It was the only office where I got to speak to the actual agent, not their representative, and it was quick and easy. Amie is also an OSU graduate who has been helping students in the area for over ten years. She also has an expansive list of what most landlords and rental offices require, which was super quick. Last fall, I was involved with an accident that totaled my vehicle, and there was a hasty procurement of a replacement vehicle just before Thanksgiving. I walked into the Allstate office to add my new car to my policy, and four or five people greeted me all at once. They got my new vehicle added to my policy and I was on my way again in less than 20 minutes. A few months later, I had to call them again because apparently totaling one's vehicle doesn't automatically remove it from one's policy (a company-wide issue, not this particular office) and the representative on the phone quickly handled the request once I explained the situation. She followed up with an email confirming the transaction, and the request turned over in time to be adjusted before my next bill was due. I'm pleased with my current experience and plan on continuing with them as long as I'm in the area.

Also again, Nationwide doesn't play by the rules, I was in an accident, that wasn't my fault, there are laws that say it wasn't my fault, and Nationwide didn't care, also, my adjuster was a coward, he wanted to put the blame on me, but when I told him about the laws, he still refuse to issue a letter to the other driver's insurance company explaining who was a t fault and why. My adjuster also refuse to interview my witnesses, because they knew me slightly, so Nationwide discriminates against people who have jobs and can work as part of a team. My adjuster had no legal knowledge, and the supervisor had very less than he did, plus nobody was able to show me the policy that says they can't interview my witnesses. Only after I threatened to file a Bad Faith lawsuit against them we they willing to do work, more than 3 months after the collision, and after I had done all of the research and interviews that my adjuster failed to do, I might as well have been my own adjuster, because Nationwide didn't do anything for me. Nationwide would not even put me in contact with their designated agent for service of legal process, because they didn't want me to present to a judge my mountain of evidence compared to their poorly conducted claim. In short, Nationwide doesn't honor their contract, provides poor coverage, continually raised my premium, charged me my deductible and raised my rates (which is illegal unless I'm at fault) and completely disregards the law, they lie, cheat, and steal.
