Since then, Docs has been or first choice for vinyl purchases of all levels. We are not collectors, really. I'm fine with a $7 Led Zeppelin disc with some magic marker on it as long as the vinyl plays well. We try to keep it $15 or under per record, though we've broken this rule a few times. At that level, there are always fun finds here at Docs. The selection is large in all genres. We found all three Stealer's Wheel records in a single trip. My rare 70s rock like Be-Bop Deluxe, Crack The sky, and Sweet comes through regularly at reasonable prices. And don't forget to check the new arrivals bin. Highly recommended!

There is no guessing whether they have the artist you want or not. You can even see, across the aisle from you, what artists are on the opposite aisle from you at just a glance. Doc's labels their record tabs front AND back! Oh what a dream for me who usually has a list of records I am looking for. Each vintage vendor and nook is worth taking your time in exploring. We saw such a wide variety and range of vintage clothing, memorabilia, shoes, artwork, purses, glassware, and knick knacks. I also saw several sale items that were worth a look through if you don't get enticed to just take it home. I found some cool vintage purses and 90's band shirts I had to have. Even though I was here for the records and bought well over a half a dozen of a mix of single and albums on vinyl I was super pleased with the variety of vintage and new/artisan stuff they had for sale here. I purchased a 1935 Connecticut Commemorative Half Dollar for $200 from this store with a bit too…read moremuch trust... the gentleman working the counter was pushing the notion of the coin being of an exceptional grade, which would prompt a significant price jump if graded by a professional grading service- I didn't have a jeweler's loupe with me and my eyes aren't quite trained on grading, so I trusted his judgement. After purchasing and having a local coin dealer authenticate it, they stated that it has irrefutable evidence of the coin being cleaned, which certainly affects the value of the coin. He offered me $100 to take it off my hands. Either this individual has no idea what he's doing, or he is completely cognizant and a slimy salesman.
