Back again for another End Zone daily special! This one is the AYCE fish & chips for $10.99 on Friday. Outstanding! They use halibut for the fish & it is perfection. Flaky, pure white, juicy with a great fry on it. The french fries are delicious as we know from a previous visit. They make their own tartar sauce & I would buy a vat of it because it's delicious. I didn't love the little container of cole slaw but I am a very picky cole slaw eater, hubby liked it. The second round, you get a half size piece of fish with or without chips. YUM! Hubby did a second & third round of fish. When other restaurants are serving fish & chips for close to $20, this is a steal! And we loved everything about it. Patrons were still an interesting side show, even early on a Friday evening. We will be back soon for another round of fish & chips! read more

Was in town for my mom's birthday weekend. Found this place on Yelp and stopped in on a Saturday night to get a couple of burgers. Place was crowded, which would be a good thing except we got stared down at by several of the clientele. It was bad enough that we left without our order. As we left, there were a few choice remarks made. If it's a private club exclusive to only locals and regulars, that's fine. If so, they should take down the sign and stop advertising on social media. They obviously don't care about their image with anyone except the repeat customers. No comments on the food; didn't get a chance to taste it. No comments on the service; there was none to comment on. read more

This was my first time coming here ever. There were five of us. We came in for the .35 wings on a Thursday. First, let me just say that their website says they're .25, but their in house menu says .35 wings. That's ok, no big deal there. I wasn't getting wings anyway. The waitress came over and we had gotten there literally a few minutes behind our friends (literally about three minutes). Our friends got their drinks very quickly, as the bar was right next to our table. When we came in, the waitress came over and never once asked us if we wanted drinks. Okay, no big deal, we figured we would order it with our food. She began to take our orders, all without an order pad. There were five of us, and we don't split the check, we get two separate tabs. One for the three of them, and one for the two of us. SHOULDNT be a big deal, not rocket science. But again, she was taking our orders without an order pad. We asked her how she would be able to remember everything without writing it down and she indicated that she was skilled in her trade and assured us that she didn't need an order pad (remember this fact for later on in this review). My friends ordered wings - one ordered ten piece wings with a side salad (the salad was extra, obviously). My other friend ordered 20 piece wings (two different flavors, extra crispy). My third friend ordered a steak and cheese sandwich (which looked literally as though it was shaved steak topped with cheez whiz - just disgusting in my opinion but I wasn't eating it so it wasn't my problem). I ordered onion soup, seafood stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer to split with my guy, and a haddock dinner with coleslaw for the side, and my fiancé ordered a burger and fries. Here's where the REAL issue starts. Typically, when you order a side salad it comes before the main dish/entree so that you can eat that first. That did not happen, my friend got her salad with her wings. She wasn't happy about that but again, no big deal. The onion soup I got was super watered down, almost no cheese, the crouton was so stale that it was rubbery inside the soup. There was essentially no flavor. It was like browned water with a couple of onions in it, stale bread and a teaspoon of cheese. Yuck. As I said above, my friend's steak and cheese was more like steak and cheez whiz. Then, the haddock came out for me (before the appetizer of stuffed mushrooms but that was primarily because we ordered the mushrooms late, as an after thought). The fish was a bit over cooked but overall, it was cooked fish. Nothing to write home about but not putrid either. The coleslaw was AWFUL. It was NOT fresh. It was SWIMMING in the dressing they use for coleslaw, and it was overly tangy. Did not eat it. No spices. No flavor. The seafood stuffed mushrooms were pretty gross as well. I'm not sure how they make it, but seafood stuffed mushrooms should be savory, not tangy. It tasted like they dumped lemon juice all over them before bringing them out. My fiancé said his burger was *ok*. I did try the fries and as far as I'm concerned, that was the only thing we had that was any good, besides the water I got for a drink. I'd like to tell you how the chicken wings were, but I didn't try them, and my third friend NEVER GOT HIS FOOD. He never got his 20 piece, extra crispy two flavor chicken wings. We brought it to the attention of our waitress as we were all eating, all of us but him. Next thing we know, a DIFFERENT wait person comes over and asks us what the problem was. We told HER what the issue was - he never got his food. "What did he order?" We told her what