He put in a new delta faucet bottom of the line quality that dripped from the time of install. He charged us the time it took to install and remove the defective faucet? Our fault his product was not good? He ended up having to install ( we paid for ourselves) a new kitchen faucet one that we got from Moen as a warranty replacement. We were fine and willing to forgive his bad performance until he sent us a bill for $475 (that was not itemized) for labor and parts. Mike is a nice guy, but he is a crooked conman. Do yourself a favor and get an honest plumber that doesn't falsely create problems and charges you for his mistakes. We won't be calling him again.

Originally I had him install a water main shutoff and I liked him so much I had him replace the main stack and rough in plumbing throughout the house. From this point on I realized what a lousy businessman Randy is. During his initial time here giving me an estimate he told me he would get the necessary permits and I don't need to worry. When you call R and R Plumbing you will reach Randy's wife Dawn. If you call there in the morning she will answer the phone, but is always pre occupied talking to her crew and complaining about how busy she is. If you call in the afternoon Dawn may or may not answer and if she does she is "away from her desk" and may or may not return your call. Randy was very quick to say he could find a better toilet that I could buy in store. I said ok great do you have a picture because I don't want just any toilet? Nope. "I will have the guys pull one out of the box and have Dawn send you a pic" That never happened. Even after asking a second and third time, I said the hell with it and found one myself. Moving along, I wanted a washtub installed in the basement and it was the same line as before. "I can find you one way better than you can find in the store" Okay great get me one. That never happened either. Not only did Dawn keep sending me an invoice for $100 or so that I had already paid and previously disputed, I repeatedly asked her for my current invoice. She said I should have gotten it but she would "look into it and get back to me" As you can probably guess by now, that didn't happen either. I had to call her again to request it be sent again AND ask her about the permit Randy said he would get. I had to ask because by this time I was fed up and hired a new plumber. This is where the story takes a nice turn. I have never done a renovation before and it would have been nice to be told that I needed to have an inspection done by the city. I am guessing he didn't mention it because he never got the permits they told me they would. When I called him out on this to Dawn she gave me some lame story about how she rubs elbows with the people that work for the city and its "actually not a big deal" She told me worse case scenario I would get a small fine, no big deal. Obviously she doesn't have an attorney because mine assured me that was NOT the case. Moving along, she LIED to me AGAIN on the phone and said Randy just took care of it. She asked if I would like to schedule more work and I said no thank you. After having a quality plumber look at Randy's crappy work he rolled his eyes and said "this is not good" The main stack had been hacked so many times it looked like a kid took 50 pieces of random pipe and glued them together. After telling the new plumber what I was doing in the bathroom he said he has know idea wtf Randy's plan was but he would have to redo all his work. This included replacing the stack again and properly roughing in the bathroom with the rest of the work I needed finished. He pointed out pipes glued together crooked and even broken fittings. I wouldn't recommend Randy to work on ANYTHING! Call ANYONE besides R and R Plumbing. I wish I had, it cost me THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS!

He quickly undertone problem and fixed it in under an hour. They also recommended a water damage remediation company that was there in under an hour to repair that damage. We've used R and R plumbing several times over the years. They've been very prompt, efficient, effective and the bills were always reasonable.

I had the plumber come in to repair an overflow drainage problem in the kitchen sink that drains…read morethe dishwasher also. He didn't check for blockage but instead increased the pipe diameter to prevent overflow. He refused to change the control valve in another sink that has a slow leak that I shut off. He said he will not change a control valve that is not currently leaking. Now I got a bill of $95 for labor, $75 trip charge and $7.09 for materials. I want others to be aware of this. They did the plumbing in our house in 2009 but didn't matter to them. I am not looking for a discount but I want them to fix the problems I have and not just to patch it up.

However, if you want a professional, that knows what they are doing, to get it right and not tell you "I don't know anything about these." Well... consider that before calling. Or just request a professional also with your inquiry. This will save you time, money and frustration. They probably have a professional there. We just didn't get that person. This would be fine if we were informed immediately that the company would be sending someone with no knowledge of our requests. That way, we would have went somewhere else straight away. Warren Wilde took care of the water softener, he even told us what exactly was wrong just from our description over the phone. They were difficult to get a hold of from the get go. We finally got someone out here to install a…read morebidet and see what was wrong with our water softener. He was VERY young looking. He looked at our water softener and said, "I don't know anything about these...." I showed him a pin that supposed to be attached to the softener and he said "Yeah I don't know why there'd be a pin in it." So we are paying for a plumber to come out and NOT know about water softeners? So he installed the bidet but it took him just shy of TWO hours. When he finished he said it was leaking (maybe not his fault)- but two hours for a bidet? I installed it myself at our other house in 15 minutes. The only reason we had a plumber do it was because we needed a different T-valve and he didn't get a different T-valve- he just rigged the one we had to make it work (might be why its leaking????). We do need to get a new water softener but will be using someone else to install it as they did not leave us with much confidence in their abilities.
