My family is relocating out of state after having lived in Issaquah for the last 8 years. We decided to bring our daughter here to get our last Christmas tree in Washington and to say it was nothing but amazing start to finish would be underselling it. We were helped by a nice young man named Mustaffa, sorry if I spelled it wrong. He was helpful, polite, and went out of his way to make our experience top tier all without even knowing it was our last Christmas here. He took us for photos, shook, wrapped, and tied our tree to the car, without being asked. He came to us as soon as we got back from picking our tree and did the rest for us. This young man deserves the highest of praises and if we were staying here, we would be returning yearly because of him. read more

We've been looking for a new tree farm as our old one got bought out and this is THE one! Super cute farm without being too far away. The trees are a bit pricey especially for the fancier firs but they have lots of trees in various lots without being too far of a trek. The staff are super nice in giving you a hand in carrying the tree and the bale and shake are INCLUDED in the price (which wasn't the case at the other farm). This was actually the first time I saw a shaker which is really nice to get all the loose stuff and bugs off! The barn had hot cider (with cold water to cool it down which is a nice touch) and Danish cookies. The ornaments are all reasonably priced as well. Love the farm and the whole experience. We've been coming to Enchanted Winds for the last five or six years, and we always come away with a gorgeous tree--we typically cut one down ourselves, but they also have lovely pre-cut trees. The trees are very healthy and last well over a month, and the property is enormous, so there's a huge selection. The crew there is super friendly and helpful... I dropped my hat somewhere on the property this year, and after I retraced my steps with no success and went home, the manager went out to look for it himself (in the dark) and found it for me. My family hasn't bought a live tree in years, this year we gave it a shot. The web site has no prices, so we thought it was going to be $100+, turns out we spent less than $60 for everything, and had a really nice family afternoon. They also have ready cut to just stop and pick one up, and reduce the time investment. experience : excellent cost : comparable to the grocery store parking lot $40 - $90 service : excellent product : excellent This is a great family activity, plan to spent at least an hour. First wander the several acres of trees, find those that are tagged with a price. Then get the equipment to cut the tree, all members of my family took turns sawing at the trunk. Next carry the tree back to the main barn. Near the barn there are fires burning inside of stand up barrels, and a baling / netting station ($2). They have a tree vibrator to shake off the loose needles. Finally they tie it to the top of your car. The room where money is paid gives a nice experience: - warm room - music is playing - nicely decorated - free cider and cookies - nice barney feel to it, floors creek, rustic Considering the price similar to parking lot trees, add in the nice hike around the trees, the country drive to get there ( if you are coming from the north, take I-90 east to Issaquah, then go south on Issaquah hobart road. ) , the holiday room with cookies and cider, and finally the pleasant staff... I was impressed. To make it 5 stars I would add a hay ride around the farm, family photos and cutting equipment that works a bit better. read more

After doing quite a bit of research on which tree farm to visit, my family decided to make the trek out to Enchanted Winds. Before heading out I called to verify that we didn't need a reservation and that they weren't going to be sold out before we arrived. I was assured that they were open and have plenty of trees to go around. We made the hour drive out and upon arrival we were waved away at the gate, and told they were at capacity and weren't letting anyone else in. I called again, to verify what we were told at the gate, and was told to try again tomorrow morning. It was very disappointing to say the least, and we most certainly will not be trying again tomorrow morning. The need to have a better system in place for parking and guest limits. Save yourself the trouble and visit Christmas Creek Tree Farm in north bend. Plenty of beautiful trees and no disappointments. read more

I don't recommend trying this place, I never leave poor reviews but this one has been well earned by this tree farm unfortunately. After years of support we had three families meeting here today and surprise showed up to be rudely turned away. Spoiled the Christmas cheer for my daughter who's bought an ornament from here every year until now. Poor planning on this establishments part and extreme disappointment for many families today. We visited here for our first ever US Christmas Tree and were delighted with the service, the trees and the experience overall. We went on the second weekend in December and they were close to running out but we got a lovely cut it yourself Fraser Fir for a great price. The people at the farm couldn't have been more helpful, baling and securing the tree on our car at no extra cost. There was a small but sweet selection of Christmas decorations at reasonable prices and the complementary cider went down well with our tree cutting group!! read more

