These people are dishonest. They sell themselves as a low cost gym, but they are not. When they opened, I signed up myself and several of my kids. One of my sons moved to Utah to work as a river guide. He paused his membership because there is no gym in Moab. When the season was over he moved to Provo and tried to reactivate his membership. Instead of doing that, these guys canceled his membership and signed him up as a new member... at the higher rate. We were locked in at introductory prices. Totally dishonest. When my son confronted them on it they said there was nothing they could to about it. Now, my youngest is getting older and wants to go to the gym with me. He is 14. I should be able to take him with me because I have guest privileges. But no! You can't bring your kids... they have to be at least 16 years old. But don't worry, you can buy them their own membership at 14 years old, you just can't bring them as a guest. Again these people are dishonest. I was fed some line about waivers and policy. I really want to love this gym, but the lack of basic gym etiquette is becoming a serious issue. If you're resting between sets, step off the machine and let others work in. You don't own the equipment until you're completely finished. Sitting on a machine scrolling your phone for several minutes while others wait is rude and inconsiderate. And please--clean what you've touched. Wipe down machines, benches, and mats when you're done. It's basic courtesy and hygiene in a shared space. Gyms are shared spaces. Be aware of your surroundings, be efficient, and respectful of other members' time. A little consideration would go a long way in improving the overall experience here. read more

Literally, the worst fitness center I've ever experienced...well, tied for that designation with LA Fitness. I'd quit my membership if there was any other fitness center in the area with a pool. The staff work there for their free membership and very little else. It's no wonder members don't adhere to the rules for equipment, pool or hot tub usage when I see employees not doing so on a nearly daily basis. I won't bother taking my complaints to the general manager at the center as it's obvious from the staff behavior that the manager has no desire to actually manage their staff. I will, however, be contacting regional management for EOS Fitness. Don't worry, general manager, I have your email address and will cc you. As a competitive endurance sports athlete who requires a fitness center as part of my training world, EOS Fitness Signal Butte has been a constant disappointment as the poor manner in which the center has been run since day one makes just getting in to train never that simple. To those who would say I should take my business elsewhere, there are no other fitness center options near me. That does not mean, however, that I and the other members should be forced to accept a low quality fitness center experience. read more

Avoid at all costs, literally. They frequently engage in fraudulent billing practices based on the enormous amount of reviews from multiple locations. Additionally, they accused me of lying to trial the pool for 7 days. I was given 5 days and scheduled to return to the same jerk consultant to push a membership I don't need. The sales consultant never greeted me or introduced himself. He tried to sell me personal training when I said repeatedly I am only here to swim and have disabilities. Cloudy pool water, feces everywhere, teens playing in lap pool, harassment not being addressed. Yeah, no this isn't a safe space. Really disappointed. I'm paying $300 a month to do Personal training and my first session. My person didn't even show up. Nobody apologized to me. Nobody came and talk to me and nobody even tried to make up for it. I just did my own workout and did my own thing. The lack of management and leadership here was really sad. read more

WARNING as an older lesbian couple I will say it again WARNING you will get ripped off. Joined the EOS in East Mesa, got the higher priced one so my wife could come when she wanted. First trip in wife is directed to iPad at end of counter to sign in. From that moment until today, 1.5 years later, EOS is deducting $9.99 from our account. I have submitted NUMEROUS complaints with NO result. EOS has received and escalated this to their Loss Dept. and while they investigate their error, they continue to deduct money from my account. We love EOS! Everyone is always friendly no matter what location we go to and we like to go to several locations just because we can. My husband is a part of the Silver Sneakers program. After some attempts to get it straightened out so he could enter any EOS with his Silver Sneakers card (instead of on my card as a guest), we FINALLY got everything updated and taken care of thanks to Destiny (at this location). Gym is good but day care is seriously questionable. A lot of the staff are on their phone majority of the time and they yell at the kids like they are their own children. It's not all the staff but majority of the day care staff who are unqualified teenagers who seem like they are just waiting to get out of there & there has been multiple times where the cameras don't work. Ive had to go home multiple times because their cameras were not up. THIS SHOULD BE A REQUIREMENT CHECK LIST BEFORE THE DAY CARE HOURS. I'm a stay at home mom and this is the only time I have to myself. My daughter never wants to come here. (The gym daycare specifically). It's crazy because she goes to the church day care and she is extremely excited .. (and they it's pure volunteer work) Ive had to tell the manager to not let parents behind in the day care area because it is not safe to the other kids. (They finally put a sign up that parents cannot enter past) THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THE GYM AND THE STAFF DONT TAKE THIS SERIOUS ENOUGH. This is our children we are leaving in your hands ! I'm not taking my daughter here anymore, unfortunately.. unless something changes. They need to put stricter policies and hire people who actually like being around kids. Crowded,Crowded,the pool is infected with bacteria,murky and muddy,I was told they do not invest in 100% cleaning and disinfection because " it's full of children", yes, a manager on-site told me. I joined and they lied to me, I am a swimmer, so I hit the iron instead,soon I will move back to LA Fitness. The crowd here moves like zombies, everyone is on their own browsing world,the girls do not even make eye contact,they are scared,they are ashamed of probably not having a male or female companion or true friend. Gloomy browsing, I call it. The guys are not interested in the nice looking girls walking around almost naked,skin tight outfits. I am so glad I happily grew up on another era. Only use this gym and company if you plan on not moving to any other state that doesn't have EOS canceling is atrocious even when sending in the information requested I was still out of pocket over $160 for nothing. This gym is advertised as better than the rest. It is no better than any other gym when it comes to taking money out of your pocket even though the account was closed. Figure out your policies and get everyone on the same page. Just driving by, you can see the parking lot and determine if it's worth your time and the headache. There's nowhere to park at all! If you do find parking and get inside, all those people who took up the parking spots are inside of the gym! It is a zoo inside with all these people. I took my 16 year old in to sign up for the $9.99 membership. The sales person upsold to the next highest membership. We go to pay and I ask if we can use my card for the first payment and signup fee and my daughter's card thereafter. She said yes, no problem. A few months later I had a notice from my credit card company that there was a possible fraudulent charge. I look and EOS had charged my card $50. I called and was told she was signed up for the highest membership with a late fee. I asked why my card was charged. I found out not only did they start charging her for the highest membership when we asked for the middle membership, but they had never put her card on the account. I had been paying for months. I said, remove my card immediately. They said they couldn't. I said, then cancel the membership. They also said they couldn't. They had me create an account by giving my daughter's email and account info and then cancel. They charged me $30 to cancel effectively immediately. This was after knowing they were overcharging me every month and knowing my card should not have been charged in the first place. I was given Tyger's information, the district manager. I emailed him about it. No refund for any portion of their error or for the cancelation for them to correct it. I wrote a Google review. They replied, sorry, please call to correct this. I call and still no help or refund for any portion. Do not sign up here! The billing is crooked. read more

