Unfortunately, Encore was a let down. $40 for a relaxation pedicure that was rushed and only included 3 total minutes of foot and leg massage, 2 minutes scrub, 1 minute with lotion. The shortest massage I've ever had during a pedicure. The massage chairs were really bad to the point of almost being useless. Pedicure chairs facing each other also takes away from a calming experience if you want to relax. I brought my ear buds to drown out their music and hopefully create my own spa ambience in sound at least but it wasn't enough. When I asked about sloughing off the dead skin on my feet with the grater I was told no. Even though I could see two other people having it done while I was there. So now I guess I have to do that myself at home before my trip, because I can definitely feel areas that need it. The water went cold and was never reheated or replaced. No stones were used. So overall I paid $40 to just have my toes painted I feel, which I could do myself for free. I'm mad I wasted my time and money here. I won't be back

He seemed visibly irritated and displeased about having to do my nails, which immediately made me feel uncomfortable. Unfortunately, his attitude also seemed to reflect in the quality of his work. My nails were done very sloppily and felt rushed, as if he simply wanted to get me out of the chair because I wasn't getting the more expensive service. I still paid for my service in full, but I chose not to leave a tip because I did not feel the service or experience warranted one. I didn't say anything while I was there because I was honestly so uncomfortable and upset by his demeanor that I just wanted to leave. No customer should feel like they are an inconvenience simply because they choose a basic service instead of a more expensive one. Regardless of what service someone chooses, they should still be treated professionally and receive quality work. I left feeling uncomfortable, disappointed, and unhappy with my nails. They were ready for all three of us right away, and we were able to sit together. The salon was clean, the chairs were comfortable, and the staff was very high energy and friendly. They offered us drinks, including wine. My SIL is a regular, and several of the staff chatted with her. Malika did my pedicure, and I genuinely cannot say enough good things about her. She's extremely sweet and lovely, but she also did an amazing job on my pedicure and eyebrow wax/trim. My toenails grow quickly, and need to be round and shaped well, or they will be painful and start becoming ingrown almost right away. I mentioned that to Malika, and she honestly took such great care with my pedicure. It's been almost two weeks and they still feel fantastic, which is not at all usual for me. I'd had a pedicure in my hometown just a few weeks prior, but they must not have done a great job, because Malika put in a lot of effort trimming my cuticles. I've tried several different salons in my hometown, and have not had nearly the positive experience that I've had with this pedicure. I was getting close to seeing a podiatrist to treat my ingrown nails, but at least for now, it's no longer necessary. I joke now that I just need to fly to Odessa to see Malika every once in a while. Malika helped me choose a gel color (an iridescent light pink/purple), and truly - my toes have never felt so good, and looked so cute before. I couldn't be more pleased! Malika also waxed and trimmed my eyebrows, and they've never looked better. I've been admiring my toes and eyebrows for the past two weeks, and getting compliments on them, so I definitely wanted to leave a glowing review. My SIL and niece are regulars and are equally pleased with their gel pedis. I felt that Malika worked quickly, but she did take some extra time with me, which I really appreciated. Now that she's got everything shaped up, if I were able to return regularly, I'm positive that it would take less time. I'm extremely sad that I don't live closer! I don't necessarily prefer a quick pedicure, but I know that many people do, and that is definitely a possibility here. When it came time for the bill, I found the pricing to be very competitive, and they have a lot of options for payment. There is a discount for using a method other than credit card.