This year was our second time at Enchanted Winds, the other visit about 4 years ago. They do have a lovely barn, a good selection of other trees and when we went there on 12/7 they had a Newfoundland dog group who would take your trees to your car. Nice lovely place. The trees, however, are PRICEY. We never get a huge one, but the one's we liked at about 8 ft, noble's, were $90. We saw smaller one's we liked, but they were not tagged, so no go! I could not stand to part with $90 for a 3-week tree, even if it did look perfect. They did have a great selection of perfect trees, though. So, we hopped in our truck w/out a tree and went to the next tree farm down the road...and paid $55 for an 8 ft noble. read more

I will confess immediately that my opinion is biased by nostalgia. This place was one of my family's Christmas traditions all through my childhood. There's just an old-fashioned charm to cutting down your own Christmas tree, and this whole place gives off that vibe. The shop and registers are all in a remodeled barn, which - added to the fact that customers have driven past fields of cows to get there - adds to the rustic charm of the place. Take a hayride in the horse-drawn cart if your legs need a break. Peruse the ornaments and other decorations on sale inside, and don't forget to warm up with hot cider and shortbread cookies before you check out. They will bundle your tree if you wish, and of course there are wreaths as well. Sure, the place may be a little out-of-the-way for most, but getting your tree from a u-cut place is about the experience, and this one is certainly worth it. I'm very grateful my parents took me and my little sister there year after year. As children it felt magical, as teenagers sentimental. ("We *have* to! It's tradition!") And now, long after each tree has died, I still have priceless family memories to treasure. Of course I'm going to recommend it! :) read more

This is the 2nd year that we've gotten a tree from this place. The ambience that is created is really very nice. You can drink warm cider inside of a huge barn that holds all kinds of holiday items to purchase. This year there was also a coffee vendor and popcorn vendor in place too. There are a variety of trees to purchase; once you arrive you are given a saw to cut down your own tree. The prices vary, they might a bit high for some trees but I have to say, these are wonderful trees. I finally took mine down on January 1 and it was still fresh and soft to the touch. Just beautiful trees and worth the money. It's a really nice, welcoming place to go to. We plan to go back next year also, it's worth the trip! read more

This was our first time at Enchanted Winds. We've gone to several other U-cut places and I don't think we'll ever go anywhere else. This place was just perfect for our family (two adults, a 15 year old and a 2 year old). The trees were BY FAR the most beautiful trees I've ever seen at a U-cut. Someone must take great care to help shape them because there was one perfectly shaped, wonderful smelling tree after another. We wanted a Douglas Fir but I have to admit that we were tempted by a few other kinds because they were just so perfectly shaped. We chose one 6 foot tree for ourselves and then went back to look for a tree for my elderly parents. My Mom is very particular because she really likes Douglas Fir but she can't handle anything over 4 feet. We couldn't find a tagged tree that was only 4 foot so we asked the staff if they'd let us cut an untagged one. The owner came out and was just so polite and accommodating. He walked through the fields with us and when we found one we liked, he tagged it right there with a big smile. It was just as important to him as it was to us that Grandma got the right tree. He was even willing to cut a larger tree down to size if that's what we wanted. Prices were great. Free hot cider and cookies for our little one. They also had the nicest wreaths I've come across (we bought one of those, too). They helped shake your tree and carry it out to the car. We didn't realize the place was pet friendly too because we would have brought our Collie with us. Compared to some of the other larger places, this farm was smaller but there was still plenty of close parking and prices were on par (even slightly cheaper) than other places we've patronized. There were friendly staff helping you find anything you needed. It really did have that small farm feel and charm without the huge crowds and huge lines. In all, it was an outstanding experience for everyone in the family and we plan to come back for years to come! read more

When I see a red tag on an item I immediately think- reserved, and move on. Here they reverse that and only allow you to cut down the tagged trees, which there were hardly any. We realized this too late, cut down non-tagged trees and I was met by a very grinchy elderly man who handed me a red tag that read $90. For that I should have gotten a free wreath, a bag of kettle corn, and an ornament for my overpriced tree. Will not be going back. read more

