everything you need. BTW Frank is moving into a bigger place with more activities being added so everyone who is an aerobics class junkie, a weightlifter, a person needing to lose weight, to a kid wanting to gain muscle or definition, anything you need fitness wise it will happen here. Another thing that is so great about TNT Fitness is that Frank will call you when you want to miss an appointment because well you just don't want to go to the gym, or you're tired sore etc. Frank doesn't yell or demean you, sorry Jillian fans. nor is he like Bob he's not going to hold your hand to make you put down the cheeseburger. Frank is a great trainer, he is supportive, helpful, and will tell you like it is. Whether you want to hear it or not is, well up to you. I have to say you will not regret coming through this door and starting the journey to getting into shape, eating healthy, and working to finding the better you. Do it!

Love training with Gabriel. He keeps it fresh and obtainable. I get bored easily so I haven't kept up with working out in the past. But Gabriel respects that and changes it up constantly. He amazes me with his knowledge of every muscle in the body and knowing that a little tweak in a different direction targets a totally different muscle. I trust him to make sure I'm not overdoing and AMAZINGLY, I'm not sore anymore (like I was the first week), but I'm seeing MAJOR results. Total professional - 100% attention during my workout. (P.S. Zumba in the evening at this location too)

But the main trainer is one of the best I've experienced. I felt it was ideal for beginners and those who have experience training. Every boot camp class was different and I attended 3 a week. Different music was played each class, so it was never the same. Each boot camp class had different exercises so I was never bored. We worked on every aspect of exercise, core, cardio, weight training, stretching, etc. The teacher did go back and forth from English and Spanish which I thought was considerate since both Spanish and English speaking people were attending the class. One of the things I noticed was since I had bought a groupon, the trainers at the gyms I attended are notified you're a groupon buyer, almost like a label, and didn't show as much attention to me as they did to others. As a groupon buyer you're not paying full price so it can show from the place you're at they won't give you full service. At this gym this wasn't the case. On two different occasions I was the only one who showed up for the boot camp class and instead of him cancelling he provided 1 on 1 personal training. He was basically working for free but trained me like a full paying customer. Bottom line he's an excellent trainer who knows his stuff and cares about everyone that walks in the door. The gym may not be the biggest or the newest but that's nothing in comparison to receiving quality training. And that's what you'll get at GAP fitness.

I looked it up and saw that there is a trial class free and was able to sign up and get there within the hour. Huge thanks to Yvette who taught the class and Crystal who helped me get my waiver signed and gave me the lay of the land before and after the class. I've been to my fair share of gym classes and was really impressed with how spacious and clean this facility is. Also, Yvette was amazing with names and motivation and led us all through a thorough warm-up and cool down. The other women in class were welcoming and there were high fives given multiple times. I did modify a few exercises and was happy that this was not frowned upon. It's also worth noting that there were people of all fitness levels in class and that it was just a really supportive environment all around. As much as I hate burpees, I actually felt great doing them as a finisher at the end of class today. Needless to say, I got a great workout and I do hope to visit again soon.
