Drove a little out of my way to come here for a Pedicure and some me time. It's hard to find a good place in the area so I was willing to make the drive. Unfortunately, Encore was a let down. $40 for a relaxation pedicure that was rushed and only included 3 total minutes of foot and leg massage, 2 minutes scrub, 1 minute with lotion. The shortest massage I've ever had during a pedicure. The massage chairs were really bad to the point of almost being useless. Pedicure chairs facing each other also takes away from a calming experience if you want to relax. I brought my ear buds to drown out their music and hopefully create my own spa ambience in sound at least but it wasn't enough. When I asked about sloughing off the dead skin on my feet with the grater I was told no. Even though I could see two other people having it done while I was there. So now I guess I have to do that myself at home before my trip, because I can definitely feel areas that need it. The water went cold and was never reheated or replaced. No stones were used. So overall I paid $40 to just have my toes painted I feel, which I could do myself for free. I'm mad I wasted my time and money here. I won't be back read more

I originally attended the shop on April 18 because I needed my toenail fixed. Alex did a beautiful job of building the nail out, making it supernatural, and giving me the exact design I wanted it. I returned to this facility on April 30 and requested a gel pedicure and a dip manicure. Upon my arrival, I requested Alex; however, they said it would take 30 minutes for him to arrive, so I went with who was available. There was a young lady who did my nails and the design. The pedicure was quick and nothing extraordinary, but I did go least expensive option. They opted for sugar crystals on four nails which I had to return on Sunday to get removed since they stated they're unable to seal because of the type of crystals they are, so they exchanged them out for the rhinestone design that you see pictured So here we are, May 2, two days in, and I have Four nails broken and a rhinestone missing. My total came our 130 before tipping my tech. I feel I was robbed. And would have possibly returned; however, when I returned yesterday owner kept explaining to me I'm too rough on my nails, and that's why the sugar crystals did not last, and kept explaining to me that it's basically my fault that they're rubbing off. However, when she rubbed on my nails, and they were rolling off, I asked her if that was expected, and she just kept stating you have to be really gentle. read more

I was a walk-in midday for a mani pedi. Benny sat me right away. He was friendly, helpful and thorough. He used gloves. which I appreciate, didn't try to up sell, and didn't make fun of my toe nails (they are unusually short and most technicians mention that like they are scolding me). I was out in an hour and 15 even with regular nail salons polish drying. The mani was $25 and a basic pedicure was $32, so $57 altogether. The only thing that could have make it better was the price. I love the ambience,the lighting and the mood your quickly placed is one of relaxation. Of course the complimentary wine might have accelerated the ease of my mind peacefully drifting off while my nails get worked on. Luckily, I came at the perfect timing as they're offering 20% off selected services. I had my nails dipped and did an ombré pink & white also waxing. I was on my way to another salon but decided to stop here because a friend had good things to say about her nails done here. The nail salon wasn't busy. I asked for a new set of acrylics and explained gel didn't work out for me.After I told my story, my tech suggested a hybrid gel option that comes in different shades of natural colors. This is is what I got and after 2 1/2 weeks I am still happy with the results. I also asked for a pedicure in french. The pedicure definitely met my expectations. My nail beds and cuticles were properly attended to. My nails were trimmed and shaped nicely and compliment my toes. They pedicure still looks great after 2 1/2 weeks as well. Overall,my experience was pretty good. I would only suggest upgrading the atmosphere and offering clients water, snacks etc to get a 5 star since they charge the same prices as others in the area. The salon is very nice and pretty on the inside, looks clean, and that's about all the nice things to say. Looking at other reviews I saw people mention how fast everyone goes, still wanted to give it a try, my mom and I went when there were about 3 other customers in the salon with an appointment and we felt rushed. I got dip nails, and they are okay the tech barely cleaned up my cuticles, sure fine not many places do that anymore. The dip itself wasn't as clean, he didn't get my entire nail just fast the edges of my nails weren't covered and some parts of the dip aren't even so some of my nails don't follow the natural shape and are thicker in other parts. My mom enjoyed her pedicure except they took off the toe separators right away so no time for them to dry and we're ruined so we had to repaint. Her nails were okay, she didn't clean the nail polish on the sides unless pointed out and when she did she even got some of the nail and didn't care to repaint, disappointing experience honestly. I would kind of understand the speed if it was busy but literally there was no one waiting and just fast fast fast. I was coming to this salon for 2 years. They began charging a bit more recently. Although they had a sign on the front desk about this increase, they didn't have a menu or a flyer of the prices on nails. (I only see a price menu for pedicure.) When I had a manicure, I was overcharged. When I said I only had gel and not dip, she didn't clarify but said that is the price, which is $45. I paid and left. $45 for a gel manicure?! I knew they increased their prices but it's never $45 for a gel. This is not including tip. I did not visit again. My loyalty meant nothing. read more

A simple walk-in that seemed was going to be a while turned to playful chatter with JoJo (a nail technician with great people skills), and even getting to know Emily (the owners daughter). After making me even more excited for the service, I was sat with Vivian, who gave the most relaxing and comforting pedicure I've ever had. I won't be returning. The first time I came for a pedicure was great, they did a fantastic job but from there it has gone downhill every time. I have had multiple pedicures and manicures and each time was a disappointment. Here are some of the problems I encountered and each time I asked to try someone different than the time before: I had one regular manicure and the guy cut me up so terribly my nails were bleeding by the end of it and I had time strips of paper towels around my cuticles. I had dip polish done for my wedding and my nails looked nothing like the picture I showed. Not only that, they were terribly uneven, thick and I was again cut all up. I had scabs all over my cuticles in my wedding pictures and on my honeymoon. Regardless of how they looked in that case, they HURT. Imagine 8 out of 10 nails being cut up and bleeding with scabs. Not going to feel very good. And they literally looked like chiclet gum on my nails. I had to come back the next day to have the owner repair what they could. But when I came back the next day they tried to put me with the same lady?! Every pedicure apart from the first one has been SO QUICK. Literally, and I mean LITERALLY because I timed it, the massage was 30 seconds each leg. Like what. Had my eyebrows done and the tech took off wayyyy too much from the inside and I do NOT know how to do makeup well enough to cover that up so that was fun while they grew back. The only reason I kept coming back was because they are relatively close to my home and they are the cleanest out of all the other places I have tried in the New Port Richey area and I thought maybe each different person would be better. read more

He cut me pretty badly 3-4 times to the point I was bleeding (I'll spare you the photos, but I have pics). Promised glow in the dark, but apparently only comes in dip. Called to let staff know I was disappointed and offered 10% off next time. When I went I mentioned that upon arrival, but didn't confirm. Upon checkout, the owner Vivian, could not do such thing. I explained, but she "hadn't heard about it". She wasn't able to provide discount that I had been promised.
