Apparently they're under new management. That isn't always a bad thing. Decided to try them out today and got their new fried ginger chicken, spareribs and garlic chicken. The garlic chicken is always a winner. Spareribs was tender, but pieces were dry. The fried ginger chicken however... that left the most room for improvement. Not sure who is making the ginger green onion sauce, but they need to try again. The one consistent thing that each plate had was the borderline hard rice. I would 100% recommend En Fuego catering, food was so delicious, many party guests complimented how delicious the food was. I wish I took pics of food. The front desk was very friendly and helpful. The layout of the property is just amazing. It feels like you are in a paradise wonderland. First time doing a really big order for a first birthday and I was very pleased with the how everything turned out. There were some times when I wasn't sure about something because there really wasn't a paper agreement with all the information on it, but it all worked out. I put my full trust and I was very happy with how it all worked out. All my guests complicated how good the food was. We got the baby's 1st birthday. We paid extra for their attendant fee and it was worth it. They set up and broke down after 2hrs. They were so nice and very helpful. I didn't have to stress about the food at all. Even when the strong winds were blowing down the food covers. We found a way to keep it secured. After the next day we just returned the leftover silver pans that kept the food in and that was it. This places is not a Mexican place at all with mostly fish, Hawaiian, and American stuff like burgers. Husband had to substitute their teri beef because they were out. They gave him an Oscar-Meyer hot dog like what you would get at the grocery store... Costumer service was a bit off too and we had to wait a while for food when there really wasn't anyone else there. I was sent an invoice with the menu I chose and total. They offer delivery for a reasonable amount which I am so grateful for. Delivery was on time and food was good! Thank you guys again. This Updated Review is for Catering with En Fuego: I regularly dine at En Fuego for their magnificent GARLIC CHICKEN and seared ahi. I recently used them to cater my baby's 1st birthday. En Fuego has different set catering menus to choose from, but you can work with them, explain your budget, and what you want. Before we decided on what menu to get, we had a wonderful consultation by Sandy/Sally (unsure of her name sorry). She was really nice, she had that auntie fee to her l where she just wanted to help you out, and wanted to make sure that you were happy. My husband and I had a good sampling of the different choices from the Baby's 1st Menu. We also got to try the pupu's that Sandy/Sally suggested. She explained that they were the two top popular appetizers at a party. I decided with the Baby's 1st Menu- $8.75 per head * Steamed white rice * Fresh Garden Salad * Fried Noodles * Garlic Chicken or any chicken (Of course I got the Garlic) * Hoison Spare Ribs or Shoyu Pork (I got the Hoison Spare Ribs) * Fresh Catch of the Day Special (we ended with Mahi Mahi that day/ Guests raved about the fish) I also got 2 different types of pupus. * Fish Cake * Ahi Won Tons Both were big hits, people were eating them like they were entrees. I only ordered 50 pieces each since there were just appetizers. I didn't have a chance to eat them at the party. But they tasted fantastic at our consoltation. For $100 more I had employees come to help set up the food and make sure the food was stock. Sandy/Sally was one of the 2 workers there to help out at our sons party. For this extra cost they also provided heaters and serving utensils for the food. En Fuego also provided utensils, plates and napkins for the guests. This is included if you cater with them. However, they only provide the amount of plates, utensils, and napkins that you are catering for. BRING EXTRA! We embarrassingly ran out for late guests. My husband and I had asked several times if they were providing foil for guests to take home food. But they only left a few sheets of foil. Come on now this is a Filipino party. They always expect to take home food. There services are not for the whole duration of your party so they take away the heaters and serving utensils when they leave. So out of 5 stars I would rank these service 3 stars. It did help out a lot that they set up everything, and kept everything restocked during the big rush. So if you do book their services to help out at the party, remember these 3 vital things: 1) Bring extra utensils and napkins for the guests. 2) Serving utensils for the food. 3) Buy Foil and Ziploc bags for the guest to take home food -There were tons of foods left because of the no shows. - I would purchase food under your real count because things happen. The En Fuego catering team made our wedding day at Dillingham Ranch so special with a customized menu that had fresh local entree and appetizer options. The owner Ross is a business owner who cares deeply about the quality of his food and the service he provides his customers. We worked with Ross from pre pandemic 2019, all the way through our actual wedding day on April 2022, and he was so nice to continue to ride this uncertain wave with our 2 wedding postponements. You can tell he's genuine, and has a heart of gold. When our wedding day finally arrived, Ross and the En Fuego team brought the most delicious food for all of our 80 guests. We had hand passed appetizers for happy hour, a beautiful entree of fresh mahi mahi with capers, and NY strip steak, fresh vegetables, and delicious sauces like their