This is my third time coming to enchanted nail salon. The 2 other times I have only gotten a manicure and pedicure. This time around I decided to get a full set of acrylic. The owner is really nice and she has done my nails the last two times. However, this time I was helped by another nail tech. From the start, she was very quiet. She didn't ask me how I was or even try to make conversation with me. The owner had to remind her to ask me if I wanted a water. While she was doing my nails she kept hurting me and was being rough on my nails. I have gotten acrylics plenty of times before and have never had a problem with them. This time around was different. I'm not sure if it was her station in particular but something she used gave me a really bad reaction on my nails. The picture does not do justice. My nails are really sore and they hurt if I touch them. The bottom of them are red and have little bumps that are itchy and hurt. This is my third day with them and as you can see it wasn't a really good job. I won't be coming back here again after this. read more

I was in the area looking for a nail salon that was known for quality service and after doing some research, I decided to try this salon out. I absolutely LOVED this place!! The owners are so kind. They remembered my name, which was nice. It just so happened to be one of their regulars' birthdays and when she told them they brought out a boba popsicle for her and also gave me one! We were the only ones in the salon but I still thought this was a kind gesture. Maybe this may have had an effect on the time spent on my nails and the quality of their work but I absolutely loved both my dip powder nails and my gel pedicure! They definitely did a much better job than the previous location I had gone to and for just $3 more. I added fairy dust and they had the options of large or smaller sparkles; I thought that was cool. I am so glad I came here today. They couldn't take me right away and I was told to come back in 30 minutes. The man at the desk was really nice about it, too, so I didn't find it a big deal. When I came back I was attended very nicely. No cuts on my fingers or my toes and everything was done very carefully and professionally. John went above and beyond to make sure i was happy and love my nails, i really do appreciate everything John and the salon did they fixed my nails and i can't stop looking at them because they are SO BEAUTIFUL!!! This salon is willing to fix your nails if you're upset and your always able to rely on John and his wife. I appreciate everything and sure to be back. While doing my mani she seemed just in a hurry and wanting to get it done right away which idk why she just gave me those vibes i was the first customer their so no need to rush i would expect to be taken care of but she just seemed over me, i was very nice towards her and when i accidentally bumped my nail i kindly ask if she could fix it since i bumped it on accident she seemed upset but it was a accident on my part where i did say I'm sorry. After that i showed her the picture i wanted again and even asked her to help me find a nice dark orange because the one i wanted unfortunately they didn't have which was kind of a bummer since it's fall and a lot of people want fall colors, so when i asked she just seemed annoyed and went for a bright orange colors when i told her i was looking for a darker one she just pointed to 2 colors and kinda quit after that to help me, i felt super rushed and really uncomfortable after that because i felt she was just talking about me to the lady that was doing my pedi. When i was choosing the colors she asked another employee *idk if she was the manager* about the flowers I'm assuming because than she informed me that every flower on my finger would be $5 extra that would of be $50 extra! And at that point i was kinda surprised because she never told me that before we started, i was super bummed because that defeated the point of what i wanted i had chosen a nudeish color for the base so the flowers can pop and now i was stuck with a color i didn't really like because she informed me to late about the flowers being $5 each. I ended up going with just 2 flowers on my fingers and she completely butchered the flowers she let the colors smeared on one finger and the other flowers just looks ugly nothing how i wanted she had the picture right in front of her and she just rushed it completely. Super disappointed and upset with my experience because i was looking to feel cute with my new mani and pedi but my mani was a horrible job I'm stuck with a nude color that i don't really enjoy and ugly flowers to look at for a few weeks because i don't wanna to go and spend so much money again to get them fixed. read more

I hate to give a 2 star review but this salon had many more cons than it did pros. Pros: 1. Staff was very friendly and communicative 2. They shaped my nails very well Cons: 1. I had 2 ladies doing my nails. The first had started by removing my gel and shaping my nails and she did a wonderful job, I was very happy with her work. I was very UNhappy, however, with the fact that she told me that her colleague would be taking over doing my nails as lady #1 went off to work on another customer who had just walked in and was seated right beside me also for a gel manicure. (1) why couldn't lady #2 simply work on the new client and (2) why wasn't I asked if this was ok? Instead I was told, "we're switching now." 2. As kind as the second lady was, she was not as skilled. The work was not clean and I have attached an image as an example. This photo was taken 1 hour after I had my nails done and it already looks like my nails are growing out! Unacceptable. She also failed to remove a sample swatch on one nail of mine, so now one of my nails are two-toned. 3. None of the nail polishes I had tried matched the swatch on the nail palette, which is fine, not the salon's fault, but at least update your colors so I know what I will accurately have on my nails. I picked out a pale pink and it turned out my skin color, still pretty, just not what I wanted. 4. The nail polish was very thick and now that I am home I can see bubbles in the nail polish. It was clearly an old bottle and should be disposed of. 5. I don't know how clean the utensils are that are being used on our nails. Many items, such as the heads of the electric nail file and the normal nail file and buffer were clearly used by other clients and not sanitized before they were used on me. I also witnessed lady #2 throw all nail clippings and nail dust (from being filed) on the floor which made me wonder how clean the facility as a whole is. I will not be returning here, nor will I be referring friends to this salon, but I hope they take these points into consideration to better their company. read more