he ordered. She assures us she is putting in the order and it shouldn't be long. My friend said, "Well, everyone else is almost done eating, I don't want to eat when everyone else is done so I'm at the point where I don't even want them now." Again, she assures us it it'll only be a moment and he will have them before we are all done. Another 20 minutes goes by and still no food for my friend (the rest of us are done eating at this point). This time a THIRD wait person comes by asking what the issue is. We again explain it to this one. She cops an attitude with us as if WE are causing HER a problem (mind you, she came over to us, we were just literally sitting there waiting without saying a word to anyone) and states that she will take it off the bill. Well, yeah, you will because he's not paying for something he's never even gotten! Another 15 minutes goes by and no one came back to our table. At this point, my friend had gone out to the car and we just wanted the check having been absolutely MORTIFIED by the unprofessionalism, lack of food quality for those of us who actually got food, and just wanted the check. No accountability, no professionalism, everyone blamed someone else. DO NOT RECOMMEND. The tabs were 100% incorrect, FYI: there's more but I can only put so much in this review. It's pretty pricey for the place itself. It either feels like you've gone back to the 80s or are in some southern bar waiting for a fight go down. The best clubhouse to go to now that Gillian's Ale House is closed. Bar staff here is fabulous. They have fun food specials during the week, like wings or steak fry. The bar itself is a typical dive, but the owners make sure all precautions are made for covid. It's a dive sports bar turned up to 11. Not for everyone obviously, but I really enjoyed it. Friendly waitstaff, reasonable prices, and more TV's than anyone could watch. The Friday night special is all-you-can-eat fish-n-chips and it was pretty darn good for eight bills. One serving was more than I needed. Super loud, music, TV's and shouting patrons. One of my favorite spots to grab cold beers. They chill their glasses for the best draft experience. The place is nothing to look at but the crowd is always entertaining. Alicia behind the bar is the hardest working bartender I've ever seen. She's attentive and makes sure you are not thirsty. The daily food special is awesome. I had an interesting experience at the End Zone Pub. I work near this location and have been wanting to try it out. The parking lot is a bit small and it might be tough to find a spot on a busy night. Perhaps some of the office building lots behind the pub can be utilized. I walked in and was hit with that 'old building' smell. Not moldy, not gross, just kind of old & musty. The bartender was extremely nice. I liked that she knew most everyone's name that was in the establishment. She said hello and goodbye to everyone. Part of my negativity was I ended up getting out of work early and I was surprised by the 2pm group of patrons. Maybe I am just not used to that demographic. Every Friday they have All you can eat Fish & Chips. I think the price is $6! The guy next to me said it was really good and wish he could have eaten more. I saw other tables get a variety of wraps and sammiches. Everyone seemed happy with the food. The prices are good and the portions were 'right-sized'. The beer prices were also right in line. There are TVs everywhere and it seems like a good place to watch some sports. They have those portable speakers that lets you tune to the TV you want and listen to the sound. I need to go back and eat to complete this review. I wanted to rate it a bit lower but I have a feeling that the food would help achieve the 3rd star....if not higher. read more

A true dive bar that offers good deals throughout the week. Bar is filled with locals. Monday nights are free taco night... order some drinks get free taco's- everyone loved taco's. Thursday night is wing night, 25 cent wings- min of 10. And every Thursday it is a different kind of wing flavor special- Asian Chile are my fav. Bartenders in the 3-6 window are great and the place is always hoppin. If you sit next to the bathroom you get a whiff of urinal cake, ha. First time going. Horrible experience. Went for Friday all you care to eat fish and chips. Went at 7pm. Waited 30 min for 1st order. Never had a server come by and ask if we needed another drink. Food comes out. Good fish and chips but small order. Ok no problem, order another. Was told , sorry, ran out of fish! Really? Ok, no offer for a substitute, did not ask if we wanted another beer. Worst service ever. Who trains the staff, cooks or servers? Just paid the bill and left. Would never set foot in here again. Food was not bad but service was poor and staff unprofessional. Obviously they prefer their regulars, but with such poor service, they won't get regulars ! Maybe you will have better luck. I don't hope for good service, I expect it. At least the basics. Retrain your staff and treat customers the way you would want to be treated. Should have listened to the other reviews about service. read more

