This place is pretty huge, lots of seating, friendly staff. It's been a few years since I've gotten my nails done and this was my first time going here. To start though, I feel like it is on the expensive side-like they nickel and dime you. Want a pedicure? Ok no problem- price ranges and they try to upsell you on "premium" treatments. I would say the massage is short and nothing to rave about compared to other places I've gone. Want gel? That's a $15 upcharge- on top of the $40+ pedicure. Getting art? $5 per foot even if you only do one toe on each foot. Getting your nails done? They charge an extra $7 to touch up your cuticles in preparation of doing your nails. Got a dip which they seal with a gel coat? Extra $15 on top of dip. Just pretty wild to me. It cost $268 (before tipping) for 2 pedicures, 2 dips, and 2 eyebrow waxes. My nails looked great for about a week before they started to crack inside, under the gel coat. Started cracking and crumbling at the tips and sides around the 2 week mark. I got the nails off and now my nails are weak and tearing anytime it gets a little growth. I'm sure that will continue until the nails grow out again. read more

The girl at the front desk was so unfriendly. Did not smile one time. Seemed annoyed that we were there. The lady doing my pedicure was friendly but seemed to be in a hurry. The end result was so embarrassing. She first went over my toes with polish and I asked her to fix it. She chopped off polish so weird that it looked horrible. My child would have done better. I got to the point where I realized I will have to fix it at home. They probably will continue messing it up. My daughter was with me. What a beautiful addition to the Starkey community ! I am always hesitant to try new nail salons because nowadays a good nail tech is hard to find. However, my community has a residents page and many people recommended this location and to see either Maya or Miki so I went with Maya. My appointment was at 3 and they were running a little bit behind so I sat down in the pedicure chairs about 3:15. I didn't mind the wait though because the host at the front helped me pick out my color and offered me a drink while I waited. They have a cute lounge area that is adorable with tables and beverages. No wine though :( I love having wine or mimosas while getting my nails done so I hope they add that soon. The pedicure I got was called Sapphire with the vitamin recharge. The chair was extremely comfortable and the massage during my pedicure was great. Maya really took her time with my feet and made sure they were perfect before even getting into the pedicure fun stuff. I love when people take their time on my feet because that means they really care about their work and your appearance :) the pedicure itself was pretty awesome! She gave me a good massage from my knees to toes and it felt great. Nothing like getting a good foot rub after being on your feet all the time. Cons- Several areas of cuticle were not trimmed and apart was bleeding. They didn't use cuticle oil. Only a small dab of lotion was used on the back of my wrist and the wrist/hand massage was rough and 10 seconds long. No lotion was used on my hands or cuticles. They don't use a new nail file for each person. Not sure how clean the tools are used for manicures, but the towel under my hands had stains. The places smelled strongly of chemicals. I man I get it is a nail stain but their ventilation is poor. One of my nails got bumped and, instead of removing the polish that was wrinkled and reapplying it, the nail tech glopped a large amount of nail polish on the nail. I was then told I should've gotten gel instead. The entire time we were having our nails done the nail techs spoke very loudly to each other in their native language. Pros- service was fast. The manicure took 20 min. They were able to get us in within an hour. Beautiful ambience. Easy check out. If you need an inexpensive, express manicure maybe this is your spot. If not, I'd recommend a different nail salon. read more

Located near the Starkey Ranch housing development, Polish opened in July 2020; it has a sister location in Jacksonville. It is a physically beautiful, posh, contemporary nail salon that is located beside Publix Liquors. There is no parking shortage. It is open Mon thru Friday from 9:30 AM till 7:30 PM; Saturdays 9 AM till 7 PM; & Sundays from 11 AM till 6 PM. Walk Ins are welcome. The salon was clean, extremely well lit, & it has a gorgeous high, white, open ceiling-- I notice architecture:) Check-in is electronic & fast; however, the friendly manager is available at the red counter. The front area also offers a tall counter w/ stools for nail drying. To the left of the reception area is Polish Beverage Bar; there are cans of soda & water in a small refrigerator, as well as a coffee pot on the counter. WI-FI info can be found there. (I was not told of the free beverages; request one if you're thirsty.) There is a section for Pedicures; 20 comfortable black message chairs fill the room. There's one overhead TV in that room. Directly across from the pedicure room is a large section complete w/ manicure tables & chairs. Plexiglass is still present, although staff & all customers but one were unmasked today. There's one TV in this room as well; a cooking show played throughout my visit. Overhead music pumped out relaxing popular & alternative music filling the entire salon. As a Tuesday morning walk in, I honestly had the B*E*S*T, yet fastest, service for Ombre nails (w/ tips). This was my fourth salon to use for Ombre nails, but the first time a salon easily earned 5 STARS. T.B. knows nails! Almost the moment we met, he told me he's very good. He emphasized it. And he was correct! My salon time was cut in half due to his unique way of applying the dip. (He didn't dip my nails into the powder or sprinkle the power onto my nails.) His simplified application process & the beauty of his work will assure that I won't go to any other nail tech whenever I want Ombre; SMOOTH, FLAWLESS, GORGEOUS coverage! T.B. also noticed I have a crooked finger (due to a break & a screw); he is the first of any nail tech over the past decade to apply my nail tip in a way that compensated for the slant. He was dedicated to doing his best work. And he also gave me an EXCELLENT gel French nail pedicure. His lines are PERFECT-- a first for me! (He did state that he doesn't do nail designs; however, others in the salon do.) Before I left a tip, my expenses today were $107 for Ombre gel nails w/ tips & a French Gel Pedicure. I've paid less & I've paid more; however, T.B.'s work is superior to all. On the salon's menu, there are two MANICURES offered ($19 & $30) & five PEDICURES listed from $29 to $75. FULL SETS OF NAILS are $33+ (Acrylics); $47+ (Powder Gel); $55+ (Pink & White Acrylic); $58+ (Ombre Acrylic); and $48+ (Liquid Gell). FILL prices are $25+ to $50+. DIPPING POWDER is available from $42+ to $62+, & FULL WAXING starts @ $9+ (lip) all the way to $60+ (full legs). There are sixteen ADDITIONAL SERVICES available that range in price from $3+ (nail design) to $25+ (full polish feet w/o services). EYELASH EXTENSION services are priced $10+ to $180+. CHILDREN are welcome here as guests & as customers. These services are available to those age TEN & under: Manicure $14; Pedicure $23; Nail Polish Change $8; & Toe Polish Change $10. I'll definitely return when my hands & feet are screaming for professional help.