I absolutely loved enchanted nails my first few times, however I went in for a new set and brought in my own glitters (which was partially my fault as they aren't what the tech was used to working with) and left with very lumpy uneven nails. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and came in again to get my set redone. This time they were again so beautiful, but my hands were incredibly itchy and my cuticles were very swollen and red. I tried to bear with it for a few days until I had to soak off my set. This is where I had my issue, I have a gel polish allergy but have been fine with all other nail products so this was a bummer. When I tried to soak off my nails, they were very difficult to remove as they were not flaking off like usual but rather were gooey and sticky--it took quite a while to remove them. I didn't realize this with my previous sets when they were removed because they were popped off with a tip rather than being soaked off, but this really upsets me. My fingers look horrible now and its going to take a while for my nail plates to heal as they are now very thin, skin to recover from the small blisters around my cuticles,, and my nail to completely reattach. I'm not quite sure if the products used were at hand, but it is really disappointing that the nails were not done correctly at first and then when I went to soak off the set I actually liked--it took over an hour because they didn't flake but rather became slimey and gooey. read more

I was hoping to find a new manicurist here since it's in such a convenient location for me. I was able to make a same day appointment which was great, and overall the salon appeared clean and well maintained (also a plus). I came in for a pedicure only, as I had recently gotten a manicure. During my service, there were three things that I noticed that made me not want to come back. During my pedicure they used a plastic cover which was clean a new (great). However, I noticed that the manicurist (not working on me) had an expired copy of her license on display expired 2020. Also, my 8 minute "massage" felt like she was just apply lotion to my legs and feet. There wasn't any massage techniques used to relax the muscles (like no pressure at all). The manicurist kept checking the timer and that part of the service felt rushed and wasn't all that great in my opinion. Most of the time, the massage portion will be broken up into two massages, one for each foot. So if the pedi includes an 8 minute massage, then 4 mins for the left foot and then 4 for the right. This time she went back and fourth and had no pressure or anything. It felt like she was just putting lotion on and rubbing it in. So that was a total let down. The manicurist with the expired license looked like she was better at the massage part of the pedicure. And the last thing that I noticed is that the place smelled like mold or perm solution. There is a hair salon next door so maybe that's where the odor was coming from, but either way that odor also took away from my experience here. I have to say that it did distract me from the terrible massage. I will not likely return, nor will I recommend this salon to others. As a licensed professional, I hope that my review is taken seriously and that this business makes some changes. read more

I've never had someone take as much time on my nails as this nail artist did. (I think her name was Jenny.) She spent an hour doing my acrylic and gel nails. She took her time to make sure each nail was the same length and shape, double checking. She asked me at every step if I was happy so far. I've never had that kind of service before! The owner was there as well. He was funny and kind, making jokes, offering drinks, and talking about music. (He also let my friend and I play with his 3 month old puppy, Mocha.) I am most impressed however with how the nails are lasting. The pictures attached are from 3 days later after 25 hours of me working in a restaurant. While the nails are thin enough to stay attractive, they are strong enough to deal with me grabbing trays and plates, firing up plates on a burner, and bussing tables. I'm going to start off with the good, I walked in the day before my birthday (May 7th) as a walk in to have my nails done for the next day because I had a birthday dinner planned. Customer service tops any other nail place! I got a complimentary mimosa while I waited which was about 30 minutes, not too bad for a walk in. I'm not complaining about that :) The mimosa was really good, pretty strong actually which is a good thing, for me at least lol. I had Nina as my nail tech, I thought she was amazing! She was really funny & we had a nice conversation while she was doing my nails. Only reason I gave Enchanted Nails 3 stars was because my nails started lifting and would pull my hair when I would shower. This started on May 10th which was 3 days after I did my nails. Now it is May 18th, 10 days since I got them done and my nail on my pinky just fell off. My nails turned out beautifully but just did not last. My nails usually last a very long time, I usually get 3 fills before I get a new set but they just didn't seem to stick this time. Will definitely return! I made my appointment through a yelp message and was responded to right away. Upon entering, I was recognized which was awesome and surprising. I didn't get anyone's names but the service I experienced and witnessed was amazing! Loved my pedicure and for my manicure I got the sns dip (first time too btw!) which I enjoyed. The only critique is I chose sns to avoid the gel and uv light but as it was my first time (and admittedly I didn't research it enough) I got the dip but gel top coat and so just wondering if a regular top coat that doesn't require uv light is an option. Examples of wonderful service: Option of beverage offered The lady next to me was hungry and the lovely lady that was doing her pedicure offered to share her sandwich which the lady thoroughly enjoyed The lady on my other side was given water and the lady that was doing my manicure recognized that the lady couldn't open her bottle and opened it for her and then before she was about to start filing closed it for her too. That was both kind and thoughtful and I was so impressed! Well worth the money and I will be scheduling my next appointment here! read more

I was visiting from out of town and needed to have my acrylic nails filled and painted. What a gem I found at Enchanted Nail Salon! The salon was clean, inviting and friendly. The owners were conscientious and compliant in response to Covid-19. They took my temp and requested my contact info should contact tracing be required. Plexiglass shield and face masks were also required. As for my nails, Pauline was fantastic. She is a perfectionist like me, so she ensured my nails were just the right thickness (acrylic), shaped to my desire, smooth and painted just right!!!! I am a senior citizen, LE did my pedicure, and rubbed and rubbed on my feet and legs, the massage lasted about ten minutes, and did wonders for my poor old joints and bones. I've been searching for a reliable and consistent nail place for over a year. I've tried almost all the nail salons on Tustin from the Village area all the way to Chapman. Seriously it's a lot to places to try and not be impressed whether it be with color selection or being consistent on not doing a sloppy job. I luckily saw the signage for their grand opening to try their services at a discounted price. I'm sooooo glad I did. I met Trish and have been consistently going to her ever since they opened. She's a perfectionist and makes sure my nails are perfect. I'm extremely particular about the gel around my cuticles and she does an amazing job. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I don't have to tell her what she needs to fix because she notices it first. What more can I ask for. Everyone there is incredibly nice and you can tell they upkeep their salon. Also, they have a lot of fun options and are up to date with the cool stuff like fairy dust and cat eye.
