STAY FAR AWAY! I had…read morean appointment scheduled for 12/12 at 2:15 PM. On 12/11 at 10:04 AM, I received a text asking me to confirm with "Y" or cancel with "X." I was at work and wasn't able to respond immediately. By 11:18 AM the same morning, my appointment had already been rescheduled without my consent. When I reached out for clarification, Jazmine asked if I wanted to reschedule. I explained that I found it strange and concerning that my appointment could be moved without notifying me. She insisted that nobody had rescheduled it, even though I had the confirmation texts proving otherwise. I sent screenshots in case there was an internal issue with messages not showing, but she continued to repeat that "nobody moved it." Because I've had previous negative experiences with SkinLaundry, this incident with Jazmine was the final straw. Being told something didn't happen, when I had proof it did, is just dishonesty. When I ultimately canceled my membership, she added a note claiming that I was rude to the staff during scheduling. My screenshots show the opposite. At no point was I rude; instead, Jazmine was dismissive and unprofessional. When speaking verbally on the phone, she told me she had apologized in the text messages, yet there is no apology anywhere in the conversation. I then spoke with the manager on the phone who essentially brushed off my concerns and told me I was being "snarky" for simply asking whether my appointment would keep getting rescheduled. As a paying client, I think it's reasonable to want consistency and transparency. Overall, I cannot recommend SkinLaundry. Their customer service is unprofessional, and the environment is biased. Managers seem more interested in protecting their staff than addressing legitimate concerns. On top of that, the treatments themselves are not worth the cost; there are other places that use more effective lasers and deliver faster results. I was really happy with the whole…read moreexperience: I felt relaxed, plumped, moisturized, and honestly excited about my week in a way I hadn't before. To address some of the negative reviews: 1. Duh it's not a private spa. They say that on the website where you book the appointment. I personally found people's background conversations calming as background noise and I liked the ease of just being able to pop in to get my facial and go. 2. They don't push products or services on you. At least not in my experience. When I booked, it asked if I wanted to consider any add-ons and I marked yes. During my session, my esthetician suggested one and we tried it. At the end of my session, my esthetician recommended two products and emailed them to me so I could decide later. They were specific to my needs and what I told her were my struggles. At check out, I was asked if I would consider a membership or booking ahead, but no one was pushy or made me feel uncomfortable. I felt super comfortable there the entire time! 3. Some yelp reviewers said they experienced break outs after. You take a risk of break outs with any treatment you try and it's why dermatologists warn people before getting a facial. I don't have very sensitive skin so I had no particular concerns. You can always ask them to not go as wild during the extractions. My experience: 1. I found my esthetician to be efficient, courteous, and attentive. I love the service she provided and I walked out of this facial more relaxed than I've walked out of full-body massages. 2. I didn't love the nano wand infusion and would probably skip it the next time I go. If you have the budget for it, try it, but I didn't feel much of a difference. 3. For any facial newbies, blow your nose before lol. Aside from some redness on where I had especially tricky extractions, my skin came out soothed and ready for the week at hand. Definitely check this spot out: check in and check out were efficient and they make sure to get you in and out per your schedule. :)

The girl who did my diamond glow facial didn't lower the suction around my delicate eye skin like you are supposed to do and i got broken capillaries and bruising that is still lingering from one month ago. It also wasn't accompanied by a full facial. Skin cleaning and then the machine and it was over. Seems like some plastic surgeons just slapped "med spa" on their practice and it isn't an actual spa service most hope for.

My aesthetician was Alice and she was so respectful and thorough with her work. You can tell she puts a lot of care into each step of the process. Make sure you bring cash for tips as that's the only form that's accepted. I won an alpha hydroxy facial through the IG giveaway and enjoyed it! The extraction portion is a little painful, but it makes sense why as it is unclogging your pores mechanically. It's worth it though because your face feels so much cleaner when you leave! Phyllis, the owner, is also so lovely! She accommodated my crazy work schedule when booking my appointment.
