(562) 431-3001 or DLeonard@endeavormtg.com Long Version: When I was referred to Endeavor Mortgage by one of the real estate agents I talked to early on in my house search and I was a bit skeptical. But I reached out to Dan Leonard to see what the whole mortgage broker thing was all about and I am so glad I did. My husband and I are numbers people and none of the other individuals we had talked to about getting a mortgage could explain the numbers. Dan on the other hand sat down with us in his office (on short notice I might add) and walked us through everything. And by everything I mean the 15 or so different scenarios we came up with including: whether it was better to have one of us or both on the loan, how to access our down-payment funds given that they were tied up in an investment account, and where the breakeven point was if we accepted a higher interest rate and lender credits to avoid paying closing costs out of pocket. Once we found a property Dan was on top of our loan paperwork and stayed in contact through the whole process. (Which was super helpful considering that half of the paperwork the lender is required to provide by law makes no sense at all) At the end of the day not only did we get our loan but it was for the same terms we were quoted upfront and the cash out of pocket was within 0.01% of the amount Dan predicted. Now did we get a good deal? Yes. Absolutely. We got a better rate and had to come up with less cash out of pocket than we would have if we had gone with either of our primary banking institutions. Which I guess means we actually saved money by working with Dan. Then add to that the peace of mind that comes along with working with a professional who is willing to take the time to explain everything and answer every question... well I cannot recommend Dan enough. When you are talking about hundreds of thousands of dollars, working with someone you can trust is invaluable. If Endeavor Mortgage wasn't your first call for a preapproval or loan it should be your next call. Refinance anyone? I have just been working with Mr. Aaron Madonna with Endeavor Mortgage Group and it was quick, easy, very professional and effortless. Aaron talked me through each phase of the procedure with the expertise of a real professional. My wife and I were about to refi our house with a big name bank and were told by that bank and a few other lenders that the lowest APR we could lock in to was 3.875. Being first timers we assumed that was correct. But we were recommended to Aaron via family member and were told he was our guy. Aaron Madonna helped my wife and I get refinancing we needed, due to the fact that we were on a ARM and with interests rates going up, he got the fixed mortgage we needed. He was even willing to call my wife when she started to balk on the deal.But I was able to explain to her that even though the fixed was higher than the ARM our payments would be almost the same. And also that fixed rates were going up. So if we had deceided to stay with ARM when those rates went up fixedrates could be a lot higher.
