Angelica helped me and my family purchase our first home in January 2023. As a military family we…read moreexpressed our need to find a home that I could retire from the military and raise our children in. We asked for a turn key ready home as I don't have the money or time to invest in costly repairs. She showed us several homes but we just couldn't land on the right home. We finally found one that was in our price range, however the nightmare was just beginning. The home needed small cosmetic repairs and Angelica assured us that we could get $18K in credits. When we went to sign we noticed that the money had went to the closing cost. This was not part of what we understood to be the case. She then said we would have to pay that out of pocket if we didn't put the credits. When I said we wanted out, she mentioned that the sellers could sue us. I felt threatened and pressured to finish purchasing this house. Then on closing day the sellers refused to leave. They stayed in the home an additional 4 days. When I questioned Angelica she said "I'm sorry, this hasn't happened to me before." I got not compensation and when I asked if I could charge them rent for not leaving on time she said it would take time and cost a lot. She used her nephew to do the inspection, cost $450 and he said the home looked great and we were lucky to have the home. The home was built in 2017 and I am using my homeowners insurance for the third time for roof repairs needed, busted laundry room valves and now in our sink in the kitchen. This house has been a running money pit since we bought it. I understand that as a home owner that I have to make repairs but this is ridiculous. The bedroom carpet was soaked so bad with dog urine that I had to have the floors replaced. I wish that I had something nice to say but instead of Angelica selling us our dream home she sold us a nightmare. I don't recommend using her as your agent, unless you want to be led astray. I waited so long to make a review because I kept thinking the problems would stop eventually and the bleeding would end eventually, but it just won't end. I've had to declare bankruptcy because of what Angelica and her team has put us through. THANKS FOR NOTHING!!!!!

After that, I went to another broker and got pre-approved almost immediately. I qualified for the home without any problems. All I can say is that they were not very professional. In my opinion, Simon seemed focused only on money. I felt that he was trying to earn commissions from both sides. When I decided not to use his broker, my offer was not accepted, and I was told that another offer had been accepted instead. That was my experience, and it left me feeling that my interests were not the priority.