We've traveled to several tree farms over the years. But this one has been our favorite so far! I will admit, at first we were shocked at the sticker prices! But then we realized they had a wide variety of trees and the one we wanted happened to be towards the cheaper end ($48 for a 6' super fat tree - yay!). It's the biggest nicest tree we've ever had. We will definitely be returning. They also had a $5/$10 coupon on their website which is another reason we gave them a shot. Free apple cider and a cute little barn gift shop too. They also had several fire pits going. The people were very friendly! Cute stream with foot bridges running through the property also. We will be back! read more

I made the mistake of going somewhere else this year. Never again. This tree farm is expensive, no doubt about it. But it's so charming and I drive by it every day on my way to work so I see those trees growing all year long. We went here last year and I loved the customer service, and the barn with all the ornaments, cider, etc. It was charming. Definitely going back again next year! read more

To say that this place is a rip off is probably an understatement. Talk about inappropriately profiting off Christmas. Most trees were 100.00 and up. I couldn't believe it. My kiddo had a melt down because we couldn't afford the tree she wanted. Saying that, it is a pretty place to take a couple pictures. read more

Lovely experience, with nicely shaped trees that were easy to find. The staff members were friendly, helpful, and efficient. We were very pleased with the barn, which has benches you can warm up on while you enjoy some hot cider and cookies. In the barn you can also find a variety of ornaments for your tree. This was our first time and it was exactly the experience we've been looking for. You can get your tree quickly or linger and walk around and find just the perfect tree for your family. One of the employees even volunteered to take a photo of our family, but was perfectly kind about it when one of my daughters escaped :) read more

Last weekend my wife and I visited Enchanted Winds to cut and purchase our tree, as we do every year. When we couldn't find what we wanted the owners went out of their way to personally help us select the perfect tree. And they did it with smiles and good cheer! Then the outside crew bundled it and tied it to the roof of our car. This while we stayed in the warm, dry barn drinking their apple cider and eating Christmas cookies! I took my young kids to buy our fresh cut Xmas tree last December and from the reviews that I had read, the Enchanted Winds Farm sounded a perfect place to have this experience. I really wanted to start a new tradition with my kids to cut our own tree. When we got to the farm it was about the end of the day but still an hour left before closing. We soon found a perfect size and shape tree to take home and actually got some help from the nice young man working there to cut and move the tree. When we go the tree near the barn where they shake and net warp the trees, the old man who could have been the sweetest Santa like person and seemed the owner of the farm told me to go and pay for it while his guys would shake and wrap our tree. I noticed how much dead needles came out after they shook other people's trees so I was really hoping that they shake mine well. I did exactly as the old man said so that it wouldn't rush them in shaking it. But I was back only a couple minutes later with the pay receipt in my hand and there were other people's trees still a head of mine for shake and wrap before I left. To my much surprise I noticed that my tree was actually fully wrapped. I ask the old man if they did shake my tree and he said yes. I was in disbelief kind of like when you strongly know someone is not being truthful to you. To me the old man really could have been a nice Santa figure that we bought our Xmas tree from his farm, there was no way he could be lying for such a mundane matter especially since it was still another 15 min left before they were to close... So, I asked my 9 year old son who was standing with our tree the entire time if they shook our tree and he said no dad. Still I thought my son was being confused and I wasn't going to dispute with the old man. So we put the tree on our car and drove back home. When we got home and put the tree on the stand, and opened the net wrapping, the dead needles kept falling like snow on our carpet and everywhere in the living room... In just a few minutes we had about 2 inches of needles on the carpet. The tree had long branches so the entire living room and furniture were covered with needles. After I hand sweep most of the needles and took bucket after bucket to the yard waste which took me a long time on that cold night, I started vacuuming... That much needle completely broke my fairly new vacuum cleaner. So within a few weeks I had to also buy a new vacuum cleaner. I didn't let my kids to see the bitterness from my face or know what actually happened but I really felt betrayed. To me that old Santa man who could give us a nice and positive tree cut experience was actually a scrooge who lied to us just to rush us out of there. I will never go back to that place. The trees are actually much more expensive than the already cut trees from Home Depot or other already cut tree shops. But the cost of new vacuum cleaner was much more... Shame on him. read more