If I could give a zero I would. This place is nothing but scammers. They lie about what they will charge you. I signed up for what I was told was 4 personal training sessions over 2 weeks for $19.99 only to find out it was a two month program where I would be charged over $1000. My membership was to be free through my Advantage plan, yet EOS signed me up for a different plan and debited my checking account $69.99 and schedule it to be debited $10/month. When I complained, the manager (Ben) promised to refund the $69.99 within 3-5 days with no further debits. Post 5 days, no $69.99 credit. Even my bank said they see a lot of unexpected charges to their clients from EOS. An EOS employee told me that the employee that signed me up for these charges was doing "shady things" and they were moving him around from gym to gym to build a case against him. Their business practices are absolutely unethical. My next step is to file a complaint with the Arizona Attorney General. EOS, don't even think of replying to this review by asking me to reach out to yet another person at the gym for resolution. read more

posted for my wife: I joined in Nov 2023 with a great deal before the Signal Butte gym was being built. I was hoping the construction wouldn't take too long and as the satellite office promised. In January 2024, found out the I was to have leg surgery in February, my doctor advised me the option to cancel my membership. So, I went down to the office again and signed a cancelation form and was advised they would credit my CC the $9.98. Thinking I was all set, In May I was charged the yearly fee $59.98. When I call them, they said I never signed a form, at that time I told them to cancel but per the rules I still had to pay without a copy of that form. I had been blatantly lied to about situations regarding my membership and agree with others that they will say whatever they can and want to get more money out of you or force you into a situation where you have to pay more money. I urge anyone to thinks twice about joining unless you get all the hidden facts and copies of everything! read more

Wow! You know what I'm not much to leave reviews but seeing that one other person felt the same way on google review I felt made me leave mine. Stephanie the personal trainer has made me feel so uncomfortable when I work out. Every time she is around when I workout I have to stop and leave because as a person who went through SA the way she stares is very uncomfortable and the fact that I'm not the only one that has felt like that makes me know it's not all in my head! I have overheard her talking bad about other trainers thinking they're better than her. I one time heard her say inappropriate things about some new trainers physic. like someone please put a stop this it is so unprofessional and inappropriate. She must think no one is listening most of the time. It's a shame you go to the gym to feel better about yourself and have to deal with that, SMH! by the way this Rodney trainer i have seen in the reviews is def by far the nicest and most respectful person. I was super excited for this gym to open. LA fitness was going downhill and this one had a lot of promise. The price was awesome. The amenities were supposed to be great. one month laterI can't say the same for that same excitement that I had previously. equipment has consistently been filthy floors are disgusting. Showers have been broken Twice. Before 5 AM now they won't play the movie which was my sweet time to relax and walk on a treadmill while enjoying some screen time because they said it overheats the screen projector. however, I've heard that other EOS don't do that. several sprays are empty. Paper towel empty. equipment filth. soap is empty floor is gross. equipment shut down i.e. massage chairs compression boots are all broken. Have sent email to management. No response. was told that only a cleaning crew comes in consisting of two people for about two hours a day when a gym is open 24 hours that's not enough to sufficiently clean or manage a property this size please rethink your location when you come here it's not dazzling. There's lots of garbage left behind lots of water bottles. It's really disappointing. Do better or I'm out. And I'll bring all of the people that I brought over out as well. Also, I enrolled three people and the promo was to have a free year of membership. Well, I've been charged already no freebies for me. I got ripped off as well. Please fix this EOS!!! read more
