I got a white gel manicure on 05/29 around 4:30. That same day the gel started to peel, which means that the nail tech that did my nails did not prep my nails right. I came back the next day on 05/30 for me to get them fixed, I was understanding and came out my way to get them fixed. Once I got there the tech that originally did my nails was grabbing my hands very rough like I was the one that made the mistake. Instead of her redoing my nails and taking off the gel off each nail she just drilled the sides, put one layer of white coat , added top coat and called it a day. I did my nails for my baby shower that was on 03/31 and my nails once again were worse than before. I had air bubbles on my nails, the prep wasn't right and I paid for a service that didn't last me. I always come here to get my nails and feet done, never had a problem with my gel peeling off and now it came to this. I don't leave reviews, ever but i called for a refund and I was hung up on. This was my go to spot and after the service they gave me it just wasn't it. I paid $40 for a gel manicure that lasted 2 days. read more

I cannot recommend Timmy enough! He is absolutely incredible and creates a masterpiece every time! I go in with an inspo picture or just a theme/idea and he always delivers. The length, shape, and colors are always perfect! I damn near cry every time with how happy I am. I highly recommend this establishment in general, as I've come in before for pedicures for my bonus daughter, her friend, and her friend's mom and they were able to fit us in. I got a classic pedicure with gel and French design. Really nice service. I asked a couple questions through Yelp and they were really quick in responding. My favorite part was the massage chair. It was really good and hitting the right spots. I felt a little bad because it shook me a bit while the nail artist was trying to clean the lines. I did a walk in without an appt, they were able to get me in within mins. I got a pedicure and it was Lisa who took care of him yesterday. She was very friendly and sweet, her work is nice and very gentle. After my pedicure I went for a manicure. Originally I wanted dip nails but the tech offered gel x which I was open to try. I always hear about it but haven't had the opportunity to try so did. Result which I love because the nails was not heavy feeling like acrylic. The tech was very friendly and helpful, I did not get her name. Only reason why I gave a 4 stars is because one my right pinky nail was placed a little cricket. I'm not a picky person but it does kinda bother a little which is ok that can get fixed next time. Second my ring finger nail was placed kind of lifted up. So that finger looks a tiny off compare to the others which also I can get it fixed next time. Other than that service was great the salon is very clean and cozy. She was very careful with my 2 big toenails, since in the past others have cut my skin so I appreciated her care. Zero complaints throughout. I feel so compelled to write this review. I went for a shellac pedicure and dip powder manicure on Saturday, 8/3/2024. I get my nails done every 3 week in West Seattle and have kept this schedule for the past two years. I decided to try this place with my sister for a change of pace and I deeply regret it. Upon entry, the receptionist was pleasant and soft-spoken. She paired me with a woman, her name was "Ha" who needed a translator to communicate with me. I don't mind that except there was no one within ear shot to help me communicate what I wanted. Another woman, "Dat," drilled off my previous dip from another salon and she was so rough with my nail beds. She drilled all over my clothes, skin, even gave without a care. And dripped acetone all over me until my hands itched -- which has never happened before. Ha was also not gentle with the nail drill, I'm sure she was using the wrong drill bits, and continued despite my protests and winces. She did not work on my cuticles and I had to prompt her to cut my overgrown toenails. She started painting my toes before they were dry and the paint was already starting to bubble. I said nothing, hoping she would course-correct but she didn't. She kept putting layer after layer, the bubbling got worse. As she was about to place the topcoat, I told her to take it off. Even then she left polish on my skin and edges of my nails. I refused to even let them complete the service. I just paid for it and left. No apologies for the terrible experience I had. Please don't be fooled. This place has nice decor but terrible service. I was going to take my mother there and recommend some people to go there off of the reviews I saw prior, but I'm glad I got first-hand experience! Would not even give this place one star! Absolutely no pride in providing quality work. Going to my go-to place, Rose's Nail Salon in West Seattle. Far, far superior quality and customer service. read more

It saddens me to write this review but I'm so frustrated with the service I got. I've been coming here for the past half year and all my services have been nice and it was all good experiences. I even recommended this place to all my coworkers and friends. I came in for a hard gel fill with my natural nails for a polka dot french tip and was charged $105+ How is that possible??? This place charges for french tip which is fine I guess. But I was also charge another $10 for small polka dots in my small french tip. Like are you kidding me? When I went to pay I questioned the price and the worker provided me a breakdown and UPCHARGED ME $10. When I called her out all she did was look at me and guided me to tap my phone to pay?? Unfortunately I already had a 20% tipped preselected before all the conversations panned out and so she got the money she wanted. The worst thing besides the dishonest worker was she rushed through my nail appointment and did not give me any cuticle oil or hand lotion / massage which this place always does! Then, I went in for my pre-cruise nails ended up with a disaster. The girl doing my pedicure was someone I was familiar with. The girl doing my nails was obviously being trained. I don't mind being the test subject, but if I am and she screws up, have her remove it and start over. They were doing a color-change, mermaid type color on my nails and the experienced girl saw that the other girl was using the wrong base color. Rather than remove it, she just painted the black over the white and moved on. More layers my nails didn't need. I should have said something but I didn't think it would be that bad. 3 days later, I'm in the hot tub on the cruise and color started peeling off. Horrible. I will never go back. I left my house yesterday at 9:30am to get a 12:15 appointment just because this place had great reviews. When making a reservation, you get the choice between 3 named nail artists, or "any". I chose any thinking the reviews were accurate and my nails would be cute anyways because I was going for such a simple design. There wasn't a set receptionist when I went, so I was awkwardly standing at the desk until someone came up to the front. There was no music so you're just sitting in silence with about 4 other people. The lady who did my nails was nice but.. they're flying off of my nail. Trust me, this isn't without correction, I asked for almond nails and showed a picture and she put pointy triangles and consistently filed the sides of my nails up the entire time. I asked her to file less and make a more rounded shape, and this is what I got. Also had to step in and ask for a different color and we had to put a gel coat on top because she wasn't really using any technique to get the color with just powder. Maybe this is just me.. but I would like my nails to be linear with my nailbed, and my natural nails dont grow up so this was poor technique. I paid 65 + an 18% tip so it was around 76$.