The End Zone is a local sports bar. Lots of TV's and a comfortable bar to sit at. They also have high top tables around one side of the bar. We used to like to stop in here for the steak night (great steak, salad and a drink for about $10.95) or for the all you can eat fish and chips. We stopped coming in because of the lousy (and I mean truly bad) service by the bar staff. We watched one bartender constantly wiping her nose on the back of her hand. Then while she was cutting garnish up for the drinks (lemons, oranges, etc.) she would cut some, and then stuff some in her mouth and then keep cutting. Follow that up with arguing to get some utensils to eat with and food orders not being put in and you end up with a one star review. read more

First time I've been here, I was excited about it because, I live in the neighborhood. As soon as I sat, it took about 15 minutes to get service, which was fine because the bartender was very busy, I get it! It wasn't until she finally approached my table, cut me off mid-sentence to say, "I don't care, what do you have to order." That's when immediately I was aggravated. We ordered an app, she never came back to see if we wanted anything else or if we wanted entrees(which we did) and my drink was left empty for 20 minutes before I said "Nevermind let's go somewhere else." This is your basic Pub-Grub and beer place. It gets very noisy, lots of large TVs and sports on the screen, as well as Keno. Decor is old but reasonably clean, The bar is large and the waitresses work their butts off, so service is quite good. Food is average, prices are good, and beer prices for drafts are very good. Don't expect a gourmet meal, but set your expectations reasonably and you will be happy. There are a lot of 'locals' there who know each other, but they have always been friendly. I've been there 4-5 times over the last 6 months and expect to go more, considering how bad the competition is in the area. read more

Being a fisherman & lobsterman...I know my chowder. This is the best white chowder I have ever had. Loaded with clams and potatoes...nice and thin just like it should be made...no heavy thick broth. My only complaint is at they don't have it all the time. It's an award winner for sure. read more

My cousin, twin and I went to this restaurant/bar around 11 to grab a bite to eat. My cousin is 23 and my sister and I are 20, 2 months shy of being 21. Didn't think this would be a problem since I wasn't planning on ordering alcohol. My cousin ordered a beer while my sister and I grabbed a bag of chips and sat down to talk. Half hour goes by and I was telling my cousin and sister a story (not disturbing anyone or being loud) and a waitress comes over and yells "ARE YOU 21" and I answered politely "No..?" and she started yelling that we needed to leave right now and got security. While I was walking out, she made a very rude said "HA FUNNY STORY BY THE WAY". Unexpected and disgusted reaction from waitress. I didn't attempt to order alcohol, just went to eat and play some pool. Understand that they might have regulations about being over 21 after a certain time, but she could have handled the situation ALOT more politely and I was disgusted at how embarrassed and harassed I felt. I've been here many times. Good food, decent priced drinks. However, DO NOT PAY WITH YOUR CREDIT CARD OR DEBIT! What happened to me tonight happened to my friend a month ago. The machine acts like it doesn't accept your card and they run it again and again. My friend was triple charged. I was double. I told the waitress who in turn told the owner, who was sitting at the bar. The owner acted like I was lying, even though he could clearly see my bank app showing the double charge. He did not care that I would be overdrafted. I was kind and nicely trying to find a solution. I was told, not my problem, call the bank and handle it with them. I told him that you created the problem so why do I have to fix it? The bill was only 30 bucks. I had left a ten dollar tip. I told him if I have to eat the charge then I'm removing the tip. He said you are really gonna do that to the waitress? I'm like yes. Now im out 60 not 30 and the tip x 2 would be 20 more. So instead of rectifying the situation by giving me 30 dollars or offering something to make it better. He chastised us over the tip, screwing the customer and his worker and ensuring he was fine. UNLESS YOU WANNA GET ROBBED, I DONT SUGEST GOING HERE! By the way, I have never been treated with such disrespect that I actually wrote a yelp review. So that says a lot. read more