deli glaze for the steak, and garlic butter cream sauce for the fish. We also used En Fuego for our late night food- let me tell you, their poi bun mini sliders are to DIE for! Seriously... you cannot go wrong with those sliders as an appetizer or late night snack. We had such an incredible wedding, and received so many compliments about the food. We hired En Fuego for our wedding last month and we definitely recommend their food. They are very affordable and accommodating. We ordered for 30 people and had A LOT of leftovers. They were professional and punctual and even flexible when we had to change our delivery time. The food is to rave over. The creamy mashed potatoes, delicious herb vegetables, fresh furikake salmon and tender rib eye were huge hits at our wedding. I had a food baby in my wedding dress after seconds and thirds and it was SO worth it. Ross was our cater coordinator who we were in direct contact with and who we did our tasting with. Ordered last minute from their catering menu, the "Baby's First Luau" menu for a baby shower. The baby shower was the next day. We chose the garlic chicken and shoyu pork options. Everyone talks about their garlic chicken, but you have to try the shoyu pork! It's super tender and soft with just the right flavoring. It was soooo good! The rest of the food was delicious too but the shoyu pork and of course the garlic chicken stood out. Price is reasonable. Service was good. Easy to order and pay over the phone. Ron was very helpful. I was surprised that I was asked to load the 6 trays of food myself into my car (maybe due to COVID-19). Otherwise, a very good experience and I would order again. read more

Catering: We made a list minute order for their small pan of hoisin spare ribs this past Sunday afternoon. And they were able to accommodate our procrastination (lol! thank you so much). We scheduled our pick up time for 5 pm, which was four hours away from placing our order. The hoisin spare ribs were bomb! The small pan, was a generous serving! Totally worth the $30. Went here last month and had the Ahi katsu as it was highly recommended. Whoa it was way, way, too salty and it came with a side dipping sauce on top of that! Oh and a small thing but would it kill them to cut the katsu in pieces!? I mean who doesn't cut up katsu! Next time I'll stick with the garlic chicken. Val (the manager) was nice enough to answer all of my questions (trust me, girlfriend always has a lot of questions) + patient enough (sometimes I try people's patience with all of my questions) to wait while I hmmm and haww'd every menu item = (in my book) extremely helpful customer service. #YummyCateringFTW In the end, I went with the "Executive Menu" which is $10.99/per person. Since Skywalker is the V.I.P. of my heart, why not roll out the red carpet for our guests' stomachs as well, right? Here's what we got: 01. Catered from them for a holiday company party. The hot food was not hot. The cold food was not cold. Food storage is the most important thing when it comes to customer satisfaction and health issues. 5 coworkes reported food poisoning the next day. I am very shocked to see what the company produces as it's product. The cashiers were just talking and talking and not really engaged with the customers at all. The place was stained floors and soggy boxes stacked all against the wall. Not to mention the parking was ridiculous. Hardly any space for me to load my trunk with the catered food. I am very disappointed with the service we received and even more upset that I went based off of the reviews of others. Maybe it was just an off day. No stars for En Fuego. Upon entering no one greeted us and they weren't even busy . They literally had 1 family in there more than half way through their meal . The food was ready and on time . Yay!! So, we ordered two cheeseburgers with garlic fries and shrimp scampi. The burgers were so dry , like no sauce, burger over cooked, and no condiments. LMAO!! Also, only 1 of the fries was garlic . We hired En Fuego to cater for our wedding. Having tried En Fuego's Catering before at a work event, we went to visit them again to pick up a plate. Not sure if it was because we went late to the restaurant (around 8ish?) but the kalua pig was soggy wet, and had no flavor. We ended up throwing away the kalua pig. However, having such a great experience with their catering before at the work event, we decided to go with En Fuego's Hawaiian Menu for our wedding. Everything was delicious (even the Kalua Pig) except for the Chicken Long Rice. They didn't use the long and thicker rice noodles, and instead used PANCIT (or pancit like) noodles. TERRIBLE. Felt like it was a rip off... and for a wedding? YIKES. People said that there was not enough chicken- I ended up having a whole pan with about 20 small pieces of cut up chicken (instead of the usual tons shredded chicken). The "chicken long rice" ended up tasting like cooked ramen. Disgusting. The overall experience was okay but if you decide to cater, I suggest that you go over EXACTLY what you're getting and EXACTLY what you want. The first catering experience was great! The second, not so much.... so I guess it just depends the day. It didn't ruin our wedding, but it ruined my left overs! Price and accommodation was good. We had En Fuego for our wedding and the food was absolutely delicious! There were so many compliments on our meal. Everything was cooked to perfection. We started with the taro bun sliders, marinated ahi tuna and the garlic fries. For the dinner buffet, we had mahi mahi in cream sauce, portobella penne pasta, prime rib, garlic chicken, white rice, green salad and dinner rolls. The staff was excellent, as was Ross.
